Dec 22, 2011How can I tell if someones read my text? I know you can tell on bbm, but if it's possible I'd like to know how to do it with sms messages too.

BB Bold 9000 :: Text Mesage Saying Read
Mar 9, 2010Just wondering if you receive a text message and don't check your phone for say 12 hours does it still show as un-read even if you stay on the text message screen. I know it's a weird question but if someone knows that would be awesome. I am more taking about the image at the top of the screen which shows un-read with the little red Astrix.

Jun 17, 2010When i receive a txt message i have to manually go to messages which says "no messages".it took me ages to work out that i had to click "options" and "view folder" then select "sms inbox" is there not an easier way of looking at my messages, rather than me having to click on loads of things to finally read them.Surely they should just come up straight away? like most phones.I have only just bought the phone and i am new to blackberrys so i'm just learning how to use everything x

Jun 2, 2012I'm thinking of abandoning the I-Phone altogether because of two annoyances that get only worse, not better, with time. But if any newer I-Phone (I currently have the 3GS) has removed these annoyances, I will upgrade.
1. I want txt alerts to continue (every minute or two) until I have opened and read a text message. Does any model I-Phone allow for this?
2. I want to disable predictive text as I don't like the I-Phone algorhthym for this -- it causes me endless grief. Which model allows for this?
3. I want my battery to last a minimum of 2 days without charging (I've tried all the usual ways of reducing battery consumption and the result does not meet my needs). Does any model I-Phone allow for this?

When I open the message its totally blank when I press the options and set conversation then I see a old sms on a black background like a clipboard. My company has several E72 Nokias & NONE can view emails due to a html bug in the Nokia E72.If I can change my emails to be viewed in html that might be better. I also get a sync error after emails have downloaded & all i can see if the subject of the email. All other phones on our network that are not Nokia have no problems viewing emails.

Jun 20, 2014I have been trying to backup my text messages so that they are in a readable format on my computer so that I can read them or print them. I have a number of pictures that have been sent and some important conversations I need to save; however, they are taking up a lot of memory on my phone and I would like to delete them, but still have access to them on the computer. I downloaded a free program called Appandora, but it locked up every time it started to save the second text message thread. The one that it did save was in a .txt file and was very difficult to read. I do understand that the texts are backed up when the phone is backed up, but I want them in a readable accessible file.
