I am currently trying to install os update Version 7.1 Bundle 1310 on my Bold 9900 on the Rogers Nework,.I have attached a screenshot of the error message that I keep getting,. My internet connection is fine. The same message pops up always when the download reaches module 731.

View 3 Replies View Relatedhave recently been having few issues with my phone, and noticed im still running the original firmware R1CB001.Installed SEUS, follows all intrustions, gets to where it has progress line for installing the firmware.the update starts but after about 30secs, i hear the sound from my pc as if ive just unplugged something from usb and then few seconds later as if something has been plugged back into usb, then the bar just jumps to the enter and says update complete.Turned phone on again, checks software version and still shows as being same as it originally was.Does anyone have any ideas on whats happening and any possible fix?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently got an update that required a backup. I left my phone on over night. I woke up and discovered an App Error 603. I clicked reset, then it restarted the phone. However, it takes me back to the backup your data screen at 0%. Then an application permerssion notice comes up with Allow or Deny. I try to click either one and it freezes and goes back to the App Error 603 notice.

This could also be because of problems with our servers. Is it that NSU does not support N900 and if so why would Nokia sell a phone and not provide software to update the phone with.

My laptop was definitely connected to the internet because I was browsing while trying to update. The Desktop Manager itself recognises that it is connected to the internet, because it scanned for updates for itself on the internet and updated succefully. But when it came to downloading updates for my blackberry handset. It became oblivion to the fact that it was connected to the internet and kept giving me this senseless error report!
I wanted to intsall Mail For Exchange, and the Nokia E72 NAM doesnt seem to have it when I bought it (unless you can direct me to it). I decided to follow the instructions to install it, but it requires me to update the ovi store. I dont know if this will update the firmware as well, but i heard that the newest firmware (v031.032 i believe) is very buggy, so i want to avoid this until another firmware comes out.Can someone help? if its already on the phone, i just need to know where it is. If its not on the phone, will updating the ovistore affect anything in terms of new firmware or other sorts? The reason i want to install this is to utilize the google calendar so i dont have to keep plugging the e72 into the computer (and possibly damaging the plastic usb cover).

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy 9700 bold was working pretty slow so I plugged it into my boyfriend's PC and checked for a software update, there was one so I installed it. Everything went fine, this time the update didn't crash my blackberry like it had with my previous Blackberry Curve.I've noticed though that my calendar is no longer working properly. I now have TWO notifications of the same reminder/appointment instead of one even though I've only entered one reminder/appointment. Instead of having one calendar alert box, it says there's two. I normally just hit dismiss, which dismisses both notifications but this morning I just hit "snooze" when I did that, the second notification popped up the SAME notification I had just snoozed for 5minutes.How do I change this? It's not a huge problem, just a little annoying and I'm worried the glitch will cause problems down the road.This is my 3rd Blackberry in ONE year as it is..I need this to work properly. I can't afford to go out and buy ANOTHER Blackberry.This one already crashed when I originally installed the Twitter app from RIM, a month after I bought it!
Also after the update, does anyone else's top shortcuts that used to be "keylock" and "silent mode" now only have keylock(which no longer turns the screen on with your owner info) and the other shortcut is totally blank. Is there a way to change this? I liked having the keylock on but being able to bring the screen up to see if I have messages.Plus, I no longer hear my phone ring if it's in Locked mode..which is a pain in the **bleep**.

Did a software update this morning on my Bold 9900. When I went to Sync, I received a Synchronization Error message as it was synching the calendar. There was no number only an appointment date and event which does not exist in either Outlook 2010 or the Blackberry calendar. Upon receiving the error message, the synch stops. I did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, which went fine. But the problem was not resolved. I deleted all calendar events from the device, then did a replace all calendar events from the computer to the device, but that did not solve the problem.

And it has been a disaster since I received the update thru the Update Software Section on my phone but since then is has only gotten to 3% of the backup. I have restarted the phone several times, and pulled the battery several times and well and left the phone for hours hoping it would get itself together, to only occasionally fine (app error code:603) and yes at this present moment it is still stuck at 3% back up, this is 3rd day.

I didn't have time to do the update then but as I knew it was available I started doing the backups and getting everything ready to update it.Today, as I had time, I tried to do the update only to find that Nokia is now saying that there is no update for my product code. My product code is 0568325 which should be a UK unbranded code so I dont understand why I can't update the firmware.

For the moment I have the firmware 30.0.011.When I check with my mobile if there are new updates, then it says there are no new updates available. When I ckeck on the nokia website with my productcode, it says that I can update to the new firmware. When I connect to my PC (Vista Ultimate 64bit), then it finds the new firmware and wants to update my mobile. During the update, it shuts my mobile down and then gives the error message that he can not find the device. So I disconnect my mobile, restart it and reconnect it. After this I choose to try again with locating my mobile, he finds it and starts with updating again till the part where my mobile is turned off again. So I keep getting stuck in this loop.Anybody knows a solution for this?

However, now, when I open my internet browser it automatically opens full screen which is really not my preference. But when I click "options" it just shuts down.Also when I enter Ovi store now, at first it seems fine but after loading an app page it crashes saying no more than "Something went wrong".
