Galaxy S5 :: Restarting For 20 Minutes Before Successfully Powering On
Jul 1, 2015So I just factory reset my phone due to issues with the lollipop udate, and the factory reset resolved them. The other day I went to unlock the phone, and the numbers on the unlock screen were all little white squares, weird I thought, so I reset the phone. It went to restart, got to the galaxy s5 screen and restarted again and again never getting past the gs5 screen. Tried to boot it into recovery, but same issue. I ended up just leaving it rebooting, and about 20 mins later it finally came on. 2 days ago the squares showed up again so I rebooted, and same thing.

Jun 10, 2010Phone is completely unusable at this point. When powering up, the progress bar goes to about 75% complete and then freezes. I cant find any information on this problem on the website but maybe I am not phrasing my problem correctly. Anyone have any suggestions on this besides throwing it out and getting a different phone?

Aug 7, 2012I had loads of advice about batteries and apps running but have cancelled camthem out through a process of elimination.
My phone powers of randomly but most noticeably after a call or when i have it connected via Bluetooth in the car with no apperant reason.
I have drop my phone into my service provider twice. The first time i was given a new phone and once i left the shop the new one did the exact same thing. The second time it came back from repair and reported with no issue. It worked fine for about an hour and then started to power off just like before.
BB Bold 9700 :: Lost All Media After Powering Up
Jan 3, 2010My 9700 was being real buugy, not allowing me to open a sms text. So I powered the phone off then back on. I wanted to add some music, when I looked in the music folder I noticed all of my media had been deleted. Not real happy with RIM. I guess this is why the BB is known for being a work tool and not a media device.

Sep 8, 2010I have a Bold 9900 which I just bought 3 months ago. It has been fine over the last 2 months however the last month its been giving a lot of problems. While I was using it the screen went black and I tried to restart it (power back on and taking out the battery and sticking it back it) but the red led light would come on and it would not power up. After sticking it on the charger the red light would come on for 1 minute, then the battery sign would show saying that it is charging but after 1 minute, it would show a red X mark on the battery symbol and it would not power on. I have gone through this process 2 times (I have bought 2 JM1 batteries for the device from blackberry) however it still gives the same problem. I sent it to a phone repair shop and they gave it a try. They say that the batteries are fine, but the blackberry is not able to hold in the charge and has a problem with charging it.

Aug 24, 2012Does anyone have issues using their Bold 9790 outside, in the open air, when there is a breeze/wind blowing? Or even in the car if the air vents are blowing, even slightly? Whenever I am outside, even if there is hardly any wind, I am unable to send any kind of messages or scroll through menus, as the 'cursor' keeps going back up to the very top of the phone. So if I am trying to send a message, it scrolls right back to the oldest message. I have gone into the settings and made the sensitivity as low as it will go, but it makes no difference.

Oct 30, 2012since i bought this phone in April, its always been giving me SOS mode except for when i orient the phone in a certain way, in certain spots of my room. Other that that, i can't go anywhere in the house, its just SOS. I bought the phone with WIND Mobile. Thinking it was WIND that had the problem, i unlocked the phone to try it with Fido. It's confirmed that it is NOT the wireless carrier that has the problem, its the actual phone itself.
I don't want to believe that I spent $400 to buy the phone and its nothing but an expensive paper weight.
BB Bold :: 9790 Rebooting OS 7.1?
Oct 28, 2012I have had my 9790 for 3 months and about 2 weeks ago I updated the os to 7.1. After I did this I started to have this issue where it would start to reboot on its own, sometimes once a day, sometimes 5 or 6 times in a row and it would drain the battery. Also I noticed the battery level on the screen isn't reflective of what the battery level actually is, it would go from full to red in seconds. its really drive me crazy.
I would do a battery pull and it would be back to 80 or 85 percent. I bought a new genuine blackberry battery to see if that was the issue but still same problems. I wiped the device and re-installed the original os from desktop manager twice and the problem is still there, very frustrating, any one have the same issue and managed to fix it?

Mar 19, 2012Three weeks ago I got my BB 9790 and I am very happy! Only thing is, it keeps rebooting (about 3 times a week) . I have changed phones 3 times now (within 8 days I get a new phone) but I have the same problem each time. Probably a software thing? Sep 13, 2012how to fix the jvm 545 error. I tried to use the desktop manager to update the OS or reinstall, however, it does not give the option to reload the OS. The message only says: no update available and option to subscribe to new OS release.
