I have a data package on my carrier but my Blackberry 9700 doesn't read it. I changed the sim and inserted it into another mobile and it works instantly so first of all its got nothing to do with my carrier. Secondly, I erased my BB to the factory settings , have re-installed my software but still the data package doesn't work, All other functions of the phone including wifi are perfectly fine. Have done a software upload,download, All that happened was I received a message of some JVM and the mobile restarted and after nothing has working.
I have Yahoo on my iPhone, right? When I read an email in my Yahoo account on my iPhone, and later log into my Yahoo account, it shows those messages as read. Heck, I can even file my emails away in my folders, if I want to; i.e. move them over to my bills folder, or my purchases folder, or my mom folder.Now, here's the deal with my other account tho. I have my work emails going to my iPhone too. At work, I use Outlook. I do not know a whole lot about how things are set up over here, but I have access to answers if you guys can help me find out the right questions to ask. When I read a work email on my iPhone, and I get to work the next morning, there it is, bold and unread. I really want it to show as read. I get an obnoxious amount of work emails. The whole point in keeping up with them on my phone is to save me time in the long run. So, when I get to work and have to re-read them all, I've saved nothing. I just bought a MicroSD car for my Bold 9700 but when i connect it to the slot, it doesnt seem to be connecting to my phone. Any help? ive also been battery pulling to see if it would connect
I bought a great at&t 9700 today which i tested before i paid for. I got home and noticed the sim card was tough to get in and i forced it. Doing this broke a contact point off in the sim socket giving initialization failed message. I took the phone apart trying to come up with a fix of my own...... no success
-what are my options? i cannot find the main board and the socket is integrated unlike other blackberry models.
Has been 2 days that all my BBM messages only show a D (delivered) above the tick of every messages i sent out. My contacts read and replied and yet it didnt turn to R.
I have a VZW Bold 9650 and I am having a "random reset" issue with my blackberry. Out of nowhere (often just sitting running no programs) my device restarts itself. Sometimes it just gives me a blank white screen and restarts, other times I get an actual error message in that white screen - but it disappears in 0.1 sec, so there is no way to read it. Because the resets are random, I can't emulate them to try to get a picture for example.
Is there a way to read that error message after the device finishes restarting (like an error log of sorts)?
General advice on how to fix this error would also be welcomed (though I think that if I can read the error message, it will be easier to narrow down the cause). I would rather not do a full wipe since I am out of network for now and will be for the next month or so.
More details: Originally VZW, but unlocked (by VZW) to use with other carriers. Currently. Crazy John's in Australia OS6 All programs work well (though my GPS has been weird and often takes 5 min. to find my location)
I recently got a bold 9700 replacing my disfunction old bold 9700. The new OS6 makes it so different. I need to read emails in Chinese . I downloaded and installed Blackberry Desktop Software version 6.0 multi-language. When go to Applications, there are only 7 applications listed. I couldn't find the "East Asian Character and Font Suppor" that I used to add to my old bold 9700.
For a few days now I have been unable to read what I am sending or receiving on my blackberry. I am notified that I have a new message, I go to my inbox, the message isn't moving to the top of my inbox so I have to find it, I can read the first part of the message while I'm still in my inbox, but when I click on the message to read it in full, it's not there! At this point my phone thinks I've read the message so it no longer alerts me about a new message. Same with sent messages, I can type and send them, but they don't appear in the message thread at all.
So I just purchased the BB Bold 9650 last wednesday and I have a quick question. The LED flashes red when I get a new message but if I check back 10 minuter later without reading the message it doesn't flash anymore. How do I keep the LED flashing red until the message is read?
Just wondering if you receive a text message and don't check your phone for say 12 hours does it still show as un-read even if you stay on the text message screen. I know it's a weird question but if someone knows that would be awesome. I am more taking about the image at the top of the screen which shows un-read with the little red Astrix.
When i receive a txt message i have to manually go to messages which says "no messages".it took me ages to work out that i had to click "options" and "view folder" then select "sms inbox" is there not an easier way of looking at my messages, rather than me having to click on loads of things to finally read them.Surely they should just come up straight away? like most phones.I have only just bought the phone and i am new to blackberrys so i'm just learning how to use everything x
First of all, this is not my blackberry - it's a customers device.what is happening is when they recive an email on there BB, it is automaticly marked as being read on outlook when downloaded, regardsless if it has been read on the BB or not.
My blackberry doesn't seem to pick up memory cards I've tried different cards aswel,I've been haviing this problem since I replaced my lcd at a "backdoor" cellphone repair shop.
I got my BB9900 and it worked well initially,now it does not read my media card,i tranferred the media card into anotherb BB and it works perfectly,It also goes screen blank after initiating a call.This fone ids too much of an investment to FFF up so soon.
Last week as a result of email problems, IT deleted and re-created my Blackberry BES user account. This allowed me to re-activate the handheld and emails have been working fine. However, I am receiving read receipts when sending email from the Blackberry, and the settings to enable/disable the receipts are entirely missing from the handheld. OS is version 5.0 (highest version available from my provider).
I have a BB Bold 9700 V 5 and I just noticed that unread messages are not being hiden when I file them on my Outlook client on my PC. I am almost positive that when I filed a message (read or unread) in the past they were removed from my BB handheld.
Anyone know how to hide ALL filed messages and not just the read ones? BTW The setting in Email Options>General say "Hide Read Filed Messages" now and I am positive it said "Hide Filed Messages" in the past
I've several problems with bbm groups. Though I can get into a group and read everything, it's impossible for me to send anything. I have the latest version of BBM.
well i have os .743 the east asia one.i could read korean website and emails and i can send text messages in korean too but when i receive the text messages in korean i cant read it it's just blank or it has question marks.
