Like the title says I have the white battery red x 50% of the time on a battery pull. And the only way to fix is a finger flick against the volumn side of the phone, it is dumb but works. But I would like to not do this anymore. Any thoughts would be good. I am running 7.1 with virgin mobile in canada.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my BB Torch to BB Bold 9900 one month ago and have this strange problem which I did not have with my former BB.I have two accounts on my BB that is my work email and my private.My work email works just fine but my private one is acting very strange. This is what is going on:
1.I can send email from my account
2.I receive spam mail
3.But I DO NOT GET MY NORMAL WHITE LISTED MAIL
I have tried to set it up again, not worked, I have wiped the phone and then set it up again same problem.Just to be clear that I did not have this problem with the BB torch.I am receiving my mail to the web-mail and as per my provided then all is fine with my account. Then I talk to my IT dpt and they say nothing wrong with BB server.

Does anybody have any idea on how to fix this? Bear in mind i cant connect to Blackberry Software Desktop because for some reason it wont recognise my device, i want to state the phone hasnt been dropped and hasnt been near any water, it just randonly went white.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI upgraded from my old faithful Bold 9700 to a 9360 and found its battery life to be very poor, I updated the firmware which helped a bit but it was still poor so I then upgraded to the 9900 and it is even worse. I can lose 20-30% of my battery in under an hour with little use. I et a maximum of about 4 hours out with moderate use.

View 1 Replies View Relatedi've had this happen to my 8900, and thought there was something wrong with the phone, but after doing a official update from t-mobile on mt 9700 the same thing happens. whe doing a battery pull and the phone reboots. only on the main screen (the screen with all the apps and folders) the screen is completely blank or white and the only way i can see the folders or apps is by highlighting them. only happened after i updated it and only happens when doing a battery pull, once i reset the wall paper it will be fine until i do another battery pull. i already uninstalled and reinstalled my blackberry desktop and try to reload and that didn't fix it. anyone had this issue or know how to fix it.

I loaded all the latest updated, only have Wifi turned on, and one weather app., no downloads. Sunday I was a home and only opened it the phone 5-6 times, did not make a single phone call, and received only 5-6 e-mail. It was still drained after 12 hours. This is the 3rd BB I have had in 7 years and the first with this problem, use my last blakc berry over 3000 minutes a month and receive 50+ mails a day, and the battery lasted a day or two no problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900 which I just bought 3 months ago. It has been fine over the last 2 months however the last month its been giving a lot of problems. While I was using it the screen went black and I tried to restart it (power back on and taking out the battery and sticking it back it) but the red led light would come on and it would not power up. After sticking it on the charger the red light would come on for 1 minute, then the battery sign would show saying that it is charging but after 1 minute, it would show a red X mark on the battery symbol and it would not power on. I have gone through this process 2 times (I have bought 2 JM1 batteries for the device from blackberry) however it still gives the same problem. I sent it to a phone repair shop and they gave it a try. They say that the batteries are fine, but the blackberry is not able to hold in the charge and has a problem with charging it.
