IPhone 5s :: Screen Stuck On (It May Take A Few Minutes To Activate)
Sep 9, 2014
My iPhone 5S is screen stuck on the "It may take a few minutes to activate your iphone" screen. When I plug it into my computer, it is not recognized. When I plug it into the wall, it begins to charge the phone.
I got this Iphone 4 from my sister and her husband got the Iphone, got home noticed that they formatted the phone then connected via WiFi to only find out that my sisters husband had the Find my Iphone feature ON! No she didn't split from him and take his phone, he upgraded lol. I wish the problem could be as easily solved as giving it back to them and having them hook it up to their PC but they DON'T have one? WoW! and whats worse even is the fact that apparently every time they got a new Iphone hes used a NEW EMAIL address for his Apple ID! So they dont remember the Email address let alone the password. My sister said shes called the ATT and they'll send her an Email, but that doesnt sound right can ATT have access to Find My Iphone feature? And If not what is the proper steps in getting this resolved! I use these iphones as media devices, NOT phones I listen to podcasts and watch movies thru them nothing more.
I have a problem with my touch screen. It works for 1 or 2 minutes and then it stops working for 2 or 3 minutes, this is a loop ! if I don't use for a couple of hours it will work more, about 15 minutes and then stops working !!! whats wrong with may iphone, which part is damaged ?:(( when touch screen stops working, all keys work correctly, home key & others )
Over the past week my iPhone 4s screen shows a stripey (similar to a barcode) screen when switched on. It seems to correct itself but often freezes for a several minutes. I have only had it five months, not dropped it or got it wet.
I have an iPhone 4s IOS 5.0.1 /32gb with 17.3 available-per settings. Its neen jailbroken. For the past few days I have been having a problem with the phone crashing. I go into an app and within 2 minutes it kicks me back to the home screen. I have tried clearing Safari history, deleting photos, and apps. I have also booted, synced, and still have the same thing happens.
Can someone tell my what's going on? After using my BRAND NEW Nokia N97 1 or more Minutes my screen is freezing? On the back of the screen it warm. If I using Phone more then its Freezing more Look (In the red circle is freezed SOMETHING), and One of this is Previous Screen view maked by Screenshot on my N97 :http://img153.imageshack.us/g/p1060398.jpg/ I bought phone in UK but I live in Poland and I can't send it to the Nokia Care center.I updated soft, and formated it Twice time - No results.
So I've been having this problem since yesterday where the screen is locked and my phone is charging and every two minutes the screen will light up and vibrate once. I thought maybe it was because I had a notification but I checked all of my apps and none of them have any Notifications. I have restarted the device twice and it hasn't changed anything. The same thing also happens when my phone isn't charging. any way besides doing a factory restore?
i have a problem with my x10 minipro... my phone screen glows up when it is locked... and it eats a lot of battery life.... it glows up every 5 minutes..
I have my Xperia Ray updated to 4.1.B.0.431 just after I bought it, it was working fine at first. However, not knowing when did the problem start, the screen occasionally turns on and off automatically as if I press the power button. The screen turns on and off for exactly 5 times every time and this repeats for like every 10mins. The problem will solve if I restart my phone but the problem comes again whenever it likes. Could this related to any apps (task killer, etc...) I have installed? Or some bugs or something in the system? This could seriously drain my battery flat if the problem left not noticed.
I have an LG G3. When I open an email I get a white screen for several minutes. I will open an email then read a couple FB posts before I can actually see the email. It can also take several minutes to actually update or delete emails. It has taken me 40 minutes to open and send 6 emails.
One month ago, i use my sony z3 to take an underwater photos. But after a few minutes in water, the screen went blank, and in the camera there are bubbles of water.. So i dried it and let it turn off for about a week. After a week, i turn on my sony and it works fine, the wifi, bluetooth, display, and others there are in the diagnostics test are good but the sim card reader wont read my celular card even though i already put it in.. Why does this happens?
My Screen Turned white a couple minutes ago It was fine this morning but now I cant use any thing exept for my speed dials I did not drop it or caused it any physical problem I ve tried to unplug/plug the battery then i tried to restore it and to download an update Its a Bold 9780 my provider is Telus and the phone is not even a year old...
When I'm using my phone it suddenly freezes and it has to be restarted for it to be used again. This happens every 5-10 mins. It has irritating to have to restart it every 5-10 mins and it going off in between important work. Is there any permanent fix?
I just got my Icon from the store this morning, and am back at work now! The biggest issue I have now is I put it on my charging stand, and it works great. Unfortunately, the screen keeps timing out after a minute. I found under settings->lock screen that there's a setting for this. It looks like 5 minutes is as long as I can set this to. I was really hoping to have it stay on all the time while on the stand while I'm here at work. Especially with no glance or notification light,
Every few moments my screen displays a small blue bar with the words "Error Connection Server" (super English!). Why my screen has to be infested with this popup every few moments and how I can disable it?
i was wondering if this is normal, i had my phone for like 3 weeks now since thanksgiving, after 10 minutes of use the top part of the screen where you listen to gets very warm and the back part where the camera does too, i was wondering how could i fix this and is my phone defected? i haven't tried any longer because i don't want my phone to fry up
I have a nokia e6 which I brought in jan'12. The issue is that the touchscreen doesn't respond on many occasions. The screen doesn't respond to touch. However the phone is working. I can make calls, access the menu, etc., using the keypad. Whenever this problem occurs, it lasts for about 20 mins and then automatically the screen goes fine, but this happens once every hour or so and now the problem is also very frequent......
I still have not been able to stop the Atrix music player from stopping after 4 minutes when the screen timeout is set for 2 minutes. Strangest thing. The screen shuts off after 2 minutes as it should but the music keeps playing for exactly 2 more minutes then stops. When the screen is set to never time out, there is no problem, (except unnecessarily buring out the screen and the battery, of course.) The auto-end list in the stock task manager has Music, Gellery, Files and Purchased Media set to NOT shut off. I have read that there are other apps that should be on this list, like News and Weather
I tried call someone the screen flickered and went white. I can turn it off and back on and it will work fine but when I lock it or is goes black, and goes back onto the white screen. ive tried everything i can without taking it apart. I dont have any warrenty or insurance for it. I got it from my sister and ive had it for about a year and not dropped it once! just abit battered from when she had it. Ive been told to buy a new screen but im not paying for a new screen and then someone to fit it for me :/
Today i forgot to bring my iphone with me, when i came home i noticed that my iphone did not respond to the power button. I have tried several solutions like putting it in DFU Mode, reset, leaving it charged on my desktop/wall for no less than 2 hrs etc and of course its jailbroken, i also tried booting it in tethered mode but these dont work.
My iPhone is stuck on the apple screen. I have tried putting it in recovery mode and trying to restore it but iTunes gives me (error 21). I have tried restoring this phone on other computers and still (error 21).
I tried to restore my iphone to factory settings and now I am stuck at the activation screen. The message reads"Your Iphone could not be activated because the activation Server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to iTunes to activate or try again in a couple of minutes". I am going on 3 days now. The phone is connected to my computer. Itunes is open but there is no indication that the iphone is connected. Apple support told me via email to uninstall itunes and re-install it. I did but the result is the same. When I try to restore/activate it appears to process and the following mesage appears" It may take up to 3 minutes to activate your iphone" but after the time expires it goes right back to the message above. When I hold down the home button, Emergency Call, Start Over, WiFi Settings and Cancel buttens appear. Nothing else works with or without the SIm card removed. Currently only my Wifi connection seems to register.
my iphone froze up while opening the phone app so i did a hard reset (held down power & home button until it shut off). when i turned the phone on again it got stuck on the boot screen. i tried plugging it in to my computer to restore it but nothing happens.
I was browsing the internet with a low battery and then my iPhone switched itself off, I assume because of the battery. Ive plugged it into my charger, first to a Mac and then to the mains. It keeps staying on the apple screen for ages, then going blank, then back to the apple screen for ages again. Ive tried holding the sleep button to switch if off but it stays on the apple screen. Ive also pressed and hold sleep and the home button for 25 seconds - this eventually turns the screen blank, and then back to the apple screen. A couple of times the screen where you input your passward to unlock the phone comes on, both times Ive got as far as inputting the first number and then the screen switches back to the apple screen.
Im away from my mac and itunes that I use with this phone so havent been able to try to connect it to that yet.
I have followed the process of updating my iphone to ios7, and i keep choosing the option to restore my phone through 'itunes backup'. I connect my phone to itunes, i let it sync and copy over all my files and once this process is over, my phone stays on the 'iphone is connected' screen showing the diagram of the cable and the itunes logo. At this point, i'd expect to be able to get into my phone and use it as normal, once its asked for my old passcode lock probably?
I unfortunately can't do this as the top power button doesn't work and I used to use the assisted touch button to turn off my phone. So i can't get into my phone to adjust these settings either...Â
