After playing music from my Blackberry Bold 9780's internal speakers, ALL sounds that come from my Blackberry become distorted. I do a battery pull and it all returns to normal. After playing music again from the internal speakers, the sounds once again become distorted.
View 1 RepliesI've had this phone for about a week now and just noticed that the sound gets distorted when playing music every now and then.
I listen to music on the way to work but after work when I try it, it's cracking/stuttering/skipping, basically unlistenable.
At first I thought it was black player but then the same thing happened on the music app. Different headphones didn't work, it's even happening on the speakers with headphones unplugged. But I've found it is only happening on music as I played a movie at the same time ; the music was shtting itself but the movie audio was fine.
The only sure fix is to restart the phone. Even then, after once I do something else and come back to music, it's all distorted again. Music is on internal storage. Don't have an sd yet...
Whenever I play music through my phone, with or without headphones, there is a sporadic noise that sounds similar to a record skipping, but more distorted. It is not the two tone beep others have posted about, nor is it the usual problem with headphones. The sound occurs in multiple audio apps. The default music player worked fine up until about a week ago (maybe two?), then the noise started. At first, a secondary app worked fine, but today that started making the noise as well. Force quitting the default app worked for a while, stopping the noise when I started the app back up, but now it goes back to the noise almost immediately. What this noise is or how to stop it permanently?
View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently my Iphone 3GS is having problem when playing music. There is no sound from the built-in speaker. However when making/receving calls the sound from the speaker is fine. I noticed that when I press the volume up/down button, there is no volume level indicator position on the screen, the circular button is missing (attached is the screenshot of the situation). However when a headset speaker is plugges in, the volume indicator level appears fine.
I had try restoring the iphone as a new iphone using my mac (from itunes) but the situation persist.
The volume bar when double clicking home button shows momentarily and then disappears and won't play music or make the type sounds or anything like that. Only plays music when a 3.5 mm jack is used an still won't play music at times. The phone is really slow and annoys me.Have tryed resetting, turning off for long periods of time and updating system software.

I've hated this phone for a long time now and am patiently waiting until I can upgrade in January, but now on top of everything else wrong with it, the speaker seems to be having a major issue. The other day I got a call, and the ringtone had a loud hissing and distortion sound to it like it has a heavy bass turned all the way up. When I answered, the same thing. You can barely understand the person on the other end because of the distortion when someone talks. It's hard to explain.
I've tried turning down the volume really low, I've changed the speaker settings using the service codes. Nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem or do you know if there is a way to fix this yourself? Also, If I take it to an AT&T store can they repair it, and any idea how much it would cost if they could? I really don't want to pay full price for a phone now, but if it's gonna cost a lot to fix this one, I might as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
My phone has decided to start playing sounds at startup, shutdown and when I plug in my headphone. It will do this in the Silent and All Alerts Off profile as well.how I can get it to stop?
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy iPhone 6 Plus is less than a 2 weeks old but since day one its speaker sounds distorted.  The ringer or alerts or even the new email alert have a popping or clangy sound to them. Is this a software issue or hardware? My phone is uptodate and Ive tried hard reboots to try to alleviate the problem but it didn't fix the problem. Should I try to restore it?Â

Even on 100% volume is kind of low....it is comparable to my N86 on 60-70%. Is there a way to increase the volume?(I use the same in ear headphones on both phones)

Is there any kind of way to have my music playing in the background while I'm playing a game, without it stopping everytime I start over?? I don't think I ever listened to muisc the past while gaming; if I did, I don't remember. When I'm playing BUBBLE SHOOTER, NOT BrickBreaker (sorry errbdoy, I put dwn the wrong name), the music plays until I hit the 'Start New Game' button. It just pauses. I've tried putting my phone on Vibrate and even Silent, but it still cuts off. Ring tones, incoming text message beeps, etc. just stop working.When I go into the sounds options to preview ringtones, etc. and click play, the play button goes from play, to stop, immediately, regardless of how long the tune is supposed to be.The only thing I've found to fix it, is to pull the battery.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI've had my Motorola Electrify since the middle of November last year and didn't really notice it too much for atleast a couple months, but recently if I dont reboot my phone for more than 2 days, and sometimes sooner than that, it will stop playing any notification sounds and just now it didn't even play any ring sound at all when I just received a call. It vibrated, but didn't play any sound. This is getting frustrating. I have even factory reset my phone a few weeks ago because of other things, and it still hasn't fixed this issue. In fact it seems to be getting worse. At first it was SOME notification sounds after 4 or 5 days not rebooting, now its all notification AND ring sounds after just a couple days. I have the app "Tasker" installed and have sounds associated with some profiles, but don't really think thats the problem because its not just sounds associated with the app, its system events too, like receiving a call, etc.

Of course, this can be done by just playing repeatedly high pitched sounds, which, depending on the kind of mosquito you want to get rid off, may be in the range from 14 to 25 KHz.
Since I don't know whether playing so highly pitched sounds for a long time could damage the phone, I've asked the Italian support. They looked confused, indeed.
At first, they asked which app was I asking about and said that, anyway, all apps from the Market "are developed and managed directly by Google" (sic).
Then, when I pointed out that, put aside the fact that apps in the Market are not being developed by Google, I wasn't talking about apps and software but of particular sounds and hardware, they escalated the question to their technical department.
I was asked again which app I wanted information about (!!) and then, after telling again that I meant nothing more than playing a 14-25 KHz-pitched mp3 for a long time, they answered that no, that may not harm the phone but they couldn't be 100% sure.
I've asked them about the audio playback hardware, about who produced it and whether those latter could answer. The final answer, that they suppose is enough to close my ticket, is that "nobody could say for sure that playing high-pitched tones for a long time wouldn't damage the phone".
This is a nonsense to me, since hardware must have technical specs. Does Motorola International have got a better answer?
I've been having issues with my bb, while bbming and listening to music via the media player, minutes and even sometimes seconds after putting a song on my BB freezes up and reboots itself. I searched the forums for the exact same issue and didn't come across a thread. If anyone has any ideas or possibly a link to the solution feel free to toss err in.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI am facing a trouble with the home screen wallpaper. I have few pictures on the BB bold 9900 and when I open those pictures they are getting opened in the right format(size).
But when I select them for my wallpapers they are getting distorted as BB is accepting them with larger(Zoom) size.I checked the default images(Autumn,detail,Droplet etc) on the phone as well and found that it is getting distorted as I have zoomed it but in actual I have not. The same way wallpapers images are getting saved with Zoomed size.I have done the reset wallpapers on the home screen preference option and also tried to reset settings as well but still no success. Is there any way to get the wallpapers in the normal size rather than zoomed size.
When I go to the music player and select a song to play, I get a message that tells me to plug in my headphones. The issue is that my headphones are plugged in. I didn't have this issue a week ago. I was listening to my music just fine. I have rebooted the device several times already. The weird thing is that I can hear the boot up sounds through my headphones, as well as notifications. I just can't play music. I have the same issue with the FM radio.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI had CWM a couple of years ago but now suddenly Nokia Music says that this computer is not the registered one. It worked couple of days ago and is still the same one. I had to reinstall Win7 a month ago and had to register it as 'new' one but after that it worked flawless.
So those 90 days between changing of computer has not passed yet.
Is there any way to stop the music from playing in the Music App on the iPhone other than pausing or turning the volume down?

Running v7.1.0.205 on my Bold 9900 and images (sized to 640x480 in PS) are not correctly displayed on the screen. I seem to be losing about 10-15% of the right hand side and rather less on the bottom of the image. Am I correct in assuming that the wallpaper should fill the entire screen to the above resolution?

But today, having refreshed the Music Library after installing Pipemania from OVI Store, I found out that its sound files are all there, among songs. I most certainly don't want to hear some splashing water in my shuffle, so I need to find a way to hide them from the library.
