View 3 Replies View RelatedSo recently my BB storm died so i plugged it in to charge, after a while i came back to it and it wouldn't boot up, it would just continuously reboot. I took it to the verizon store, they didn't help to much. So i came back home tried turning it on and it powered on to a white screen the said "Reload Software, 507" or something like that. So i plugged it in to my computer, launched DM and restored the whole phone back to original .328 OS. After it was done it started working, i was happy until it stopped working again. I let it charge over night and turned it back on in the morning and same thing happened.
I tried the App Loader wizard itself, and i got this message: "The blackberry Desktop software does not have blackberry device software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator."
My blackberry battery died one afternoon and when i started to charge it, the reboot screen kept appearing followed by the red LED light before attempting to reboot again. i have tried installing the new software but it is still rebooting half way stopping, LED light comes on and the whole process continues. the bb is only 2 months old and hasnt been dropped or damaged in any way. could the battery need replaced?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Atrix 2 (on AT&T) operating system was upgraded to 2.3.6 this morning and since then it has been continuously rebooting (going off then on again) every few minutes. I have removed the battery and replaced it. It still did it. I have NOT done a HARD reboot.
I am also getting the "Process system is not responding" error message and a blue bar that says that it is having trouble connecting to the network.
UPDATE:
After hours of rebooting, (I had it charging throughout the time) it has stopped and is acting "normally". I am worried that it will start again and I don't have a fix.
Here I am, 2 weeks later and it started continuously rebooting again. No new updates, no new apps, no new anything. What I did notice was that the battery was below 20%. I have plugged it in and will wait to see if it stops by itself again. The fix described below is requiring too much from a non-technical. I do not have Motoblur. My calendar and contacts are backed up to my gmail account and LOOKOUT.
It continued to reboot for over a day. I went to the AT&T store. They gave me a new phone!
When making calls, the sound will keep continuously cutting out, and the icon in the top left corner will keep flicking back from the headphone icon to the regular icon, even though no headphones are in the jack...
View 4 Replies View RelatedOver night my bb 9700 shut off. when i tried to turn it on, it didnt come on. so i did the battery pull. bb starts to reboot but got half way and went to a white screen. so i do another battery pull and it comes up white screen. another battery pull, starts to reboot and half way through it turns off completely. i am not getting an error message. i have not upgraded my os, have not added anything new to it for over two or three weeks. bb was working great when i went to sleep.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am using BB Bold 9700. I restored my data on my fone via BDM, since after that my device reboots automatically.
I have tried removing battery, also changed battery, i wiped the entire device also but it is still the same problem. While using anything it reboots by self.
I've had my bb bold 9700 for about a wk now & I can't help but to get irritated at the number of times a day it reboots itself. I will say tho, that I'm mainly noticing the problem when I'm using a app such as Pandora. BUT sometimes in the middle of a text or something it'll just reboot WTH is that all about? Any solutions besides taking the phone back? Ps: I'm new to the blackberry world so plz forgive my ignorance if this is something common with all blackberries or if its something I'm doing wrong
I am on my 2nd blackberry 9700 bold on tmboile and have the same issue where it randomly reboots during the day. I don't have any third party apps and have wiped and reinstalled operating system and tried reinstalling the bbm messenger. I primarily use the blackberry group chat on bbm messenger during the day for the phone and am not sure if thats causing the issue because other members of the bbm group chat are not having any issues. The network is 3G for tmobile in chicago, so I doubt if coverage is issue.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIm trying to figure out if i should just return this phone, this is my second bold, "auto focus problem was other problem". I've had this phone for around three months, three or four times it has happened, i will be in the middle of a call and i will hear nothing, i look at the phone and its locked up, then solid red light, then phone reboots. Phone works fine for three or four weeks. i never had this problem with my curve 8320. I think its a app that might be auto updating on its own but wanted to see if anyone else is having same problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9780. It was working fine till this morning until I installed an update for the Tube Map application. After that it automatically restarted and has been continuously doing so without even entering the OS once. In other words, it just keeps restarting itself without actually booting. I tried entering into the safe mode, even that doesn't work!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI thought my problem was a battery enhancer app, so I installed it. That didn't fix it. I used to connect my Jawbone to my Curve 8900 with no problems. I was having a problem with an older Jawbone ( the IKON) and so purchased the ERA. They both behave the same way on my Bold.

View 2 Replies View Relatedjust recently my Bold 9930 has had the habit of rebooting whenever I plug it into either my car outlet, or the charger that came with the phone. It doesn't happen all the time, but I'd say it happens about 25% of the time I go to plug the phone in.I'm running the highest official OS (7.1.0.580) on Verizon, and did not experience this issue with the previous OS. I didn't experience this issue right after I upgraded, it was about 3 weeks after that update came out, and nothing happened to the phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
My observation is that REBOOT issue some how related to battery level reader s/w or something. because as soon as battery level goes below 80%(approx), device start rebooting and after some reboots it shows battery level in "red'.
Remove battery put back and 80% cases reboot cycle stops and battery level is normal. However it remains for some time only. try to make/recv call and it starts rebooting again.
My Bold 9900 reboots at random. I have tried reloading the latest software having read various KB articles, but no improvement.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my Bold 9790 and update it from 7 to 7.1 as soon as I got it.Since the beginning, I had been having random reboots over and over without any clear reason. It happens suddenly while texting, using BBM or WhatsApp and sometimes after a phone call, it even reboots when I am not using it at all (during the night when I'm asleep).
