View 3 RepliesI received a voicemail and now the notification is stuck on my screen. i am not able to swipe it away and when i click and hold on it i go to the app info and the options are, set priority and hide content. Both i turned off and when i pulled down the notification bar it is still there. I have read previous posts but none apply to the s6. I read that you should do a system restart, but will that delete all the things on my phone?
View 24 Replies View RelatedThis happened a short time ago. The notification for my voice mail popped up after a call. I listened, deleted the message and the notification will not go away. I have cleared out all of my saved messages and rebooted twice and it's still there. How to clear this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedSo on kitkat i had the voicemail icon stuck. i use google voice, and i think this is just a standard verizon voicemail icon. I've checked and there are no new voicemails.
I figured when i upgraded to lollipop it would go away. well guess what, it didn't. so i did a factory reset, and now it's back.
I found that by deleting the data and wiping the cache on one of the 4 phone apps, i'm able to get rid of it, but then when i reset the device it comes back.
This one will be hard to describe so I'll do my best: Somehow, I have 2 Toolbox Icons on my screen. One is movable and fully functional (works normally) and the other is stuck in the bottom right corner of my screen and is grayed out (but visible) and is not movable or functional.
I have done the following:
1) Reset phone;
2) Turned the Toolbox "on" and "off" in Settings (when doing this, the functional Toolbox Icon turns on and off as it should);
3) Battery pull. Still, no luck as the non-functioning Toolbox Icon simply will not go away...
how to turn on voicemail notification. I thought ì had found all the notifications but obviously not.
View 24 Replies View RelatedSince I've updated to lollipop, I've have a bunch of issues. One I just found out now is that I'm not getting my voicemail notifications when someone leaves me a message. I called someone back cause I noticed I had a missed call and they told me they left me a message. When I checked my voicemail, I had over 10 new messages that I didn't get any notifications for.
View 4 Replies View Relatedone of the things i like about the S5 is that I can tell at a glance at my home-screen that I have a certain number of unread emails, text messages, Facebook notifications, etc. that is not the case with voice-mails. As far as I can tell there is NO way to get a notification on the home screen via an icon that there is one or more voice-mails waiting for me to retrieve. As I generally keep my phone on vibrate or silent, this is a bit of an issue for me. Am I missing anything?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Verizon Galaxy S6 and have been using Google Voice for voicemails. Recently, I discovered that sometimes my voicemails come through several hours after the call. This does not happen all of the time, but it does happen some. It is also pretty inconvenient. I do not want to go into the app and press refresh after missing a call, just to see if I have a voicemail. I did not have this issue with my Galaxy S3 or Moto X. Also, I have the sync, notification, etc settings all good to go.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter I restore the phone it takes about 20 minutes to an hour for the voicemails to show up again. This problem is very annoying especially since it's a new phone.

I was wondering if it's possible to permanently save a voicemail with the date and time somewhere on your iPhone or if you can sync it to your computer to save it? Also is it possible to send songs or ringtones in a SMS/text to other iPhones? Or send songs or tones in an e-mail from your iPhone to another iPhone?

View 1 Replies View RelatedEver since I received my mini pro, unless some program has caused otherwise (games etc) it has been stuck in landscape mode. I have checked my settings and it is set to rotate when I turn the phone and still nothing. Tried factory reset, I'm on the most recent build (I think, pc companion isn't offering any updates) still nothing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUpon turning on my Triumph, the phone states the phrase "Incoming Download Mode" once, then repeats the following message over and over, on a black screen: "polling, get oemsbl_mode = 1". Apparently this is the bootloader mode. I am Not inadvertently or intentionally holding down the volume down button or any other button at the same time as the power button, as many forums mention as the possible problem. I have tried: pulling the battery for hours; pulling the battery and holding down the power key for 30 seconds; pressing the volume up and down keys a lot when the phone is off and the battery out (in case up or down volume button is stuck), then powering up the phone. In none of the above scenarios is the phone connected to anything via USB cord. At the time my phone developed this problem about 48 hours ago, I was simply surfing the web on my phone.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my MXPE yesterday, and ever since I activated it I'm constantly recieving a notification that I have a voicemail. Every hour my phone will go off telling me I have a new one, but when I access my voicemail there are no messages. I'm on Sprint, and I've called their support and they've walked me through everything from resetting my voicemail to reprogramming the Sprint code in the phone, but it still won't go away.

I just upgrades from a Curve 8330 to a Bold 9650 on Sprint an am not getting voicemail notifications. On the Curve they showed up in the SMS/MMS app and, more importantly, sounded a notification when a message was received. On the Bold there is no notification, only the number on the main screen incrementing by one.I get SMS messages on the Bold with the number (unchanged), but nothing for vm's. A search turned up the same problem posted in many other places, but never a solution.Surely voicemail notification didn't go away with OS5.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't find where to change the ringtone saying I have a new voicemail waiting for me. The tone is "shimmer", and no where in the sound profiles can I find it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem with voicemail notification, specifically, there isn't any. I had a few people complaining about me not returning their calls, and when I called my VM, I had 5 messages, but the phone never showed any indication of new messages.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi get a voicemail and will use the notification bar voicemail notification to dial and listen to my voicemail, It will dial and connect and play my voicemail, but while in this call: I can slide up and down the notifcation bar, but any other input is simply ignored. The 4 home buttons on the bottom work, the finger print reader works but I can't select power off, I can't hangup the call since all main screen input is simply ignored. Once the voicemail call times out due to no input, and disconnects the call, the phone turns back to normal operations: I can select apps, widgets on the main portion of the screen. When I simply go to the dialer and select the voicemail entry in my phonebook or hold down the '1' key, the phone will call my voicemail and I can do/use all functions.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy husband and I both got the 9700 this past weekend. Mine works great but unfortunately, his voicemail notification does not work. We've tried adding visual voicemail, removing visual voicemail, adding it again, removing it again, resetting to network with Customer Care. My husband doesn't even care about VVM. He just needs regular voicemail notification. And yes, the voicemail works properly and the notification has worked perfectly fine through the years on his 8900, his old 8320, his old Pearl, etc.
Yesterday I called Customer Care and the CSR rep said all we had to do was go to the home screen --> hit menu --> scroll and click on messages --> hit menu --> scroll and click on voicemail setup --> scroll to notifications --> choose ON, then save or done. Sounds simple enough. Unfortunately, when I followed his steps and went to the home screen and hit menu, there is no "messages" in the menu. If I go to the messages icon, I can get to message alerts for all messages but there is no voicemail setup.
