Jul 21, 2010I'm new to ios and was wondering if the app store should normally let you know if an app needs to be updated? I see people having badges which show the amount of apps needing to be updated, but have never actually gotten that without going in the app store.

IPhone :: Siri Is Not Letting Me Unlock 4s?
Apr 30, 2012I am finding that Siri remains on with phone locked. It just interfears when I try to unlock and calls out the code I type in without actually entering into the passcode field. So this is "Siri in the middle" attack. I have switched off the phone, restarted couple of times, alas it always comes up in the mode where Siri remains on. I can't even backit up on iTunes as that says its locked.

But heres the catch. I know that my trackpad is not messed up because in my home screen I can scroll all around. Its just in my BBM that it is not letting me scroll up & down. It is really weird and annoying. The letter A button was working just fine 2 days ago. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me. May 29, 2010I purchased my N97 about a year ago and I absolutely adore it. I haven't run into any problems until last week. When I turn on my phone, enter the unlock code and use it to do whatever I need to do, it works fine. However, if I lock the phone or let the backlight shut off, it won't turn back on and neither do the lights on the number keys. Here is the funny part: If I press the power key (as if I were to change my profile) the backlight turns on, allowing me to see the screen, but the number keys don't light up! Does anyone know what I can do?
I'm not very tech savvy (so please don't laugh if my solutions are completely wrong), but here are some of the things I have done to try and rectify the problem:
- Let the battery drain completely and charged it in the hopes that it would rectify itself like it has in the past with other issues
- Took out the battery, SIM card and memory card just to make sure everything was inserted properly
- Restored the phone to factory settings

It should be saved to the e: mass memory, but there is no settings in the application where to change the save location?. The phone automatically makes a folder named "Ovi Music Downloads" in the memory card. It should be created in the mass memory.

Mar 22, 2012My brothers computer broke. It was a PC. But he had his iPhone synced with it. So now he wants to get the music he lost in that computer to download to his new computer. But the music he purchased is on his iPhone, and the computer wont let him transfer the music from his iPhone, to his new computer. It tells him this music was synced with a different library and won't let him transfer the music.
Does anyone know a work around for this. I know he is using a PC, but I figure, and Apple user, who brakes his Laptop(I'm not talking about crashing, I am talking about actually braking, it was smashed basically), would run into the same problem, your iPhone has Music that was synced with another Library, and it wont let you move the music to the new library. Even though this music was all purchased with the same Apple ID, that doesn't seem to matter. Now, I know that one of the new features of iTunes lets you re-download music you purchased and may have lost, without having to purchase it again. But none of the music from that broken laptop appears in that list of re-downloadable music. All was purchased from iTunes.
