Feb 12, 2010I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

Or better to go for an exchange? I dont trust Nokia Care because my e72 is still with them for some error which they are not explaning properly. Poor customer service.

My Sprint Touch Pro's touchscreen slowly died today. And I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what I should do. I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

May 16, 2012Problem Description I was in a middle of a workout with the MOTOACTV. It was connected wirelessly to my heart rate monitor. During the workout the UI became high latency and almost completely unresponsive. It would take 3 4 presses to the Power Key to get the device to wake up. When device did wake up, the CapTouch UI would not accept any swipe or touch gestures. I finally was able to power the device down hoping for a graceful reset. However I was concerned that I was never going to get to the point of getting to the power down screen. seen this issue on other Android devices and know that there are times when a battery pull is needed due to a deadlock or a process gone haywire.

Feb 19, 2010My dad got mad took my phone and started stomping on it with the heel of his shoe. I just now have gotten it back and at first glance, there is no damage. But after turning it on, the touch screen doesnt work. No matter how hard i press or anything, nothing happens. I do not have apple care warranty. So my question to you is do any of you guys know of a place that can fix this. The glass isnt broken, just the part that senses that you are touching the glass is.

Unresponsive Touch Screen (iPhone 5s - IOS 7.1.1)
Jun 4, 2014I started noticing this problem on my phone (iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.1) where my screen would kind of go haywire without me touching it. For example, if I'm browsing through Vine, it would automatically scroll all the way up as if I had pressed the info bar on top (the one that lets you scroll all the way up with one touch) and then would keep trying to pull down to refresh all by itself. The problem would temporarily go away when I locked the screen, but it would come back once in a while. At this point, I tried turning it on/off, doing a reset by holding the home and power buttons, and restoring it from a backup.�
Now, the problem has escalated to where the entire screen is unresponsive to touch at first unlocking. It was a minor nuisance, until the entire screen would stop responding while the phone was unlocked and I had been using it. I tried turning it on/off and the reset with the home/power buttons, but the problem would still come up. At this point, I ended up doing a complete restoration of my phone and deleted everything I had on there. The problem seemed to go away last night, but this morning, after I unplugged it from its charger, the problem was back.�
My current issue now is that the touch screen is unresponsive when I first try to unlock it, but I lock and re-unlock it and the screen works fine. But I have to do this EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to use my phone.

Jun 15, 2012Hello everybody. I have an iPhone 4 and updated it to 5.1.1. Since then everytime someone calls me, the answer slider doesn't work !! I have to call everyone back for a week now. And sometimes during de calls the touch screen doesn't work (end+answer, end buttons). I don't have my iphone jailbroken or anything.
It is very idiotic that an update ruins your phone and you can't downgrade to a last know configuration that works.
SO... to sum up. Touch screen doesn't work when I receive a phonecall and the phone is in standby (slide to answer) and during calls.
