i was wondering if this is normal, i had my phone for like 3 weeks now since thanksgiving,after 10 minutes of use the top part of the screen where you listen to gets very warm and the back part where the camera does too, i was wondering how could i fix this and is my phone defected? i haven't tried any longer because i don't want my phone to fry up

I can still receive calls etc and can see a 'backlight' come on behind the black screen when buttons are pressed, but I can not see anything on the screen. I have tried restoring the phone from recovery mode in iTunes but this does not fix the problem. If it were the screen that needs replacing then would the phone get warm?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI dropped my iPhone, cracked the screen and LCD, replaced both, as well as the inner plastic bezel holding them together. Now, the LCD doesnt turn on and the touch screen will not respond. The backlight wont even turn on .It is still on, responds when I plug it into USB, it still vibrates and has its files and will be picked up by iTunes, but the screen is black with no display, no backlight and as far as I can tell the touchscreen is not working.And the kicker is that it was working for a few seconds, when I first put everything together, I just took it apart to get the home button to be seated properly, and bam, all of a sudden everything stops working.Frustrating indeed ! Would anyone be able to help me out please ? I am sick that it seems I will have to buy another part, but, if it will fix it then it's worth it !

I've bought an Xperia Play a few days ago and I noticed something strange. Sometimes a small area on the right side of the screen becomes completely unresponsive. It feels random and usually last for 10-30 seconds. I've tried the Sony Ericsson update service, and did a reset, but it didn't help. I'm thinking about taking the phone back, but the problem is very random and difficult to replicate, so convincing someone, that there is a problem might be difficult.

So as things are perfect and smiley in the world, the way to make your day complete is to drop your brand new samsung galaxy s2 from a pathetically small height and watch as the whole screen shatters to bits. Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. Understandably this is to ensure absolutle security to your sh** but I can't help wondering why samsung didn't install an option that allows you to unlock the phone from your computer. really need some help figuring out how I can get my sh** back. If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.
