If I press the button on top of my Bold 9790, the screen will go to sleep (like it's supposed to) but only to two seconds... Then it awakes again.. Can some explain this?And possibly a solution to fix it as well? I just bought it 2 weeks ago, not a scratch on it...

Have had my Nexus 5 for 4 days, and i noticed the other day that when i press the sleep button the power-down screen animation no longer happens. i dont really know the official term but it looks like an old CRT TV turning off, thats the best way i can describe it. so instead the screen just goes black. This really is not a problem just something i noticed and was curious about.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI got my iPhone 4s last September and since then I've updated the firmware twice hoping that would solve the problem but it didn't. When I hold an app to delete it, it does start to wriggle immediately but when I press the delete button it takes more than 15 seconds for the are you sure message to pop up. I don't normally delete apps so I keep forgetting that that bug is there but when I do delete apps its when I urgently need space to take a video or something so when it takes me over ten minutes to just delete a couple of apps and yes it doesn't happen for just one delete it happens for each delete. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 the freeze time decreased a bit to 15-30 seconds it used to be longer but I could really use a permenant fix for this.

Does anyone know why it takes my Atrix so long to wake sometimes? There are times I will hit the power button and I can count off one thousand one, one thousand two, up to one thousand six before the screen will light up and then it lights up for just a second and then it goes dark like it has timed out because of inactivity.It is a real wonderful feature when I am showing off my state of the art, top of the line, Android Flagship Motorola phone to people.It does this regularly if I have not used the phone for more than an hour or so and sometimes it will happen sporadically during periods where I check the phone every few minutes, like when I am expecting important emails.
I did a factory reset and removed all of the factory bloatware apps and updated my phone so that it is current on .83.I did not put any apps onto the phone, I left it alone, just set up my accounts.And the phone still has the problem with the long wake cycles.So I went ahead and put my apps back on my phone.Oh, and I tried with and without the SD card in the phone as well. Checking all possible variables.So does anyone else enjoy such long awakening cycles or am I the lucky one here? Does my Atrix need to go on permanent vacation at the AT&T store while I acquire a replacement? Or is this the nature of all Android devices and I should just suck it up?
I was trying to capture the northern lights... recommended exposure is 15 secs. the camera did ok with four but would have been fabulous at 15 or 30
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone have issues using their Bold 9790 outside, in the open air, when there is a breeze/wind blowing? Or even in the car if the air vents are blowing, even slightly? Whenever I am outside, even if there is hardly any wind, I am unable to send any kind of messages or scroll through menus, as the 'cursor' keeps going back up to the very top of the phone. So if I am trying to send a message, it scrolls right back to the oldest message. I have gone into the settings and made the sensitivity as low as it will go, but it makes no difference.

View 6 Replies View Relatedsince i bought this phone in April, its always been giving me SOS mode except for when i orient the phone in a certain way, in certain spots of my room. Other that that, i can't go anywhere in the house, its just SOS. I bought the phone with WIND Mobile. Thinking it was WIND that had the problem, i unlocked the phone to try it with Fido. It's confirmed that it is NOT the wireless carrier that has the problem, its the actual phone itself.
I don't want to believe that I spent $400 to buy the phone and its nothing but an expensive paper weight.

I would do a battery pull and it would be back to 80 or 85 percent. I bought a new genuine blackberry battery to see if that was the issue but still same problems. I wiped the device and re-installed the original os from desktop manager twice and the problem is still there, very frustrating, any one have the same issue and managed to fix it?
Three weeks ago I got my BB 9790 and I am very happy! Only thing is, it keeps rebooting (about 3 times a week) . I have changed phones 3 times now (within 8 days I get a new phone) but I have the same problem each time. Probably a software thing? Are there any others that have the same problem and maybe a solution?

how to fix the jvm 545 error. I tried to use the desktop manager to update the OS or reinstall, however, it does not give the option to reload the OS. The message only says: no update available and option to subscribe to new OS release.
