How I can turn off the battery full notification. It is constantly vibrating and making noise especially while I am using it while on the charger. I have looked around and didn't find much on how to do it except for rooting but have been apprehensive about that because of the new updates apparently have made it difficult.
So, how it can be done (including how to root after the updates if need be) ....
Can the notification that the battery is charged and that the charger should be disconnected be turned off? I use my phone for a clock/alarm at night and I think the bright white notification bar (irritating in itself) will eventually burn the screen. I thought perhaps MacroDroid could do it, but I don't see that notification as an event.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S5 yesterday (moving over from a windows phone) and it's taking some getting used to. The lack of a 'silent' function is annoying, but the part that is strange is the fully charged notification.
I suffer from insomnia and I finally got to sleep last night, only to be woken up by the phone vibrating to let me know it was fully charged. I wasn't able to get back to sleep for hours then, and I'm dreading it happening again tonight! How can I turn this notification off?
Since the upgrade to GB, I get a lot of notifications, some I can't tell why. One that I know of, when the phone reached full charge, I get the notification, sometimes 2 or 3 times. How to turn these off, was not happening in FROYO.
I found my X peria ray with low battery (~10%) and it will automatically turn off and cannot turn on unless charge the mobile!! what happens to the hp?? any setting problem?? or the battery problem ?? only recently found this problem!! in the past, I can use the phone even with 1% battery!
I've spent the last hour fruitlessly searching my phones settings to get rid of this annoying notification without success. I don't need to see this "emergency" alert that it's lightly raining every time I open my phone.
For most apps such as Facebook, Facebook messenger, and what's app I leave all my notification settings turned off aside from the red bubble. I don't need any extra notification from these apps.
Recently everytime II open up any one of those apps I get a pop up of some sort within the app covering the whole screen telling me how to turn on all my notifications for the app and I have to "x" out of it everytime before I can get into the actual app. If I do what it says and turn on all the notifications it stops but I don't want all those notifications. Each time I send a text I am told of my credit remaining. Good to know. But can u lower its volume or turn it off, as when in a shop its loud to others.
My BB is on a corporate server and we receive e-mails from around the world at all hours of the night. Does anyone know how to turn off the audible notification of incoming mail, while retaining the settings for incoming calls and texts?I have the Storm II.
The green notification light works for every other function of the phone, but doesn't blink when I receive texts. How to enable this function w/ texts?
I don't like any vibration on my phone. I don't know where to turn off the vibrate for Facebook notification, Tv controls, double tap home screen. I already turned the vibration for call feedback, keyboard and everything I can find in settings.
I have an American Blackberry Storm I am using in Italy on WIND. I am getting charged for SMS Delivery Notifications, but the Delivery Reports option is not available on my device. The provider tells me that they can't turn it off, it has to be turned off by the phone. What can I do to see this option on my phone
is it possible to customize the sound for low battery notification? In my Nokia 700 the default sound is very quiet, so I notice too late when the battery is near exhaustion... Or I do not notice it at all.It would be even helpful to set the percentage of the capacity, when the notification beeps. In my previous Nokia 6233 the phone beeped in advance, enough for me to manage recharging. New Nokia 700 beeps too late...
Since I updated my two Z2 (d6503) for Android 5, no longer audible warnings be issued when the battery is low of 15% or less. Just flash the red light with no beep.
I think it's nearly unanimous that LG and AT&T have ruined the lock screen notifications with the 5.01 update. Here is something else that's beyond annoying. When it's charging and hits 100%, it will give a battery full notification and a sound with it. Then a few minutes later it will give it again, and again, and again.
How do I turn on the flashing light to notify me of an event while I was away from the phone (ie, missed call or sms)? I found it once, but I've forgotten where it was.
When I send a message, I get a balance notification which also makes a text tone alert (same as when I receive a text). Is there a way to turn off the notification tone?
Ok so i figured out how to make it so no sound or lights go off or the lil red star thing on the folder but I still get the lil envelope when I get a new e-mail, I wanna make it so I get NO notification at all so I can just check it when I want to.
I have just got a new bb torch as I lost my old one and on this new phone when I receive a text message and click on the icon I am now getting a preview of the message in the notification bar.Can some please tell me how to turn this off so that it just shows who the message is from? This was not happening on my previous phone, is this something to do with the new software update?
I've noticed that when my HTC One is fully charged during the day, it plays my ringtone to notify that it is fully charged. How do i turn this off? Its not located in the sound settings!
