View 1 RepliesHi! Does anyone know of a way to get voicemail recorded directly on the phone? Say somebody calls you and your phone is on but you don't answer, the phone records the message to the memory? I know my old Sanyo phone could do it, but can the Nokia 6275i or any phone for that matter? Thanks!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am wondering if there is a way to get rid of or disable visual voicemail on my Turbo? It is getting annoying any time I get a voicemail and the phone tries to default me to visual voicemail instead of standard (non visual) voicemail.
Also, is it now the norm for voicemail messages to be "read" as to the exact time/date/length of the voicemail? Or is that a component of visual voicemail? My messages often take longer to "load" than to listen to the actual vm itself since it is telling me what day it was sent, what time, how long, etc
My phone is one of the "not so good battery" variety, so it needs to be charged mid day every day.
Today I couldn't go to work due to hurricane and thunderstorms near me. so I sat back and played some N64 Zelda for 2 hours and what do you know, I'm at 60% with 2 hours of SoT... probably the best SoT I've ever gotten (I'm guessing I'm gonna have 5 hours SoT today? estimate?) but when playing something like dead trigger with the same exact Bluetooth controller the battery drains much faster. (I would say the same battery wasted in half the time)
When using an app or Voice Recorder the Mic works fine. When I plug a headset in, the Mic cuts out... Do I have to use a headset with built in MIC... I want to use headset to listen and built in MIC in phone to speak.
View 10 Replies View RelatedSince a few weeks I have the very odd effect, that the S-II's built-in Clock app's timer does not ring, when going off. It silently displays "Time's up" on screen, but doesn't sound nor vibrate. I do have set a sound in Clock => Timer => Menu => Settings => Alarm Tone and the volume is turned to 100%. I also have set all sounds in Home screen => Menu => Settings => Sound => Volume up to 100% but ther is not sound!t drives me nuts and makes the device practically useless as an alert device

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe is another "feature" of the SG-II's built-in email app that infuriates me regularly:Each time when the mail app reloads emails from the server, it deletes all previous mails from the inbox (be they read or unread). Thus, if one accidentally triggers two reload/refreshes in sequence (or has automatic mail downloads enabled) this causes the unread mails from (an) earlier refresh(es) to be silently deleted and to "disappear", before one has a chance to read them! This happened already a couple of times to me and this is really insane

View 2 Replies View RelatedTransferred my phone number from an AT&T iPhone to an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6 Active last night. Voicemail requires a password but I don't have one (never had to enter one on iPhone). I tried calling the AT&T number and they say I am not authorized because I changed out the SIM card (which they did at the store) and to try again later then I am cut off.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my S4, if I received a voicemail, there was an icon that popped up that said I have a voicemail and if I clicked on it, would automatically dial my Verizon voicemail number.
Now with my S6, every time I receive a voicemail there is an icon that shows up, but if I click on it, it launches Visual voicemail instead. It asks me to accept or decline as this is a paid function. When I decline, it doesn't seem to make a difference. Each time I receive a voicemail I get the same thing.
I'm trying to get my phone to go to Verizon voicemail and not Visual voicemail when I receive a voicemail.
cannot retrieve voice mail - keeps asking for password.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a notification at the top of my Samsung Galaxy S5 which says Voicemail message. But it is not from EE, it is from +447953222222. EE says I am not to call the number as it is probably a scam but I cannot get rid of the notification. I have added it to my Blocked callers list, I have deleted it but it comes back after a second. I still have content lock on my phone so I have not been to any dodgy sites.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and recently my voicemail has not been working. It used to, but all of a sudden it just isn't there anymore. If someone calls and I don't answer, it plays a tone, then says the mobile user is not available. I thought if I tried calling voicemail it would let me set up my voicemail again. It didn't. It just told me I didn't have a voicemail. Does the S5 have a different way you go about setting up voicemail? Or do I need to just contact my carrier?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried changing it from the *86 to *86# just to see what would happen, and sure enough, it worked. So then I tried changing it to my actual phone number, and now it won't let me. Everyone I try, it just says voicemail number has been changed, then I hit ok, but nothing actually changed. I tried opening the dialer, going to settings, voicemail, and changing it from there, but it still didn't work
View 1 Replies View RelatedHow to remove voicemail notification? It's stuck in the notification bar and won't go away. No voice message at all.
I solved. I deleted data at phone setting.
I can't get AT&T visual voicemail to work on my S6. It calls but every time asks for my PIN. Once I get through voicemails and end the call it says "Please wait... setting up your account..."
After a while, it times out and says "An account verification has not been received yet." and has the option to CALL AGAIN.
At 3:06AM every morning I receive a voicemail notification. However,my phone never rings, and there isn't a record of any calls. I have a Sprint Samsung S6, 5.1.1. I use the regular voicemail app and not the visual. The icon will not clear. The only way I can clear it is by going into the Applications Manager and clearing the data from the Phone application running, but it always comes back at the same time. How do I fix this???????

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S 5 and I never get any kind of notification of a voicemail. I receive no voicemail icon and no voicemail sound. I have tried everything I can think of to no avail. I have tried going to settings and it doesn't seem to work. It is difficult to remember to check for messages when you have no idea a person has even left one.

View 2 Replies View Relatedone of the things i like about the S5 is that I can tell at a glance at my home-screen that I have a certain number of unread emails, text messages, Facebook notifications, etc. that is not the case with voice-mails. As far as I can tell there is NO way to get a notification on the home screen via an icon that there is one or more voice-mails waiting for me to retrieve. As I generally keep my phone on vibrate or silent, this is a bit of an issue for me. Am I missing anything?
