View 4 RepliesI am trying to figure out how to create a group so I can just select the group when I am sending certain e-mail.I have created a group in the address book but the only way to select that group is when I am going to send MMS.I have tried selecting it for e-mail and it doesn't work.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?
I ran the new update on my Bold 9650 & now I am unable to receive mail. Went in to the setup / email accounts & every time I select it - it freezes & I have to turn the phone off! Is there another way to setup my email account?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased the 9650 bold a few weeks ago. I do not do a lot of texting, but when I do, the texts are pretty long. On my old BB I hit the back arrow key and it saved to draft, (i would often have 4-5 texts in draft before I sent all out) If im not mistaken you cant do this on the new 9650?? Do I need to get an application to assist with this? ANy suggestions? Sorry if this is a rookie question but...Im a rookie when it comes to these phones.

But one problem i'am having trouble with sending and receiving text messages. I have called att customer care numerous times and powered cycled my phone as many times as I can count but still nothing, I have also checked to see if the "service center" number is correct and it is, I still have no clue what it could be. When i send an sms text message and scroll up to the message it says "sent" and the date and time but i ask the recipient if he/she has received the text but still nothing.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently switched from an iphone 4 to an LG G3 and have been unable to consistently receive group messages from iphone users. Sometimes messages will come through, but about 95% of the time I do not receive them; however, the people in my group do receive my messages. I am aware that this is a common issue among Android users, and I have read about it extensively online for weeks now, but I still have not come up with a solution. I have tried using multiple different messaging apps including the default messaging app, chomp sms, textra, hangouts, etc. I have also turned off imessages on my old phone, typed in the code for Apples "unsubscribe" from imessage thing, and texted STOP to the number to disable imessages.
I am running the latest version of Android. I also replaced my old SIM but still no luck. MMS group message settings are all enabled on my phone too. I didn't see a post about this in regards to the LG G3 specifically so I decided to make one. I have heard suggestions of people saying to tell your iphone friends to adjust settings on their phones, but I wanted to find a solution without having to tell all of my friends to mess with their settings to accommodate me. I absolutely love everything about my new android phone after making the switch from Apple, but this one problem is seemingly large that I hope it doesn't force me to go back to an iphone.
I'm having two issues with texting on my Blackberry Bold 9700.
1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
I can't send group text on my lumia 800. I tried turning off the group text in settings, then I also tried turning it on but still I could not send group text, the message is "can't send try again".

When they are selected, either the mail, or the aol.com icon, my texts message history is what appears. It is like there has been a disconnect between the icon and the application.

Anyways I was just wondering what it could mean cuz the arrow stays there for hours and nothing comes in like an sms, mms, phone call, etc. I've done battery pulls to get rid of the arrow.

When I receive a multimedia group text, the texts only show the originators number and not the other Group numbers.
This phone is a SAMSUNG GALAXY 6, using Android 5.0.2
Other suggested truning on Group Conversation or Group Messaging in the settings , but that option does not appear.
The instructions I received are below , but like I said, it did not show up on the settings.Is there a difference in the Android versions that would cause the menu to be different or the setting to located somewhere else?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have sprint as a carrier and my phone doesnt receive text at all from at&t phones at times but mostly from iphones. this is my third blackberry that has had this problem, i for some apparent reason just cant receive any text that are coming from iphones and it just puzzles me why. i can however receive their picture text messages but anything text related i cannot.
Ive tried calling technical support and they help me through some stuff but ultimately i still couldnt receive them. i went into the store and exchanged it several times but it doesnt seem like it matter the same problem keeps on coming up.
How can I save a text message, the whole thing not one portion of the message?
