I want to update to new iPhone, so I have backed up my current iphone using iTunes. I looked in my library to see if the images are all backed up and they seem to be smaller and of a lower resolution. Will the images be hi-res when i restore them to a new phone?

I can't find an option to change the resolution to a smaller size on the camera. The only option is widescren or 4:3. What if I want to use less space on my SD card when taking pictures?Is this something we can expect to see in the next software update?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe specification of resolution for Xoom-wifi is 1280x800, but the default browser (chrome) only shows about 960x600. Contacted to Moto support, none can resolve the issue. I use a Dell laptop (which has 1280x800), than compare to Xoom. Both use Chrome as browser, they should show the same view area. But Xoom shows much less content than laptop, the roughly display resolution of Xoom is around 960x600.

When I send an image it does not give me the option of sending a full res image. I notice it is sent at 29kb file size. A recent recipient requested a higher res image. First, how can I accomodate that request through BBM.
Secondly, is there a way to change the default size for sending images through bbm? I remember I used to be able to pick the resolution as I do now when sending email attachments.
I've bought a Nokia N79 10 days ago and I have a problem with my camera. I can't find it of high resolution and it seems like it's 2 megapixels not 5 megapixels
When I capture the image immediately with one click, the image seems to be blurred (especially when I photograph texts).To make it capture the image properly with clear text, I should keep pressing the camera button till I see the green brackets then take the photo.
Is that normal or a problem?? knowing that nokia E71 camera is completely different with clear image although it's 3.2 MP.The same thing happens when I capture anything(especially text as well)on video.Please I need a quick answer because I need to know if this phone is defective.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I acquired a Lumia 1020, black, from the at&t store. Have to admit, I was super excited until I got home and saw the images this thing produces. Maybe I got a bad phone, but I doubt it. The images are incredibly noisy, and I expected much better.I'm looking at the images with high-res in the file name. And all of these were on automatic settings (except for one or two where I turned the flash to "assist only".)
Is it this bad everywhere? Maybe a bad phone? The images is horribly oversampled and pixelated even at low zoom levels, or default "just looking at the picture". My Lumia 920 doesn't look like this on normal photos (when you don't zoom in). URL...
I noticed that sometimes when an app is loading after selecting it from the app store, the icon is very high res when it has the loading bar.After the app loads and installs,the icon makes a noticable shift to a low res version.It is definitely not because the icon is grayed out, you can visibly see the switch from high res to low res.Anyone know how to fix this?No idea why an icon would show in high res then switch for no reason.
View 5 Replies View RelatedDid I miss the memo that says deleting lo-res photos will somehow not allow one to open the hi-res versions? I have the 1520 connected to my Windows 7 PC (via USB) and wanted to keep the hi-res versions only, so I deleted the lo-res ones. The hi-res files still appear as physical files in file explorer with multiple megabytes but no preview/ thumbnail (same as before). I can't transfer them to an empty folder on my Desktop or to Imgur, nothing happens, not even an explanation. I checked my recycle bin and the lo-res files are no where to be found.

1. Is this possible from the built-in browser ? I can do it from Opera Mini, but haven't found a straightforward method for the Nokia browser.
2. The images I did download are very small (certainly smaller than the were when uploaded). Is it possible to download the full-sized image ? If not, is this a phone/browser or Facebook limitation ?
iPhone Reminders; When I leave a location I have my iPhone remind me to turn the Ringer volume up.... But... Right now, it tells me about 100m away, by which time its too noisy in RL to hear it. Is there a way to set the trigger radius lower? Or a 3rd party app?

I have had an iPhone 4S since November 2011, and in the last two weeks whenever I plug in either the Apple headphones or my Sennheiser headphones the volume in the music app is lower than usual, even though the volume bar is in the same place. My headphones are not broken, I have tried with three different pairs of operating headphones.
The only seemable way to fix this is to open Shazam, then go back to music. This brings the volume back to a normal level, until I either pause or skip the song, which takes it back to its lesser volume level.

Bought my 4S Feb 1, 2012 volume was ok not as loud as I would like but after iOS 5 upgrade sounds are now extremely low. No I do not have it on vibrate and yes I have the volume all the way up in the settings. I reset all the settings and still too low.

Not too sure why but recently my battery life on my iPhone 5 has been awful! Firstly, I noticed the battery slowly starting to get worse at first, where I would barely make it through an evening and just about keep my phone alive. I then bought a charging case to use on nights out, which soon enough seemed to not be enough to keep the phone on.Â
Now, on a daily basis my phone switches off and I have to charge it throughout the day, I turns off sometimes just suddenly at 40% battery, other times at 20% and others it quickly jumps down to 1% and turns off shortly after. Earlier today I left my office with 86% battery. Went outside to make a phone call for maximum 15 minutes and my phone had quicky reduced to 10% low battery by the end of the conversation and 1% between my walk of 3 mins to then turn off before I was back in my seat.Â
I have experienced bad battery life on my previous Iphone but nothing like this. I did, however take it into Apple and where they backed up the phone and replaced it with a brand new one, however this iPhone is not still in my warranty (not entirely sure if the previous one was either to be honest).Â
I have done all of the recent updates, I close any existing apps and am not constantly on my phone anyway.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe size of photos taken by my Lumia 950 is about only 4 to 5 MB although I set it to JPEG(16 MP) . Another confusing point is that their dimensions are about 3000*5400 which roughly gives 15 MP not 20 MP!!
Apart from the size and dimensions, the quality of photos also do not sound superb in general, there are just fairly good, so I guess that something might be wrong.
Question #1: "OK, Google" is pretty cool, but I don't want to give up a full icon line to have it. Is there a smaller version of the widget that will only take up one icon space?

All installs are on the mass memory, emails and messages have been cleared out (gives back a couple of Meg) i'm down to 52Meg at the moment. I reformatted once (back to about 120Meg) and since then it's shrunk and continiues to get smaller!

I can access all of my icons in the upper potion and the browser icon as well,but anything in the bottom row (main icons) except for safari are all unresponsive. when my keyboard comes up, I can use most of the keys except in the lower left corner. This has me not being able to use my phone and text functions except with Siri.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe camera on the Droid X is pretty good..high res...maybe not as good as the SAMSUNG I just gave up to by the Droid but good. With my SAMSUNG and the phone I had before, if I sent a picture to an e-mail address it was just one button click to resize it for e-mail (would take the 3MP and resize to 100-180K which is much easier to download and views just fine on phone or laptop...with the Droid X it does not automatically give you the sizing option and if you go to the edit function it only lets you go down to 1MP...that is almost 10 times the size it should be for sending e-mail...really making people mad that I send pics too...is there a way to resize for e-mail (100-180K)
