I am trying to update it to iOS 5.1, but after it unpacks the software and tries to back up the phone, it ends up disconnecting. It won't even let me back it up to the computer, only to iCloud.

So I picked up 2 Photons yesterday from RadioShack. Overall, I am very impressed with the phone, however my wife's is randomly rebooting, and will not turn back on without disconnecting the battery or plugging back into the wall. I have seen a few reports of this online and was just wondering if there is a fix or if I should take it in for a trade? Kind of worried if mine will start doing this also. No SD card installed, no taskmanager, not rooted, etc

When it does connect to itunes it automatically tries to back up and sync but disconnects during the syncing process. I've tried reinstalling itunes, fixing apple mobile device support, and updating driver software. not sure what else to do.

I have just purchased an expensive AirPlay sound system, and to my dismay, the connection keeps dropping out when using it with my iPhone 4s. Ever since the latest IOS update (7.1.2), my iPhone does not auto connect to my car bluetooth anymore. I have to manually go into Bluetooth settings and click on it to connect. It may or may not connect. If I do get it connected, it will all of a sudden disconnect from the car bluetooth without me doing anything. It used to auto connect and load the phonebook and stay connected. Now, once I manually connect it, it does not load the phonebook after connecting unless I push the button on my car like I am going to make a call. It then will say "Downloading Phone Book" and then disconnect. I might be able to make 1 call, but then it will disconnnect.Â
I have already done a factory reset as well as remove my iPhone from the car bluetooth (so my car doesn't have any bluetooth paired to it) and paired it again many times but I am still having the same problem. It was working perfectly before the latest update.

I can't backup my iPhone 4 iOS 7.0.4 to iTunes 12.0.1.26. It keeps disconnecting even though its connected via cable and wifi on. I've also removed the previous backup. Hoping it would cure the error but it didn't do any good. After removing it, i never got to backup my phone again. What to do?

If I sync my iPad and iPhone to my Mac, they go through each of the steps, but afterwards, I get an error saying that the device could not sync because it disconnected. Every time. Under "Latest Backup", even though I have backed up, it says "Your (iPad and iPhone) has never been backed up to this computer."Â
I have found a post earlier in the year relating to this, after which I went to my Backups folder and renamed that. Syncing my devices after that worked once. Then it went back to "disconnecting".Â
I'm not sure if this is just an error, because all the data that I want to sync is being transferred, it's just a bit worrying that neither of my devices have ever been synced to my computer.Â

All my other devices are fine, wife's iPhone 3G, both iPad 23G and wifi. Only my iPhone 4s All firmwares are up to date on all appale devices that i have.

I use my phone for work and it's already cased me a lot of issues. Worse yet when I hit the top button to lock my screen manually (this is what it used to do) it simply disconnects my call. How do I stop this button from doing this? I can't find the setting for this within my phone.Â
Also why my key pad isn't locking when I'm on a call to begin with that would be great. .Â

I have been using this iPhone 5c for at least a year & 3 months without any problems. Now I am having problems with not only the wifi disconnecting continuously but also my time lags about 30 minutes. My phone would work just fine for about 3 minutes, then bam, the wifi disconnects. I dont know where this problem has came from. I am also not sure if it is just my home wifi. I have tried restarting my phone ( powering off then on & holding the home & lock button, you know the rest ), i also tried turning the HTTP proxy to auto, then back off, turning off & also reseting my router, setting my network settings, & reseting all setting. Also my time is behind, it works just fine when my phone is not locked, when i do lock it, the time wont start counting until about 30 minutes have actually passed..
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo yesterday I was restoring my iPhone 5S from 7.0.4 to 7.1.1 on my Windows 8 system and it got stuck at around 20-30%, I waited an hour or two and it didn't move, so I disconnected the iPhone assuming it doesn't matter if the OS will be corrupted since I want to restore, when I tried another restore it started giving me Error 14, and seems to show the error around the same percentages I disconnected it while it first restored.
I tried downloading the IPSW again from the internet about 4 times from different places too, when I try to let iTunes download it it just says the file was corrupted when the download finishes (tried 5 times) I tried turning off ALL security on my computer, I even uninstalled AVG and turned off Windows firewall, I also tried all the USB ports. when all that failed I got my old computer out of the basement and plugged in it, updated iTunes and what not then tried to restore, and it gave me the same error. This is when I started to worry this may not be something with my computer, but something with the iPhone... Did I brick my phone? What can I do??

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently been experiencing trouble with connecting my Blackberry Storm 9530 (OS5) to my PC. It worked a while ago, it started when I connected it to a different USB port on PC, I tried connecting it back to the old port but it didn't work. So what it does is it connects first, then disconnects then reconnects, then it repeats the disconnecting and reconnecting really fast.
I have reboot both my PC and my Blackberry, and also removed and reinserted the MicoSD card. It still does the same. I have tried repairing the Device Memory and Media Card/memory, still does the same. I haven't experienced this before, only when I changed the USB port on my PC (also doesn't work on the old USB port I used).
My WiFi keeps disconnecting from my home and college networks. When I go to reconnect it says beside the networks that they're poor connections. My home network I have 3-4 bars of WiFi constantly with 12mbs and the college network stays in the 3-4 signal range with 45mbs.

This is a problem that has happened with my S2/S3/S6 with both different leads and different computers. Connecting it to update or transfer music, files etc. can take a while as it keeps disconnecting all the time.
I'm not a fan of iPhones but my girlfriend never seems to have a problem when connecting hers to this and other computers.
My S6 connects fine to my car. However, it keeps disconnecting even if im not using it. I didn't have this issue before on my Note 4. This is a software or hardware issue before i return it ?
