I have a 5C and every time I make a call the keypad no longer auto locks, causing my face to hit the Facetime and Mute buttons during the call. I use my phone for work and it's already cased me a lot of issues. Worse yet when I hit the top button to lock my screen manually (this is what it used to do) it simply disconnects my call. How do I stop this button from doing this? I can't find the setting for this within my phone.Â
Also why my key pad isn't locking when I'm on a call to begin with that would be great. .Â
I have three problems with my W995a:1) When I'm texting, the backlight keeps changing how bright it is, when I'm texting it will sometimes go quite dark then other times quite bright (not a major issue)2) When I was calling someone, the phone just turned off and I lost the call, I rung the person back, then shortly after connecting the call, they couldn't hear me so I hung up and rang again. Shortly after ringing again, the phone turned off again.3) And finally - my biggest problem right now, is that I just bought a USB cord to connect it to my computer, yet when I do, it keeps on disconnecting from my computer then reconnecting (even though it's plugged in). This makes it impossible to do anything with it.
My curve started disconnecting calls yesterday. SMS, MMS, BBM all work perfectly fine but I am unable to make outgoing calls without it disconnecting, and I must pick up before the second ring if there is an incoming call. If I reregister my phone, I am usually able to make one successful call before it stops working again. I have reloaded the software, and taken out the battery and SIM card. Nothing seems to work.
I bought first blackberry phone, Strom2 .It works quite fine but sometimes when I make a call its not disconnecting them. I have to take out battery and then use it for 1 day and then again the same problemDuring this, My whole screen get locked and I cant make any click on screen. can you please tell me whats the problem?
I am using my Samsung Galaxy S5 (Verizon) for my work and I recently noticed a flaw in the phone. Here is the scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1. 2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call. 3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds. 4) Disconnect or 'End' the call # 2. 5) This will also end the call # 1 and you have lost both calls.
Here is another scenario:
1) Dial a phone number and begin your call # 1. 2) While keeping the call # 1 active, ask someone to give you a call. 3) Accept the incoming call # 2, and speak for a few seconds. 4) SWAP the calls from #2 to #1 5) End the call #1. 6) This will also end the call # 2 and you have lost both calls.
BOTTOM LINE: Disconnecting any one call during call waiting will automatically disconnect the other call as well.
Can anyone shed light on why I have intermittent trouble in disconnecting calls? It doesn't happen with every call but is frequent enough to make me wonder if there is a problem with my phone. The phone still shows that I am in "active call" status even after I've pressed the disconnect button up to as many as 5 times.Customer svc. at store told me to try shutting the phone off periodically and maybe it will reset; however it isn't like I leave it on continuously.
I was still on kitkat on my xperia z2. One day, when trying to make a call, I just couln't anymore. Basically, I can bring up my contact list, recent calls etc. But when I go to press a contact, which would usually start ringing them, it does nothing. If I manually enter a number with the keypad and press the dial button - the keypad disappears and it isn't dialing. Â I tried restarting my phone, which will then allow me to make calls as usual, but as soon as I close the "phone" app and open it back up again, same problem - pressing contacts/ dial buttons etc will just do nothing. Every time I restart my phone I can pretty much call someone once and that's it. Â I went in to my apps list and founf something very strange - two standard "Phone" apps. Why there are two now, they are also different sizes (one is 1.11mb and the other is 2.0mb). I obviously cannot disable or uninstall either of them. I don't know if this is the problem. Â I have updated to lollipop, thinking maybe that may work, but everything's exactly the same.
My telephone keeps disconnecting after about 20-25 seconds of phone time.It happens 90% of the time. Doesn't matter who I'm talking to or where I am.I have tried restoring the operating system from the unofficial releases to the current bell .423 release.I have tried full format. I have even had the store exchange for a new phone (just today). Still the same problem. Calling Bell they told me to send it in for repair (which is why I got the store to exchange). The only constant now seems to be the SIM card. Could the SIM card be causing this problem? Anyone have any ideas? I've also gotten some messages on reboots unable to connect to rim_blackberry_phone app. This seems like it could be related too, no??
I'm having this problem on my tmobile s6 where my phone screen will freeze randomly but it only happens anytime i lose connection to wifi. When the phone unfreezes, it always shows that I now connected to my wifi network. I am on xtrestolite rom (tmo version) , stock kernel....
My galaxy s5 is disconnecting from my wife though I have all the settings for that type of thing off.. It disconnects and reconnects the moment it disconnects... What could be the issue?
A couple of months ago my Lumia 1020 (about 7 months old at the time) started having trouble connecting to the computer via USB cable. My computer runs Windows 8.1. I'll plug it in and it will connect but then disconnect/reconnect every few seconds afterwards until it disconnects completely. I have tried restarting the phone, restarting the computer, installing new drivers for the phone on the computer, cleaning the microUSB slot on the phone. I have been using the original cable. It works fine when I use the cable to charge through a wall outlet.
When disconnecting an active call, the phone does not disconnect. It stays connected for another 5~ 10 seconds and need to press the disconnect button few times to come out of the call. Has anybody gone through this and is there a solution?
I have successfully paired my z3 to my laptop and once I connect wirelessly everything is fine and I can use my laptop to view all the files on my phone. Â However the connecting does not keep, especially if i try to move items from one folder to another, it simply disconnects and doesnt reconnect unless I do it manually. Â This is preventing me from doing anything that MTP has to offer so it is actually a pretty useless application for me. Â I have made sure my phone doesnt go idle during this time so it's not that.
I've recently noticed that whenever I disconnect my bluetooth device from my phone, it changes back to the default volume on Sound, rather than staying on Silent or on the lowest volume I had set on the Sound profile when I connected the bluetooth device ... Â I've come into work on a few occasions after disconnecting my bluetooth headset, only for the phone to ring when a call comes through, despite having the phone on Silent before leaving the house when I connected the headset ...
I live in Downtown Los Angeles, so reception isn't a problem. I usually always get full bars. However, when talking on long phone calls 20+ minutes with full bars, my phone will just cut off and say call failed. Then I have no reception, then it just comes back.
Is this a iPhone issue or a ATT issue? I have an odd suspicion it's my phone because it occurs so frequently, but Ive had difficulty asking the apple bar to replace my phone just because of reception issues.
everytime i make a call my phone will cut off it can be after a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes!got the latest update, been into vodafone and they gave me a new sim incase that was the problem but obviously its not. also my circle button doesn't work properly and sometimes not at all?
We have two iPhone...both 4. Both are running the latest software. We both have the same issue. One is that frequently when you press the home button to escape an app it doesn't work. If you press the on/off button and then go back to the home button it may work, but not always. It takes repeated tries to get a response.
The second, and perhaps related, issue is that calls frequently do not connect. I can select a contact from either my favorites or the contact list. When I select the name the phone appears to be dialing. You hear the ring once, but no more and the call doesn't connect. Then you can't end the call to start over you have to wait for it to decide to end.
I don't know whether to restore both phones or not. We are thinking of visiting the Genius bar, but we're sure they will work perfectly there.
Never had problems with Nokia in the past, and after happily purchasing a Nokia X6-00 16GB in the month of March of this year, my thoughts on Nokia only reinforced WHY i've always gone with Nokia.
Now, i purchased the phone when i was living in England, i moved back to Cyprus in April shortly after the purchase and got the phone unlocked, put in a Cypriot Sim card with CytaMobile. Everything was just great.
This past month as been slightly less of a joy though, out of no fault of my own, the phone seems to stop recieving and making calls, all calls get diverted to my answer phone, and to solve this problem i have had to turn the phone off, then back on again. Problem solved.
That was until this morning. I can still recieve texts but if someone attempts to call me, they are greeted with a 'beep' and then the phone call ends on their end.
For me i am greeted with deadly silence, then a little notification saying 'No Answer'.
I have restarted the phone;
Restored Factory Settings'
Upgraded to the latest firmware it will let me, being v20;
Still no luck, i am hoping it is not an internal problem with the phone, as in Cyprus as far as 'Offical' nokia care points are non-existant. The SIM card is on a contract, so if my phone had been cut off, so would my messaging and my internet which are all still in-use, and work just fine without problems.
On another note, if you are unable to find a cause for that problem, maybe you can give me a quick reasoning on why the phone shuts itself off when i choose the facebook application on occasions. Again only over the past month has this been happening.
I Lost my phone yesterday I tracked it through the find my iphone app. It pops up but says offline. phone is still receiving calls it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail, so I know its on.
I noticed I am not able to adjust the volume on a phone call while I am holding the phone to my ear. When I pull the phone away from my head and press the volume button down the phone hangs up.
1- Can't adjust volume on call while phone is being held to ear
2- Volume down button press causes phone to end call
How do I reset my phone so that when I press the call button it shows the list of calls made. All I get now is the keyboard showing. Also my charger fit into my phone is very loose.
I am trying to update it to iOS 5.1, but after it unpacks the software and tries to back up the phone, it ends up disconnecting. It won't even let me back it up to the computer, only to iCloud.
My iphone keeps disconnecting/reconnecting to my pc laptop. Sometimes it connects to itunes and usually it doesnt. When it does connect to itunes it automatically tries to back up and sync but disconnects during the syncing process. I've tried reinstalling itunes, fixing apple mobile device support, and updating driver software. not sure what else to do.
then reconnects right when I go to settings view wireless networks. Its almost as it knows it disconnected then it reconnects back up. Im playing an online game then it disconnects then I go to my settings>wifi then it will reconnect then I have to rejoin the online game again.
