HTC One M7 :: How To Turn Off Full Charge Ring Notification
May 23, 2013
I've noticed that when my HTC One is fully charged during the day, it plays my ringtone to notify that it is fully charged. How do i turn this off? Its not located in the sound settings!
This seems to be an issue with lollipop, as the G3 and the Samsungs have it too. My phone will sometimes (not every time) beep when it has reached 100% battery. This happens in the middle of the night while I'm sleeping, so it wakes me up.
I have my phone setup so that it will not disturb me. No notifications unless its from a friend. But will sound any clock alarms I have setup. Any way to turn off the battery charge notification?
Some people in other forums state that using the included charger fixes this. It does not. I tried it and it still beeps. It is also not consistent, as some nights it will not beep. Turning down the volume all the way down is also not an option, as I need the clock alarm.
Just about a week ago, I started getting notifications when the phone is plugged in and the battery is fully charged. How do I stop this? I looked through the sound & notification setting and can't find it.
I've been noticing something strange after the last update I've got. I received an update of 240mb approximately and after that update my phone doesn't give me the full charge notification like it used to earlier. Only the LED turns green but no beep sound or notification screen turning on?
recently, my S6 doesn't make that beep sound as well as turning the screen on once the charging is complete. This was working perfectly so far but for the last 3-4 charge cycles, its not giving me any sounds and only the LED turns green after 100%. I received an update for about ~240mb and may be after that its doing it?
Sometimes when I need to reboot/reset my i760 (Winmob 6.1, Spb Shell) it will not finish the boot cycle. I turn it on, I get the Samsung logo, the dark blue static Verizon wireless screen, then it about a half a second into the next screen (where the Verizon wireless logo "floats" down to a light blue screen) the system powers off. You can just see the red check in the logo start to draw and head down and the system just goes off.I thought I had solved it by pulling the battery for about 30 seconds, but now that doesn't fix the problem anymore. The only way to make the phone power on is to connect it to a power source (charger or cradle). Then it powers on normally. It does not matter the charge on the battery at the moment - I've had it do it any charge level, including 100% just off a overnight charge. This battery will normally last me 2 days of hard use.Any ideas?
My wife has an iPhone 4 with which we've been having an issue. If it'd either plugged into Apple charger or a Sony digitasl radio/dock, whilst charging there are no message tones activated if a message is received.
Checked and there's nothing in any settings to indicate that it's a turn on/off feature. Last software update was about a week and a half ago, but this has been happening for 3 - 4 months, through a few updates now.
She doesn't want to do a restore, as it takes forever to get it back to the way she wants it. Seems like it shouldn't be that hard anyway, there's no reason it shouldn't work right just as it is.
My phone won't notify me of a text anymore. I haven't even had the phone for a week, and it's driving me insane. I've tried turning notifications on/off on Verizon Message+ (which is what I use for text), and I've tried changing the notification tone, too. For some reason, it still won't work. No notification light, no ring. I have to open my phone to see the number of missed texts next to the icon.
Out of a sudden, the ring notification has become very very very soft. Tried changing ring tones, restarted phone and checked all sound and notification settings to no avail. Volume of the ringtone is load when tested in the sound and notification setting menu.
I really love my new Verizon LG4 coming from a Samsung S3. It picks up signal clearly where I had complete drops on S3. However, one thing has really annoyed me and I need to find a way to live with this.
The ring sound and text notification sounds are either both ON or both OFF. I have to leave the ringer on for various reasons, but then I get the text notifications all night long. Various volume apps I downloaded did not separate out the sounds. This is a really bad idea to tie these together.
I have tried playing with Priority Interruptions, but can't quit seem to get the phone to ring and the texts to be silent.
I posted a bit ago that I was using my phone and it had more than 1/4 battery left and it suddenly shut off from drained battery only to charge it and have it act normal . Well, just a bit ago I was charging my phone ( it was at 45%)and I shut it off n turned it back on and the battery was fully charge.
I have a Xperia Z3 compact, all working well. but when i get a message the tone or sound only goes once, then stops,, is there a way to make it ring again at intervals ????? my old phone did this, so if i missed the sound the first time may hear it later,, so i didnt have to keep checking if i had any messages... have tried all the tones to see if easier to hear,, but they still only sound once,
My phone only makes noise when someone is calling, it doesn't play music out loud or ring when I get a text. It also has nothing to do with the mute switch on the side, I've flipped it on and off and nothing works.
My iPhone 4 doesn't seem to be keeping a full charge. My phone never used to do this, and I'm not sure what's the cause of it. Every couple of nights or so, I'll plug my phone in to charge before I go to bed, generally the battery's down to 30% most of the time due to using it throughout the day for work and whatnot. Anyway, before I head to bed, I'll plug it in and turn it off. And when I'd wake up the next day, I'd unplug my phone and turn it back on, the battery would be at 100%, and it'd be good to go for the entire day.
But here lately, it hasn't been doing that. I'll plug my phone in before bed, turn it off, and when I wake up the next day to take it off the charger, it'll be at anywhere between 93-97%. And I don't know if it's just me, but sometimes it feels as though the battery's life goes down much faster when it's not at 100%, but maybe that's just my imagination or something. And when I keep my phone on the charger once I've turned it on, it'll get up to 100% after a while.
Like I mentioned before, this has only been a recent thing, and has started doing this maybe about a month or so ago. Needless to say, it's rather frustrating. It's not difficult to deal with, just a bother more than anything else.
After lolipop update I can't charge the phone to full, i already made a clean setup via pc companion after i resetted the phone. My phone goes to 84% and starts blinking charging/notcharging, so finally after 10 h of charging it has only 85% of accu.i can charge my mobile while its turned of ..Also im sure there are no apps is consuming the battery while im charging it .
I have had the E71 for almost 2 years without any problems. The battery low sign now comes on after 3hrs and the phone then powers off.I have replaced the battery for a new unit and tried using a friends battery but it still powers off after 3hrs when its been on charge overnight. The only way I can keep it on is by leaving on the charger.
-Wifi on for about 3 hours -1 exchange push email -Brightness about 40% -1-2 hours of games -An hour iPod -20 minutes 3G talk time -Texting/Checking twitter
Had my M8 for 2 weeks now and at first the battery was terrible as I could barely get 12 hours out of the phone. After a hard reset, its now up to 30-35 hours with about 6-7 hours screen time. First of all, is this normal or is this still lacking? The most I got was 50 hours with 3 hours screen time and about 15% left on the battery before charging. I don't use the power saver feature on the phone.
Secondly, I have noticed that when I charge my phone to full, between 100% and 88%, the battery drains extremely quickly. It takes a third less time to drop a percent than below 88%. After that point the battery drain seems to be normal and fairly slow.
My fully charged phone will be down to 0% battery after 4-5 hours. During this time, I havent even used it. This has occured for the last 3 days, and I have not downloaded any apps or updated any apps for 6 days.
after trying to make a call the iphone went to a black screen and won't reset. tried holding down both buttons, tried to charge it, tried to reset it while connecting it. nothing. looked at a million Internet videos and nothingssimilar.
About 6 weeks ago I went out, dropped my phone and the next day I noticed the ringer wasn't working. I pulled the battery after I had no idea what else to do and the ringtones/notifications worked again. However about every 5 or 6 days the same thing happens and I have to pull the battery. I also noticed that when I check the ringtone options whenever the ringtones fail the BB says "invalid ringtone, please choose anther ringtone"could it be that the loudspeaker is loose? It's not busted because it works most of the time and a battery pull seems to solve the issue.Just now I had to pull the battery again to get the ringtones sounding.
I've had my Motorola Electrify since the middle of November last year and didn't really notice it too much for atleast a couple months, but recently if I dont reboot my phone for more than 2 days, and sometimes sooner than that, it will stop playing any notification sounds and just now it didn't even play any ring sound at all when I just received a call. It vibrated, but didn't play any sound. This is getting frustrating. I have even factory reset my phone a few weeks ago because of other things, and it still hasn't fixed this issue. In fact it seems to be getting worse. At first it was SOME notification sounds after 4 or 5 days not rebooting, now its all notification AND ring sounds after just a couple days. I have the app "Tasker" installed and have sounds associated with some profiles, but don't really think thats the problem because its not just sounds associated with the app, its system events too, like receiving a call, etc.
I upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 last week this has been the only changes on my iPhone 4 other then normal app updates. Last light I pluged in my device for charge as is normal. Today I woke up and the device indicated that it didn't charge and is showing that I have about 35% of the charge remanding. Pluged in the device to another charger / cord and while the battery charging icon shows that it was charging but after 2hrs I still only had 35%.
I have a Nexus 5 32gb for 1 year and 3 months. Since last week my cellphone starts to ring randomly (the ringtone of my alarm) with no notification on screen. It only goes off if I press hold or pressing the screen if it is unlocked. I have put all volumes to zero, set the priority to No interruptions but it still rings randomly (my house, my class, everywhere).
I think it's nearly unanimous that LG and AT&T have ruined the lock screen notifications with the 5.01 update. Here is something else that's beyond annoying. When it's charging and hits 100%, it will give a battery full notification and a sound with it. Then a few minutes later it will give it again, and again, and again.
