I lost my phone and i called it and it rang at first. but then, the next time i called this message came up. The person you called has a voice-mail box that has not been setup yet.. I'm using at&t go phone and i really need to know what this means. is a fake v-mail thing playing to ignore my calls? or is the battery dead?

After a while, it times out and says "An account verification has not been received yet." and has the option to CALL AGAIN.

It does not go into a deleted folder, it is just gone. I started paying attention to the dates of the messages, wondering if it automatically deleted a message after 30 days. But today my messages from April 12 were gone. I can't find anyone else who has this problem! Sprint is my carrier.

Checked all my settings and volume!! Phone still does not ring, this is happening since i reset my iphone and used my ipod touch backup as a restore. View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got off the phone with my local Apple store here in New York and asked them if my reserved iPhone 4 would still be there when I get out of work at 4 to pick it up.He told me to call back on Wednesday to make sure that they are not releasing reservations, but he thinks it will be held for me. He said that they're not sure if they are going to be releasing reserved phones to customers.In my opinion, them releasing reserved phones to the public is pretty crappy and doubt it will happen, but you never know. Call your local Apple store and see know what they say. We're probably going to get different stories.

I think the biggest thing was that I was very polite and told them how much I have enjoyed the products over the years and that I was just a little annoyed with having to purchase a case to fix the issue.
Overall I'm really impressed and the people I talked to were great. I'll post my e-mail from Apple when I receive it as proof.EDIT: He also told me that another person would be calling either Monday or Tuesday to follow up on the issue.So yeah for those who didn't believe me here is proof.
