Mar 26, 2015I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 yesterday (moving over from a windows phone) and it's taking some getting used to. The lack of a 'silent' function is annoying, but the part that is strange is the fully charged notification.
I suffer from insomnia and I finally got to sleep last night, only to be woken up by the phone vibrating to let me know it was fully charged. I wasn't able to get back to sleep for hours then, and I'm dreading it happening again tonight! How can I turn this notification off?

Feb 16, 2015I think it's nearly unanimous that LG and AT&T have ruined the lock screen notifications with the 5.01 update. Here is something else that's beyond annoying. When it's charging and hits 100%, it will give a battery full notification and a sound with it. Then a few minutes later it will give it again, and again, and again.

Aug 31, 2014After about a month, my new iPhone 5s has started waking me up at night with an audible tone and vibrating. This seems to happen when the battery reaches 100% charge. Since iOS 7 apparently doesn't have a full battery alarm I stumped about how to disable this. I've thought about using the "Do no disturb" mode but I sometimes use my phone as my alarm and don't want DND to also silence the alarm. Is there some feature I don't know about that I could turn off to stop these nightly disturbances? (It hasn't always done this but just started about a week ago!)

Jul 3, 2012I have the option selected, Options>Sound>. to notify when the battery is fully charged.I'm not getting a sound, a blinking LED, or anything in the status bar stating that the battery is charged as I did with GB. The only way I know it's charged is by going into options and checking the battery status under device options.The only change I have that I think could be affecting it is that I have the screen lock function turned off.

Oct 10, 2011I just upgraded to the Bionic from the Droid X. I tend to leave the phone plugged into the charger all night while on my night table because I get called frequently during the night from work and need to respond immediately. Unlike the Droid X, the Bionic plays an alert tone and instruct you to unplug the charger once it is fully charged. This is rather anoying as it wakes me up.

I use my phone for a clock/alarm at night and I think the bright white notification bar (irritating in itself) will eventually burn the screen. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.

The problem is that: While charging ONLY the Battery gets too much HOT and it never shows Battery is Full (Charged it for Max 1 Hour 45 Minutes) This problem suddenly appeared, so I formatted the Memory Card as well as Hard Format/Reset the Phone, but still the Battery is heating too much
After disconnecting the Phone from Charger, the Battery is FULL and I can use it without any problem and as usual. The Talktime right now is around 2.5 Hours and Standby time is around 2-3 Days

Jun 1, 2012i have the curve 8520...it was working earlier today I changed my sim card so I put my phone shut off. After this when I switched on my hand set.. then I found a battery symbol with a red x and the phone is not booting OS. I am not sure what that means but my phone won't turn on and won't charge. I tried taking the battery out and now it turns on but the symbol is still there and the loading bar is on the screen and it won't change. I also took outmy sim card & memory card.

May 25, 2015Last night I let my battery die. Not on purpose, of course. It was at 4% and I was actually walking over to the charger when I got the goodbye message and the phone shut off. I tried to turn it on, but I just got the low battery sign. I remember this happened on my old phone, so I just let it charge for the night. Unfortunately, when I woke up this morning it still wouldn't turn on. Didn't even get the low battery sign. Soft reset does nothing. Both of my computers did not even recognize that anything was plugged in. The only thing is, last week when I charged my phone I got a message saying something along the lines of your phone is charging slow because you're not using the stock charger.
