View 1 RepliesI can't get AT&T visual voicemail to work on my S6. It calls but every time asks for my PIN. Once I get through voicemails and end the call it says "Please wait... setting up your account..."
After a while, it times out and says "An account verification has not been received yet." and has the option to CALL AGAIN.

I'm using at&t go phone and i really need to know what this means. is a fake v-mail thing playing to ignore my calls? or is the battery dead?

How to get rid of "New Voicemail" notification in my S6?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTransferred my phone number from an AT&T iPhone to an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Active last night. Voicemail requires a password but I don't have one (never had to enter one on iPhone). I tried calling the AT&T number and they say I am not authorized because I changed out the SIM card (which they did at the store) and to try again later then I am cut off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my S4, if I received a voicemail, there was an icon that popped up that said I have a voicemail and if I clicked on it, would automatically dial my Verizon voicemail number.
Now with my S6, every time I receive a voicemail there is an icon that shows up, but if I click on it, it launches Visual voicemail instead. It asks me to accept or decline as this is a paid function. When I decline, it doesn't seem to make a difference. Each time I receive a voicemail I get the same thing.
I'm trying to get my phone to go to Verizon voicemail and not Visual voicemail when I receive a voicemail.
cannot retrieve voice mail - keeps asking for password.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a notification at the top of my Samsung Galaxy S5 which says Voicemail message. But it is not from EE, it is from +447953222222. EE says I am not to call the number as it is probably a scam but I cannot get rid of the notification. I have added it to my Blocked callers list, I have deleted it but it comes back after a second. I still have content lock on my phone so I have not been to any dodgy sites.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and recently my voicemail has not been working. It used to, but all of a sudden it just isn't there anymore. If someone calls and I don't answer, it plays a tone, then says the mobile user is not available. I thought if I tried calling voicemail it would let me set up my voicemail again. It didn't. It just told me I didn't have a voicemail. Does the S5 have a different way you go about setting up voicemail? Or do I need to just contact my carrier?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried changing it from the *86 to *86# just to see what would happen, and sure enough, it worked. So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. I tried opening the dialer, going to settings, voicemail, and changing it from there, but it still didn't work

I solved. I deleted data at phone setting.
I use google voice so have no need of the Samsung voicemail app. Yet it keeps notifying me of voicemails from long ago. How do I turn it off?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAt 3:06AM every morning I receive a voicemail notification. However,my phone never rings, and there isn't a record of any calls. I have a Sprint Samsung S6, 5.1.1. I use the regular voicemail app and not the visual. The icon will not clear. The only way I can clear it is by going into the Applications Manager and clearing the data from the Phone application running, but it always comes back at the same time. How do I fix this???????

View 24 Replies View RelatedSince I've updated to lollipop, I've have a bunch of issues. One I just found out now is that I'm not getting my voicemail notifications when someone leaves me a message. I called someone back cause I noticed I had a missed call and they told me they left me a message. When I checked my voicemail, I had over 10 new messages that I didn't get any notifications for.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and I never get any kind of notification of a voicemail. I receive no voicemail icon and no voicemail sound. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I have tried going to settings and it doesn't seem to work. It is difficult to remember to check for messages when you have no idea a person has even left one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got the lollipop OS upgrade on my Galaxy S5 and now when I miss a call it could be up to 10 hours before I get a voicemail notification.
View 2 Replies View Relatedone of the things i like about the S5 is that I can tell at a glance at my home-screen that I have a certain number of unread emails, text messages, Facebook notifications, etc. that is not the case with voice-mails. As far as I can tell there is NO way to get a notification on the home screen via an icon that there is one or more voice-mails waiting for me to retrieve. As I generally keep my phone on vibrate or silent, this is a bit of an issue for me. Am I missing anything?
