since upgrading to IOS 8, I am constantly getting warnings that from apps that mobile data is turned off. This happens when connected via WiFi and even when opening Settings - the place where you turn mobile data on and off! How can I disable this annoying alert and has a bug been submitted as it is incor behaviour to moan about mobile data when INET connectivity is present via WiFi.Â
BTW, this interface for this site is tragically bad when using an iPhone 5 in landscape mode. It doesn't "just work"

My iPhone 4 doesn't seem to be keeping a full charge. My phone never used to do this, and I'm not sure what's the cause of it. Every couple of nights or so, I'll plug my phone in to charge before I go to bed, generally the battery's down to 30% most of the time due to using it throughout the day for work and whatnot. Anyway, before I head to bed, I'll plug it in and turn it off. And when I'd wake up the next day, I'd unplug my phone and turn it back on, the battery would be at 100%, and it'd be good to go for the entire day.
But here lately, it hasn't been doing that. I'll plug my phone in before bed, turn it off, and when I wake up the next day to take it off the charger, it'll be at anywhere between 93-97%. And I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes it feels as though the battery's life goes down much faster when it's not at 100%, but maybe that's just my imagination or something. And when I keep my phone on the charger once I've turned it on, it'll get up to 100% after a while.
Like I mentioned before, this has only been a recent thing, and has started doing this maybe about a month or so ago. Needless to say, it's rather frustrating. It's not difficult to deal with, just a bother more than anything else.

how you would rate my phone's battery performance. My usage stats when my phone was at 1% battery were:
Usage: 7 hours 15 minutes
Standby: 16 hours 33 minutes
-Wifi on for about 3 hours
-1 exchange push email
-Brightness about 40%
-1-2 hours of games
-An hour iPod
-20 minutes 3G talk time
-Texting/Checking twitter
My fully charged phone will be down to 0% battery after 4-5 hours. During this time, I havent even used it. This has occured for the last 3 days, and I have not downloaded any apps or updated any apps for 6 days.

Since the lollipop update I can't turn off the "new sms message" on my radio while playing music through bluetooth. Before the update I could just turn my phone on vibrate or mute and the alerts wouldn't interrupt my music. I'll be singing along to a song when suddenly the music stops, an alert tone comes on and the "new sms message" pops up on my radio display. It's bad enough that half of my apps stop working randomly for no reason since the update.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 last week this has been the only changes on my iPhone 4 other then normal app updates. Last light I pluged in my device for charge as is normal. Today I woke up and the device indicated that it didn't charge and is showing that I have about 35% of the charge remanding. Pluged in the device to another charger / cord and while the battery charging icon shows that it was charging but after 2hrs I still only had 35%.

I've found that 38 hours worth of battery life Engadget posted in their review to sound like a bit much. However this is less than a week into our new toys, and I know we're all playing hard. So, just for the curious, and to make sure none of us got shorted, how bout a study? If you'd like, post your numbers, however to be more exact, lets go by the usage number under Settings>General>Usage. If you will, post both Usage and Standby stats since the last full charge when you get down to 20%. Try to be as exact as possible.
So on my iPhone 4 going from 100% to 20% I've got...
Usage 5 hours 4 minutes
Standby 16 hours 8 minutes
Total 21 hours 12 minutes

View 6 Replies View RelatedI posted a bit ago that I was using my phone and it had more than 1/4 battery left and it suddenly shut off from drained battery only to charge it and have it act normal . Well, just a bit ago I was charging my phone ( it was at 45%)and I shut it off n turned it back on and the battery was fully charge.
View 14 Replies View RelatedThis seems to be an issue with lollipop, as the G3 and the Samsungs have it too. My phone will sometimes (not every time) beep when it has reached 100% battery. This happens in the middle of the night while I'm sleeping, so it wakes me up.
I have my phone setup so that it will not disturb me. No notifications unless its from a friend. But will sound any clock alarms I have setup. Any way to turn off the battery charge notification?
Some people in other forums state that using the included charger fixes this. It does not. I tried it and it still beeps. It is also not consistent, as some nights it will not beep. Turning down the volume all the way down is also not an option, as I need the clock alarm.
After lolipop update I can't charge the phone to full, i already made a clean setup via pc companion after i resetted the phone. My phone goes to 84% and starts blinking charging/notcharging, so finally after 10 h of charging it has only 85% of accu.i can charge my mobile while its turned of ..Also im sure there are no apps is consuming the battery while im charging it .
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have had the E71 for almost 2 years without any problems. The battery low sign now comes on after 3hrs and the phone then powers off.I have replaced the battery for a new unit and tried using a friends battery but it still powers off after 3hrs when its been on charge overnight. The only way I can keep it on is by leaving on the charger.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHad my M8 for 2 weeks now and at first the battery was terrible as I could barely get 12 hours out of the phone. After a hard reset, its now up to 30-35 hours with about 6-7 hours screen time. First of all, is this normal or is this still lacking? The most I got was 50 hours with 3 hours screen time and about 15% left on the battery before charging. I don't use the power saver feature on the phone.
Secondly, I have noticed that when I charge my phone to full, between 100% and 88%, the battery drains extremely quickly. It takes a third less time to drop a percent than below 88%. After that point the battery drain seems to be normal and fairly slow.
I've noticed that when my HTC One is fully charged during the day, it plays my ringtone to notify that it is fully charged. How do i turn this off? Its not located in the sound settings!

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been noticing something strange after the last update I've got. I received an update of 240mb approximately and after that update my phone doesn't give me the full charge notification like it used to earlier. Only the LED turns green but no beep sound or notification screen turning on?
View 2 Replies View Relatedrecently, my S6 doesn't make that beep sound as well as turning the screen on once the charging is complete. This was working perfectly so far but for the last 3-4 charge cycles, its not giving me any sounds and only the LED turns green after 100%. I received an update for about ~240mb and may be after that its doing it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter i got last update used my phone couple of days and as batery life still seemed too low i decided tro reset my phone. did the reset and first thing i noticed diagnostics tool was missing form apps menu. so then i synched my phone downloaded some apps and decided to check if reseting had any effect on my batterys full charge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is a new battery and has the same problem that I was experiencing before purchasing the new battery. If I remove the battery and reboot the system, it will show a full to a 3/4 charge--but only for a minute or two, then it shows that the battery is dead again.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I need to reboot/reset my i760 (Winmob 6.1, Spb Shell) it will not finish the boot cycle. I turn it on, I get the Samsung logo, the dark blue static Verizon wireless screen, then it about a half a second into the next screen (where the Verizon wireless logo "floats" down to a light blue screen) the system powers off. You can just see the red check in the logo start to draw and head down and the system just goes off.I thought I had solved it by pulling the battery for about 30 seconds, but now that doesn't fix the problem anymore. The only way to make the phone power on is to connect it to a power source (charger or cradle). Then it powers on normally. It does not matter the charge on the battery at the moment - I've had it do it any charge level, including 100% just off a overnight charge. This battery will normally last me 2 days of hard use.Any ideas?

OS version 7.10.8107.79
Firmware version : 1600.2487.8107.12070
The thing is, I unplugged the charger at 9 in the morning and when it came to around 9 in the night. The battery is critical low. I just made few calls, text and no more than 10 mins twitter stuff and the battery is done? My iphone could even stand for 1 day with this usage. I tried everything, reset the fone. But seems not working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI notice that when I do a full charge from a low battery once it hits 100% if I unplug the charger after i get 1% drain every 10 minutes in standby so I do a cache clean and reboot then it discharges normally after.
When I leave the phone plugged in lets say all night and it trickle charges for a few hours after being at 100% it will only discharge around 1% every hour on standby. Is there anything wrong?
