May 4, 2012i've just got my Blackberry bold 9900, However when trying to transfer a call, and select complete transfer, it says cal transfer failed, I've searched around for help via google but can't seem to find anything.

Then when you either leave the vehicle & go out of range OR turn the vehicle off, wait until the Bold 9900 shows you that the connection was terminated, restart the vehicle & the radio announces that "PAIRING FAILED". Every time you enter the vehicle you have to manually pair the radio & phone, very inconvienient.

Jun 4, 2012I've been working on this now (i.e., researching blogs, google, etc.) for hours and it is NOT going well! I have a new Blackberry Bold 9900 that I need to sync with MS Office Outlook 2007, particularly the contacts and calendar. I am using OS7.1 Bundle 921 (v 7.1.0.267 Platform 5.1.0.230) and Desktop Manager. The config setting in DM for Contacts Account shows only Windows Contacts, with no option to change to Outlook. When I then attempt to sync, the process wants to add all the contacts in my BB to some unknown address book on the computer. My BB shows my BB contacts as "default", whatever that is. My frustration is mounting exponentially. I am a converted iPhone user that really wants to give RIM a chance, but this isn't going so well.

Jul 26, 2010After my most recent sync with my Toshiba Satellite laptop, all of my old appointments disappeared. I think that there was an option to do this and I am sure that I did not do this intentionally. It has never happened before on previous syncs. I am running software 7.1 Bundle 998 but do not have Outlook on my laptop. I am pretty sure everything is backed up in a .bbb file from the date of this sync. The question is how do I restore all of these old appointments to my calendar from this file or elsewhere.

Jul 21, 2010Just wondering if your bold drops calls as frequently as mine does. it seems that sometimes the phone decides to act up and gives me a 'call failed' message whenever i try to make a phone call. I always check how many bars i have and its usually at 4 or 5. sometimes a battery pull fixes this, but other times, the problem is persistent. my old bold 9000 had the same problem, so i'm not sure if it's at&t or blackberries in general.

Jun 15, 2012I recently allowed Blackberry to update its software on my computer. When I next ran it, it asked for a name for the files on the computer with which to sync. It offered Brant and Outlook (not Outlook1, which I also have for e-mail). I do not understand what it is asking for and have tried both Brant and Outlook. It will not syncronize. With Brant selected, it will not even try. With Outlook selected, it tries and then tells me that it can no sync a calendar entry, then stops.
Can I go back to the old software?

Now, when I plug in via USB port to sync music and run data, MotocastUSB loads, but the message at the bottom of the screen says "Connect your Device" and all of the indicators say 0GB available. When I press the Sync button, I get a Sync complete message with Media sync:failed. Fitness sync: successful. When i then press the Sync History button, I get the message Music:writeCommandToDevice failed. No connection to device. Info for MotoAcrv indicates 10.26 GB of space available.

Changed the watch to local time, and did another run - now I'm getting "Fitness data sync failed." The motoactv software tells me to check the logs for more details. I do. More details = "Fitness data sync failed.". Not a very helpful 'more details'. I'm assuming this has something to do with the time change, but upon setting the time back to Eastern, it still fails.

I've synced many times over the past four weeks both ways without any trouble, but after today's run, I tried to sync and nothing happens.
