Bought my 4S Feb 1, 2012 volume was ok not as loud as I would like but after iOS 5 upgrade sounds are now extremely low. No I do not have it on vibrate and yes I have the volume all the way up in the settings. I reset all the settings and still too low.

I was delighted to see I can finally upgrade my Bold 9700 to OS6 and did so at once.Unfortunately I discovered all the pre-set alarm and notification sounds from the original factory settings are gone now and most of them have been replaced by rather lame ones. I have had an iPhone 4S since November 2011, and in the last two weeks whenever I plug in either the Apple headphones or my Sennheiser headphones the volume in the music app is lower than usual, even though the volume bar is in the same place. My headphones are not broken, I have tried with three different pairs of operating headphones.
The only seemable way to fix this is to open Shazam, then go back to music. This brings the volume back to a normal level, until I either pause or skip the song, which takes it back to its lesser volume level.

Just bought a new Razor V3 (black) to replace my 5 year old razor v3 (silver). I use T-Mobile. I have replaced my other Razors a couple of times with no problem.
ISSUE: Internal tools and apps are different from any other I have used while other standard selections are missing or hidden. When I open the phone and press the center of navigation key, I get a main menu list of tools, settings, connections, etc. but not the typical 9 icons (only a list instead).
Also, when I select some of the menu items, the selection of options are very limited, for example, "Settings", only provides 3 selections:
1. Connection (for bluetooth)
2. Call Divert ?
3. Java Settings (I have never seen this before)
The Java Settings are very limited in additional selections.
Problem:
1. I cannot find the settings change and set up the basic functionality of this phone. I cannot access the setting to allow the phone to answer upon openning. I cannot access messages (specifically cannot open text messages), cannot select network, etc., etc.
are there screens that are being hidden that I can reverse? or is there a way to change the internal software to a standard configuration?
Not too sure why but recently my battery life on my iPhone 5 has been awful! Firstly, I noticed the battery slowly starting to get worse at first, where I would barely make it through an evening and just about keep my phone alive. I then bought a charging case to use on nights out, which soon enough seemed to not be enough to keep the phone on.Â
Now, on a daily basis my phone switches off and I have to charge it throughout the day, I turns off sometimes just suddenly at 40% battery, other times at 20% and others it quickly jumps down to 1% and turns off shortly after. Earlier today I left my office with 86% battery. Went outside to make a phone call for maximum 15 minutes and my phone had quicky reduced to 10% low battery by the end of the conversation and 1% between my walk of 3 mins to then turn off before I was back in my seat.Â
I have experienced bad battery life on my previous Iphone but nothing like this. I did, however take it into Apple and where they backed up the phone and replaced it with a brand new one, however this iPhone is not still in my warranty (not entirely sure if the previous one was either to be honest).Â
I have done all of the recent updates, I close any existing apps and am not constantly on my phone anyway.

After a while, sms messages are being removed from my phone. The contact that I was messaging still stays open on my messages application. However instead of the usual white message icon that should appear, the green icon appears usually suggesting that a message is being composed by myself and has not yet been sent. When I click on the message thread, it is totally blank and no messages appear. I now have no record of the messages, and some that have been deleted are quite important.

Unlike what most users say that the phone is faster, I dont really find that to be the case. When I startup, it takes awhile longer. Sometimes the wallpaper appears and then disappears and then reappears again with the contacts bar and everything. The problem really seems to be the home screen. Every time I go back to the home screen or click on menu, theres a black line in the center, a flash n nothing happens or a flash n it works. Sometimes, the flash is not there and the menu just opens up. I dont really know how to explain that, but I hope uve got an idea of what i'm saying. I'm wondering if I should soft reset.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI downloaded ringtones from crackberry a couple hours ago and now my ringers won't work and when I try to play ringtones in the media application it won't let me play them. I tried going through the profiles to make sure they weren't muted or off and nothing is working. I had the exact same problem less than 24 hours ago and the cell phone place just gave me a new phone because they couldn't figure it out either. If I could get some kind of direction as to what I need to do I would appreciate it greatly.

Woke up yesterday and noticed it was no longer downloading new email and would just time out trying to connect. Tried removing and reinstalling the account - no luck, can't connect with the usual settings. Also tried creating the account with the default Android email and MailDroid and they also won't work. My provider swears that everything is working on their end and that I'm using the right settings.
