BB Bold 9700 :: Net_rim_font_japanese In Downloads Folder
Apr 19, 2010
I updated my 9700 with Desktop Manager. I added the Japanese input method during the update, however, there are now 2 files (net_rim_font_japanese, net_rim_font_japanese_droid) stuck in my Downloads folder. Japanese input method does not work as well. I tried loading the desktop manager again, but I am not able to remove/delete them. Does anyone have any idea on how to remove the input, or make it work without wiping the unit?
I have downloaded some wallpapers and screensavers from this site and others. But now i can not find them anywhere. I gave them names and saved them on my sd card. But how can i see whats on the card.
I am downloading applications from anywhere just as the Blackberry apps, facebook, etc. I can't find them in downloads or applications, & i am sure no hiden files too. What can i do?
My contract with orange on my old blackberry (i forgot what it was but it was the blackberry with the ball instead of the square scroll)Anyway when i was told i can have a blackberry 9700 i jumped at the chance and i was told everything will have the same settings etc.I got all my contacts thanks to the helpful orange staff however i can't seem to work my internet and email like i used to.Before i could access the internet no matter where i was as long as there was a signal, but as soon as i'm out of range from my wireless at home, it stops working. This is frustrating because i didn't know how to fix it.Another problem was, when i tried downloading apps, it kept saying that the blackberry 9700 bold do not support them. This means i cannot go on msn.I also need the GPS for tomorrow because i'm heading to London tomorrow and i only had time today to really try to find a solution to this pesky problem.I've had this phone for about 2-3 weeks now.
When I click on them, I have to individually download each (the phone just comes with the links/logos), but I only have use for one game and three downloads (starred). How do I get rid of the rest in my games and downloads folders? I've tried deleting them with BlackBerry Desktop Manager, but the links/logos still show up... The games I have: Brick Breaker* Tony Hawk Vert Guitar Hero 5 Mobile Bubble Bash 2 Brain Challenge Vol. 2 Tetris Demo Where's Waldo? Demo Need for Speed Shift Demo PAC-MAN / Ms. PAC-MAN DEMO Texas Hold'Em King 2 Word Mole Sudoku Klondike The downloads I have: Twitter MySpace AccuWeather.com Premium v4.0 nuTsie Music PrimeTime2Go TeleNav GPS Navigator ToneMaker Demo Traffic Try AllSport GPS Facebook* T-Mobile My Account WHERE Save Photos BlackBerry App World* Slacker Radio*
I am running .423 on my 9700 and cannot find the right option to combine my SMS/MMS messages in the Message Folder. With 405 I was able to go Menu>Options and see a dialog box to combine folders, but I can't find it under .423
I am trying to find a way to delete with a single tap all the pdf files, thumbnails and other files which end up in my Downloads folder. I have Cleanmaster, but this won't let you choose what to clean. I also have ES File Explorer which will let me access the folder and delete the files, but I'd rather have this process more automated.
So I emailed myself a pdf file to save and instead of having to refer to the email when i need it, i downloaded it, but don't seem to have a download icon available to get to that folder. Is there such a thing as a Documents or Download folder that I can create a shortcut to on my GS5 home screen?
I copied the contents of my phone to my laptop, then did a factory reset on my device. I copied all the data back to my phone after, but when I open the downsloads folder there are no files in there. On the phone itself it shows 229MB of data there, but I cannot see it on my phone. I can open it on my laptop tho. how I can view the files on my phone again?
I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 a week ago. Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.
I've just got a new white Bold 9700, and put a 16gb memory card in it from my Curve 8310. I dunno if that's what's caused it, but now I can't see my message folders on the Bold - be that the BBM, text, or my three email accounts. I'm still getting email notifications. What I've done to cause them to hide, and how I can get them back?
I just got a Bold 9700. With an OS v5.0.I have a corporate email set up through "Enterprise Activation" and I have set up my personal emails through the Email Wizard. The problem is: all the emails go to the Main Inbox. So in the Main Inbox, I have a mix of corporate emails and personal emails. The wizard also created different inbox for my personal emails, so I can access them individualy. But there is no way for me to get the personal emails out of the Main Inbox. Or creating a new Inbox for the Corporate emails.
I was attempting to move an icon on my Downloads panel to my media folder, and I highlighted it and pressed the menu button, when the entire panel suddenly went blank.

my friend is experiencing severe errors on her bb 9700.
1. She cannot open any Pictures in her Media Folder. She can see the thumb nails but when she tries to open it to view nothing happens. Also when she clicks on the Menu button nothing happens either.
2. She can also play music on her phone but when she clicks the menu button nothing happens as well. therefore she is unable to send or receive music.
3. Also when she tries to change her BBM Picture she is unable to
4. When She puts on her bb the following error notification is seen: Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Her OS was downgraded to the OS that came with the phone 5.0.0.330 by her Carrier due to some bluetooth issues she was experiencing: that is she was unable to pair. Since the downgrade the issue never arose. We tried to Update her OS yesterday to the latest official release 5.0.0.743 to see if this would help but after we launched apploader it said that they were unable to automatically back up her information and the update was aborted. If there is another way to manually backup the phone can you please let us know?
also if anyone knows any solution to these problems, please respond. Any input would be truly appreciated.
All my email folders have names (ie the email address). However one of them has (-1) in front of the email address (a google one). I have not seen this before. Has anyone else experienced the phenomena?
Just got a Bold 9700 and my previous Bold used to have the option to have all Mail Accounts and SMS in a Single Folder on the BB desktop. Can someone tell me how to do this, the option has gone from within the menu to set all Mail Accounts to combined.I'm sorry if this is a known issue, I did see a post about SMS and MMS but there was no mention of E-Mail.

On my Clients brand new Blackberry Bold 9700 I can not find the task/memo folders. This bb is on BES and everything else is synced. I have talked to AT&T and they have not idea were it could be. I have also wiped the device clean and restarted the BES setup and that did nothing. Does anyone have any ideas.?
Basically when i go to my GMAIL folder when i receive emails, it shows no message. But it does appear in Message folder (both folders show the new mail counts). In the GMAIL folder if i change filter to label "Inbox" the new mail is there. The default label for GMAIL folder is "ALL MAIL" though. I don't have any filter setup so I'm not sure why the mail would only show up in Inbox but not in All Mail.
how do i stop pictures that i've put into folders from coming up when i click 'all pictures?' My boyfriend has a blackberry and the only pictures that come up when he clicks 'all pictures' are the ones he hasn't got in any folder. Is there a way that i can do the same thing? It's a little irritating, to be honest.
I use SMS for work and need to keep saved sent and received messages. I am getting SIM memory full message. How do I move the SMS saved folder to the SD card?
