I have suddenly had all my email messages "starred" when I delete them. Unfortunately the original messages remain on my phone after I delete them. How do I remove them?

I want to remove them from the phone. Also, seems like I can't reply to the messages, they stay on the phone with a clock and I'm in a good signal area.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI like the consolidated inbox (messaging) on the RAZR Maxx. I only have 1 significant issue with the app.
We need an option/feature so that when you delete messages from the email server that they are removed from the phone. Having to redundantly delete messages from the phone that have already been deleted from the server is ridiculous.
The opposite is provided ... you can choose if you want to delete messages from the server when you delete them from the phone but the reverse needs to be provided as well.
Even though I've put my Curve 8520 onto the setting to kee SMS messages 'forever', it has deleted all messages I have received prior to November. I still have free memory, so I'm not sure why it's been doing it. I know it might be a long shot, but is there any way that I can get these messages back and prevent it from happing in the future??

My emails are being deleted after they are 7 days old and then when I scroll thru my emails it goes to weird dates with only 1 email there. Also, my texts are being deleted after only a few days...so frustrating!!! I have to be able to go back thru my emails. I went and looked at my memory thinking I was out of memory, but I have 3.0 gb of memory avaliable.

One is if it had a sims card they would still be there. I was told curve with Verizon doesn't have a simscard then I was told they all have one but it is built in. Even in settings, I have kept "forever" in the tab "Days to keep messages" Looking forward for a reply.

I've done search after search on my phone and it's only giving me the messages I've sent to that person and not their messages.

I deleted my login and password for my email account on my phone; I deleted the CIMIME from the Service Book and deleted something called BIS 5 from somewhere. I'm still getting emails on my phone. I sync my calendar with Outlook and the same email address so I haven't gotten rid of CICAL in the Service Book.

I'm writing now one day after the original post. I figured it out and it was in front of me the whole time. Don't go through Options if your with Metro PCS. Click the menu key> Click email set up> Click your email account> Click edit> and then you can change it. I think it is just Metro PCS that does this.
I have a feeling it has to do with a new email account that I added. I deleted the email account but still nothing. When I view my call logs I can see some of my old contacts.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a second hand blackberry curve. The previous owner thought everything had been cleared but I started receiving his emails the other day. I took the phone into a phone shop and they cleared the phone again but I am still receiving his emails. When you go to email setup the only address/account showing is my email, so I can't just disassociate the phone from his account that way.
