Download One Theme - 18 Icon BlackBerry 9700
Sync with Yahoo Contacts
Sync with Lotus Notes Calendar Only.
Back Up
WiFi connection to home router
Bluetooth headset
Currently i have the bb 9700 for tmobile does it come with the newest os?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI had my Bold 9700 delivered from Saudi Arabia. I was absolutely in love with the phone with its incredible speed and my favorite thing about it was the 3G network. It worked absolutely great in Egypt. When I moved back to the US (Ive been here 3 days now), I can only use T-Mobiles EDGE network. If I search manually for networks, it finds AT&Ts 3G network, but I cant use it since Im T-Mobile and not AT&T. When I went to the T-Mobile store, they told me that since T-Mobile didnt sell me the phone, my phone wouldnt find their 3G network. Any idea what I can do to fix this? The phone is brand new, and its a shame that I cant use its best feature
View 4 Replies View RelatedWas able to log in google talk, yahoo messenger, etc. I tried to log into msn messenger and double check my username and password and it is correct. Check to see if I have the service book for msn messenger and I do. The error for messenger is: "connection error 65: problem receiving data from the server." Any1 have this problem also on t-mo and know how to fix it?

View 11 Replies View RelatedAlways maintained a very strong 3g signal, 5 bars always no matter where I was. The last 3 or 4 days my signal started dropping like crazy to EDGE - edge - to gps or whatever to no signal. Did everything to try and fix it. Called T-Mobile about the problem and they said no problem we are sending you a new 9700. I will have it Wednesday afternoon. I asked if it will be a new one or refurbished, she said a new one. You can't beat that with a stick. They have the best customer service out of all the carriers. Just wanted to tell my recent experience with my carrier.

I called Tmobile and was told that while they no longer support it, it could be done but that Tmobile would not provide me with directions to do so. Is there anyone out there that can give a technology challenged nerd like me step by step instructions to tether my 9700 to my pc with Windows vista. View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a unlock blackberry 9700 from Tmobile. I am trying to get it to work with my Canadian Bell sim card. However it does not pick up any kind of signal. It shows a red sos signal on the top right hand corner. My phone does pick up wifi signal but no mobile network signals, not even Edge. Please help I am in dire need of a working blackberry while I am in Canada.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIt's only been 1 month & I'm already on my 2nd Blackberry 9700 with Tmobile. I'm running v5.0.0.330. Since day one, I've experienced severe dropped calls that I've never experienced with Tmobile. Severe to the point that I can be on a 30 minute conversation & the call will drop at least twice. I was once on an hour long conversation that kept getting interrupted by 5 dropped calls.
Add to that, there's another Tmobile user in my household who uses the Google phone & no dropped calls at all, which tells me that it's not my coverage area that's causing the dropped calls.I'm also getting dropped calls when I'm speaking to different callers using different carriers & not just those with a specific service provider.
So, I'm convinced that it's the BB 9700 problem. It may even be that this 3G phone is in conflict with the stystems or non-3G users. Nevertheless, I'm so fed up and wanted to know if this is a problem that other BB 9700 users are experiencing. If so, who's your carrier? Has anyone upgraded your OS and if so, has it fixed the issue or have you experienced problems after the upgrade?

View 1 Replies View Relatedover the weekend i unlocked all of the vendor themes, so i have ATT's, Rogers, TIM, and some other native themes on my US T-Mobile branded phone. I brought up the ATT theme and put it on my phone. everything is "ATT" about the theme with the exception of the "t-mobile" as my network ID at the top of the phone.
and i started walking down a local mall when a "t-mobile" rep working at a kiosk stopped me and said hey what phone do you have, it's hidden in that big otter box...so i said i had a t-Mobile 9700.. .. .. and i pulled it out of the holster to show him... so he said " that "ATT" on the wall paper, and that theme isn't ours or 3rd party... ... ... thats ATT's theme" so i said "Yea it is, i like how the boxes don't fade away....". he looked at me like i was joking with him..then i showed him that i have Rogers/Orange/TIM and the others. Pretty classic look on his face when he saw an ATT theme on T-Mobile phone.
i recently upgraded to the 9700 and since the day i got the phone i get alot of dropped calls full bars and full 3g but the calls will drop is anyone else dealing with this problem if so is there something with the device i can do im in ohio by the way
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have an unactivated Blackberry 9650. I popped the tmobile sim card that was in my blackberry 9700 into the unactivated 9650 and forced it to 2g. I can call and sms but no data services.
I have two questions:
1. Do I have to tweak the settings?
2. Would this work if the blackberry 9650 was activated on the sprint now network?
I have a Tmobile branded BB 8520 unlocked and i put a att sim card in it. I have a data plan with att. It only shows small edge on the top by the service bar 'edge' I want to make the bb messenger work on this phone.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded my wife's Verizon Tour to the Bold since she hated the trackball and wanted a trackpad instead. Several times while she's had the phone at work on her desk, plugged in and charging, it has shown SOS where the signal meter is and she lost all service. No phone calls, no email or messenger, etc. She went into manage connections and it showed T-Mobile as the wireless network one day, and AT&T another day, but this is a Verizon phone. How can that happen?

I used to get around 36hours use out of it before charging but in the last week I been only able to get 3 - 4 hours max before it is completely drained. I purchased another battery and upgraded the Android OS to the lastest version but am still experiencing the same behaviour (short battery life).

They recieved it on the 6th and on the 7th and 8th it was being used. I have a 1 GB plan. My question to matt is if they are using my GB to test it (or perhaps checking their facebook account and downloading ***) am I going to get billed for that usage and the overcharges. we are living in the times when internet is in our pockets. yet we have a crippled web browsing experience. without full flash support, we are unable to do most of the work, communication, information gathering, nor enjoying entertainment sites.in the modern days of internet where speed is the most important issue, website developers just can't deal with mobile versions of websites. not even the biggest sites, like cnn have a capable and usable mobile site.
yet, our mobile phones, such as nokia 5800 (and also the rest of the communicator-like phones) with a serious browsing capability is discriminated because the websites recognize them as "mobile" phones. most of the time you're not even able to browse the "normal" website and get the same experience to move around and even see the same information on your mobile phone.
i'm also experiencing browser application issues. freezes, hungs, because the site cannot coop with the disabled flash light. it starts to load the data, you able to see the flash box and then the browser just stops working. after a long time of exercise on different sites, such as Internet i'm convinced that flash 10 even bring our browser to its knees. the new flash 10 videos totally killing the browser on my nokia phone. and this is not firmware, not memory nor website related problems. it's incompatibility where the site and the browser just unable to coop.time to fix and update browsers in nokia smart phones including 5800!
get rid of discriminating our mobile devices as a"crippled" internet browser and give us the full web-experience.i was a faithfull nokia owner in the past 10 years (!!!!). i spent a lot of money on my phones. i always bought them even with limited information on the capabilities because i was trustful about the quality and feature-rich products. however if this issue will not be fixed on this particular phone because of whatever reason, be it as technical issue (the phone is not prepared for such internet experience), or be it as a way of lacking in development (never ment to handle such internet experience at all) then i have to leave nokia for good.
this is not "silly warning" or an angry and frustrating finger pointing. it just the fact that if nokia forcing me to swap phone, then i cannot trust a company with such business decisions to limit the timespan of their phone in such a way, that would generate more money for them. if this is not the case and we able to finally use our phone as it should work since the beginning then we will be the happiest buyers and supporters on earth.
i'm also trying to send this to the customer support in the good hope that finally we will see some advancement on this topic. i think we, the users, were quiet patient up until now (a year or so passed and still no sollution on this).
Is anyone experiencing major lag in the stock gingerbread music player? Changing songs takes forever and it constantly force closes. It's been like this since the update.I do not want to use any third party music player apps.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
With my E71x whenever I activate the driving directions after about 30 seconds I get an error that says "Not available in your country/region" and it goes back to the map. I'm using version 3.01 of nokia maps because 3.03 kept telling me I had no access to install it.
