My phone would always show all incoming emails, but now it shows both incoming and outgoing emails, including sent emails from my PC. What do I need to do to only have incoming emails show up in my phone's inbox?
View 4 RepliesSo I set up my gmail account via the BIS or whatever plug-in, and all seems to be working ok. The problem is that the emails go straight to my general "Messages" inbox, but nothing shows up in my Gmail account inbox when i click on that specific icon. I do have SMS/MMS broken out into a separate inbox, but i'd like to use the gmail inbox where it threads messages with the same topic instead of the general messages inbox.tried resending service books.

I just added a new email acct to my phone and whenever I send messages (with just that account) I get a copy in my inbox as an unread message. The email goes through to the recipient and everything, but whenever I send from this account, I get a copy. Any idea why this could be happening? I've done resets, test emails and everything, nothing has seemed to work.I have a VZW BB Curve 3G 9330.I'm on BB OS 6.It's the third email account on my phone.I have done a soft reset a couple times already.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the bold 9700 and about 3 days ago I stopped receiving emails on my device, however I was getting them on my inbox on my PC. Now, I am getting them but there's allot of lag time. My PC inbox gets them right away but it takes my blackberry 20 minutes after it's sent to get sometimes. I tried multiple e-mails and same thing so I know the problem is not the email server and I also have no problems with my BIS and when I send emails with my BB they're sent to the inbox immediately.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I am unable to reply to emails with one my email accounts. To be more specific I can type in my response but when I hit the menu the send option is gone. The only choices I get are "save as draft" and "full menu".
I used the search but was not able to find a solution.
I am thinking this started to happen when I DL'ed v5.0.0.602. I tried practically everyone option available. I did the following in hopes for a fix:
- battery pull
- service books
- deleted the email account & re-added
I even did this combo: service books, deleted account, service books, added account & pulled battery.
I just got a 9700 this past week and noticed something that is a little odd. I have two email accounts set up on my BB, one is gmail while the other is my university email.
My emails seem to be reconciling fine when I look in the address-specific folder (eg, go to blackberry main menu and then the mailboxes with the little globe at the bottom). However, if I open the Messages (one that has BBM stuff, both emails, etc) app, all my emails are still there! Is this normal?
Also, I don't seem to be receiving any emails from facebook on my BB. I get them if I open my email normally on my mac, but they're not being delivered to my BB. I do have the Facebook app installed... is this the cause? I get notifications fine for facebook, just not the emails.
Earlier today, my BB started doing something weird. When I get a new email, I highlight it and press the trackball to open it, but it opens the previously received email instead. If I hit the back button (taking me back to the email list) and then hit the new email again, it still takes me to the previous email. The only way to open the new email is to scroll up to the date and then back to the email, which will then open the correct one.
Also, if the new email is highlighted and I delete it, it deletes the previous email instead.
I've tried a battery pull and it doesn't help. I'm on a TMO 9700 running OS .330.
I just got my first blackberry 9700 2 days ago and I have some questions regarding to the push email. Actually, I have 3 email accounts and I only set up 1 email account on my blackberry.
The first problem is that :
1. The push email sometimes does not receive the email straight away, but when it does it receives 5-7 mails at once. I think push email on blackberry receives emails instantly when they arrive, doesn't it?
2. Is that a problem to use only 1 email for multiple accounts on blackberry? I mean my facebook account, MSN messenger, ebay, and other accounts. should I set my facebook account and MSN messenger to have an individual email each? So, in this case 1 email does not do a lot work on my blackberry.
3. As what it is provided on blackberry email setting. It can set different email accounts such as hotmail, yahoo, etc. I set a hotmail on my blackberry, but not @hotmail.com instead of hotmail.co.uk. Is that a problem?
and one last question is :
4. I tried to download some paid themes, but when I sent then link to my blackberry there was a link to download the theme. I just clicked on the link to download, but there was no button to download the theme. Is the country where I am at have not been supported the service? I think every country should be able to download the application. Actually I'm in Australia.
When emailing, or more importantly replying to emails the signature is placed at the very bottom of the email string. The signature is not placed at the end of the body of the message. If this doesnt make sense to all of you let me go further - if you are sending a reply to someone, your signature will show as the last line or lines on the message instead of after your main text and before the original email.
This happened to me when I had a BB 8820 and now with the BB 9700 I am starting to notice it. What puzzles me is that it does not happen all of the time. Has anyone done any testing with different mail servers? Is RIM working on a resolution for this issue? I think that it is great that people have mentioned using auto text and so on but thats not a solution, that is a work around.
Im tryin to get my email verified for iMessage and FaceTime, but i don't received any emails. All info are correct (correct apple id and password). Though, i don't have any sim on my phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEarlier today my Blackberry Bold 9780 (6.0 bundle 1306) stopped receiving emails. The first thing I tried was rebooting by removing the battery, but this didn't work. I was looking through some other forums and it was suggested that the facebook app might be the problem. I checked the facebook app and nothing would load, so I uninstalled it but this didn't improve anything. I also unistalled all other 3rd party applications at this point.I then saw that someone else had lost their email becuase their phone wiped their password. I tried to access my email account management to see if this had happened, but was unable to do so. Instead I got a message saying 'Your device had a problem connecting to the server'.
The next thing I tried was the t-mobile BIS site. I accessed this via my computer and it said I needed to be on my hand held device. I tried to access the device's browser and it couldn't connect. I get the message "Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider."At some point after I was aware that I'd stopped receiving emails I went on the web to see if this was working, and it was. Unfortunately, I not sure if this was before or after the cull of apps. I also tried update the software for this device, but it told me it was up to date
My emails and sms are pinging as received yet I cannot see them. The emails and sms have not updated since yesterday on the screen?

However, the count for my Inbox displayed at the top of my screen ALWAYS indicates ONE email received, even though I've deleted all emails.Only once did the count go to zero, but I can't figure out why it did, because I deleted mail the way I always do, but a couple days later, it went back to maintaining ONE in my Inbox.What do I do? It's one thing that drives me nuts because the OS interface is placing an SMS notifier saying I have a new one, I see that I have one new message, I hover over the SMS icon on the home screen and it has a prefix (1). I deleted ALL sms msgs and it's still telling me I have one. What do I do? This happened after I did a backup and restore. Maybe because I had an unread SMS before restoring data from my old 8330?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Outlook 2007 on my desktop computer and use BT as a service provider and for my email, my Blackberry supplier is Vodafone and I use BIS.I have noticed that if my Blackberry receives an email first I don't get the same email delivered to my desktop. If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.
View 6 Replies View RelatedUpgraded to Bold 9900 a few months ago, last week, Bold kept restarting and so got new bold. Using BES 4.1 and activated phone, but appears that only 5 days worth of emails in Inbox and no emails in Sub-folders. Spoke to Blackberry and they said that this was by design!!! Deleted user from BES and re-created, but still same problem. Is there anything I can do, can't believe that this is by design. It appears that even though you delete user from BES Server, details are still in back end database and so when user is recreated from address list, it links back to the database and repopulates with the limited emails. Is there a way that I can delete the user completely and then recreate from scratch and populate all emails from exchange inbox and sub-folders?

View 13 Replies View RelatedEvery so often, I'll get a new incoming SMS, and when I try to go to the inbox to view it, I get the dreaded java.lang.NullPointerException.
Pulling the battery fixes it, but only for a little while. At best, it works for 2-3 days before it happens again. Sometimes, like today, it doesn't even last one day: I already pulled it about 3-4 hours ago, and just had this issue again.
It's extremely frustrating, because rebooting after reinserting the battery takes 5 minutes, and I have to do it immediately to read the message I just received!
I tried updating the OS, but this has had no effect.
Has anyone else experienced this with their 9700? I'm on AT&T and am running 5.0.0.405.
