Jun 11, 2015I've had my S5 for a year now. I noticed ever since the 5.0 upgrade that i got in April for my ATT S5 that I have been missing calls and texts due to my phone going into silent in my pocket because the dreaded volume keys are able to press themselves in my pocket even with the screen locked and off. I don't see an option to stop this behavior and to me it seems like an OBVIOUS place for there to be an option.
What can I do to stop this? Even worse sometimes it will click up to a high ringtone volume and go off when I am in a meeting at work.

1- clearing the data of smart connect
2- clearing the data of enhancment sounds
3- raising the sound volume and checking the X-Loud
Even i changed the notification tone and the ring tone to any other thing and it also didn't work i noticed that the lower speaker only used when it comes to notifications and incoming calls ..

Nov 12, 2015There are 2 days a week that i need my ringer on at work for daycare purposes. So i have ringtone on, and the other 3 settings (media, notifications, system) all turned off. However, i still get facebook message notifications, and vibrations from Twitter alerts.

Does notifications turn the lock screen on so you can see them? If so, where the setting is to choose this as I can not seem to find it anywhere on the phone in any settings?

Ever since yesterday, I am not receiving any notifications for ANYTHING, be it messages, whatsapp, facebook, snapchat etc, I only see I have a message if I click directly into the app and then it shows me i have new text/snap or whatevs. This is frustrating so much!!!!! Ive checked in my settings and I have all my notifications switched on, I even set them as a priority but still no joy! - power saving mode is off

May 30, 2015For several months now I have been playing the music on my Samsung Galaxy s5 through the stereo speakers on my motorcycle. I turn the volume up all the way on the phone and set the volume on the stereo at about half and I can hear it clearly, even at freeway speeds.
A couple of days ago there was a software update for the phone and now, even with the volume set at maximum on both the phone and stereo, I can't hear anything once I get over about 60 mph.
