Galaxy S5 :: How To Turn On Voicemail Notifications
Mar 30, 2015
I have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and I never get any kind of notification of a voicemail. I receive no voicemail icon and no voicemail sound. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I have tried going to settings and it doesn't seem to work. It is difficult to remember to check for messages when you have no idea a person has even left one.
I have a notification at the top of my Samsung Galaxy S5 which says Voicemail message. But it is not from EE, it is from +447953222222. EE says I am not to call the number as it is probably a scam but I cannot get rid of the notification. I have added it to my Blocked callers list, I have deleted it but it comes back after a second. I still have content lock on my phone so I have not been to any dodgy sites.
I have certain apps "i.e. quick change keyboards", I like to have the notifications for it shown on my notification screen, but I do not want to see it on my lock screen. Other apps I DO want to see on the lock screen.
There are 2 days a week that i need my ringer on at work for daycare purposes. So i have ringtone on, and the other 3 settings (media, notifications, system) all turned off. However, i still get facebook message notifications, and vibrations from Twitter alerts.
Can't seem to turn off notifications for certain apps in app info. I uncheck that option, but the apps keep notifying me! Both apps are Supercell ) could that be their problem? I have to uncheck it every time, but all of the sudden, I get notified of something. I never had that problem, stated a couple of weeks ago.
I have a GS6 stock for AT&T. Every time I get a notification, my screen lights up. When I had my HTC m9, the screen never woke up besides for calls. It's really annoying having the screen light up for any and all notifications.
how to turn off the notification sound when I get a new email. I can't seem to figure it out. I do not want to turn off my ringer or text though. I just get a ton of spam emails at all hours of the day.
Just updated to lollipop and I really don't like the lock screen when I get an email the big bar that shows up...I saw where I can turn it into secure content, but still, I hate that...my girl always sees the bar that I am getting emails and what not, regardless of if she can see the messages..
The very top notifications are fine, just don't need it plastered on the lock screen, how to turn off that while still having the little icon notifications on top?
So I updated to lollipop on Verizon S5 the other day and I thought at first it asked if I wanted my notifications to turn lock screen on, but then after turning notifications off and using a different lock screen for a bit, I went back to stock lollipop lock screen and now none of my notifications turn the lock screen on. Does notifications turn the lock screen on so you can see them? If so, where the setting is to choose this as I can not seem to find it anywhere on the phone in any settings?
I have a Nokia Lumia 820 from ATT. So I cant seem to get voicemail notifications unless i have my data connection. I usually leave it off so I was wondering if there is a way to get voicemail notifications without leaving my data on all the time.
My wife's 3G is having problems that I don't have.
Dropped calls Hears echos Sounds Hollow Sometimes she hears static Her voicemail notifications wasn't coming up. She had to call her voicemail periodically to see if she had any voicemails.
She has 3.1.2 installed. The phone is also jailbroken. We both have AT&T. She called AT&T and and they did some troubleshooting and they fixed her voicemail, then said that they think that she needs a new SIM.
I have a Galaxy S5 and would like to be able to stop the notification of receiving an e-mail without stopping the notification of text messages. Is there a way to differentiate? I was able to do this on older phones.
Ive had quite a few blackberry's and get on really well with it. I would like to turn off my voicemail as it costs me every time i want to listen to one. I would rather not have the feature. I cant find where to do this?
I threw caution to the wind and took Sprint's Android Update since most of the problems I read about didn't seem too important to me except for over heating and battery life. Since I have had good luck with updates in the past, I did the update and it went very smoothly. Further, I think my G3 run smoother now. No overheating. If battery life is lower, it's barely detectible.Sure, I'm having to adjust to a few minor changes, but I think everything clicks along nicely. My only complain it the Stripes Voicemail I can't seem to turn off. how to keep that turkey from loading all the time?
I have an Xperia 8 and I am trying to set up my voicemail. I am on t-mobile. I cannot find how to get this turned on - when the phone rings it never cuts onto voicemail at any point.
My family just got the new iPhone 4s. All but one of us have the normal voicemail we have used since the advent of voicemail on cell phones. One of us has visual voicemail. We have worked for hours trying to reset it to regular voice mail and haven't figured out how to do it. Especially if there is a way to do it without resetting everything or restoring the phone to factory settings, that would be great. (I have already spent the day re-setting/restoring another phone that lost the use of music after updating to 5.1).
All of a sudden (just today) my torch started playing a ringtone whenever I get a voicemail message. For whatever reason I cannot turn it off! It even does it in "vibrate" mode. When I go to the options menu I get alert sounds for email, level 1, PIN and text. How do I turn off voice mail notification?
his issue I've had since I've owned the phone. I've never had voicemail activated. I'm deaf. I don't need it.Yet, every day I receive a voicemail notification, with the icon in the top of the screen. Visited Orange UK shop, they confirmed the voicemail was definitely off... but were at a loss to explain why the icon was present.
Is there anyway to either turn off this awful Battery full notification while it is charging or can LG remove this? My phone constantly vibrates all day and night when on the charger and I can't put it on silent because then my alarm won't go off. Is there anyway to either disable this annoying feature or is there an alarm that works on silent mode or what? I have tried multiple charging cables, plugs, outlets and every single time once my phone is charged it vibrates every 15 seconds or so.
I should be able to turn off notifications. Â I like to save lots of nice images so I don't need a THOUSAND notifications telling me I've downloaded a tiny image. Why can't I turn this off?
