Jul 1, 2014My iPhone 5 is suddenly stuck in recovery mode. It won't turn on, the connect to iTunes logo just shows up. I really don't want to restore it because I have 300+ pictures from vacation that have not yet been synced to my photo stream. I guess my question is is there anyway that I can kick my phone out of recovery mode long enough to get those photos in my stream without restoring it? I know there are programs on the Internet that claim to do this but I doubt they work.

Apr 5, 2010my iphone 3gs was previously 3.1.2 firmware and i used my brother laptop that already had blackra1n installed so i used it and it looked fine then it just got bricked? it just doesnt turn on and when i plug it in computer it just says its in recovery mode and needs to be recovered.
so i thought i would just recover it to 3.1.3 but i wanted to avoid that step and go straight to 3.1.2 so that i can instantly jailbreak it correctly this time. i search around Internet and find a download for 3.1.2 firmware and i follow the steps and im supposed to do shift+and click restore on itunes and browse the download all looks swell until when it says preparing for recovery and it just comes with the (1600) error code.

This repeats constantly. I don't foresee a way of resolving this without hard setting the device. Unfortunately, I am unable to access any options as the device does not turn on. Is there a physical hard reset button on the device?

(NOT a new mail account)Instructions say go to mailboxes list. Then tap Edit, then New Mailbox. There is no Edit option to tap. If I go to All Inboxes, I have an Edit option but only to delete, move or mark. Nowhere can I find New Mailbox option.

Apr 9, 2012Although there are more topics about this subject, I've got a specific question about this problem. Recently, I bought an iPhone 4S via the online Apple Store. A couple of days ago, I noticed that there is dust under the screen of the iPhone. The dust is in the middle of the screen and not that large (circa 2mm), but notable and annoying. I contacted Apple and they came with the following options: Send iPhone to repair (lasts 9-17 days);Exchange the iPhone for a new one, costs 29 euros.
If it appears that the dust comes from outside and not from the factory, I'd have to pay 250 euros in both cases. In view of the fact that I cope well with the iPhone - I always use an iPhone case to protect it and I've never had it in my pocket without the case - it seems to be illogical that the dust is my 'fault'. The inside of the case is made of leather, which doesn't correspond to the dust under the screen. However, I'm not completely sure that the dust comes from the factory, since I noticed it just a couple of days ago.
My question: is it wise to exchange or repair the iPhone, since it creates a large risk? I don't want to pay 250 or 280 euros more, this is 'required' if I decide to exchange or repair it and if Apple can prove that the dust doesn't come from the factory.
