I'm having an issue with accessing my privacy settings on my Iphone 5. Every time i click on privacy, my phone freezes for a few seconds and crashes back to the home screen. Sometimes it will stay frozen on the home screen till i reboot it.
When trying to allow viber to access the microphone in privacy settings, the app does not appear for me to allow them permission so I cannot allow permission....! why and what to do?
Skype was working okay, but today, when I tried to call someone from my phone, it said i had to allow skype to use the mic, but I had already done that. I still went to privacy settings, but no apps showed up there. But on the camera, while I had multiple apps that use it, none showed up either. In fact, tthe only privacy setting working right was location services!
My iphone 4s photo privacy settings went on the blink. I cannot turn any of the displayed app on or off. Also my recently added Instagram app isn't even displayed.
I'm trying to delete the trial version of Kaspersky Mobile Security from my E71. The message I'm getting after starting the deletion process from the application manager is: "Before uninstalling KMS 9.0, disable Encryption and Privacy Protection."where on Earth do I do these seemingly simple tasks? I have not been able to do either task and I have a feeling it is a ridiculously simple process. I'm admittedly new to Nokia E71 smartphones and fully understand this is blatant operator failure on my end. I seem to be getting in a loop on the FAQ and other means of resolution.
My mother (age 68), keeps changing her password and forgets it. She also turns on sim lock without remembering the password. Can't explain why she does it. This has been a weekly event since getting the phone. She did the same to new hp pc. After 6 hours with tech support they deemed it owner damage. After sending it back and $400 it's fixed. We set it up with an account for her and a locked admin account. This won't happen again to the pc.
I've looked through all the docs and can't find any way to lock the settings. There must be. What if your kid watching a video or playing a game- goes in and starts pushing buttons in settings?
I'm trying to setup a new exchange email account on an iPhone 4. This is normally pretty straight forward, however, on this particular phone I can't get into the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings. When I go into Settings and click on it, the screen flicks up into the settings for a second and then boots me out of settings and back to the main display
I have tried restarting the phone to no avail and checked to make sure it has the latest software update. Is there anything else I can try before I resort to resetting back to default settings?

We are introducing iPhone into the business but have a question regarding security. We need to restrict user access to the settings on the iphone probably via a passcode. We also need the user to have access to their emails (which when using exchange enforces a passcode). Is this the same passcode that is used for both by default? Because if it is then by allowing the user access to their emails they would by default have access to the code that allows them to change the settings of the iphone? How I can achieve something similar.
iPhone 4s, ios 5.1, Verizon customer. I have never had an issue until this phone. Why I can see the "delete from server" option, but I can't check it? It's really annoying to delete emails from my phone and then have to go back and delete from my computer.
I have my phone synced with a 2011 Ford Expedition. Somehow I turned on the bluetooth privacy mode so I can't use the handsfree with the vehicle. I don't know if it was turned on via the phone or vehicle. how to turn privacy mode off?
tell me the steps to locating the APN Settings that I was told should be in the Advanced Options menu- but isn't there? I've got a BB Curve 8530 and need to make sure the TCIP selection is correct.
Using Google Sky Map on my LG G3, and there is a search function in there, which on other phones with a physical menu key (like samsung phones), is accessible via that...
As there is no physical key on the LG G3, how I can access this menu. It also contains the apps settings as well....
I recently upgraded to a Blackberry Curve 8520 from T-Mobile. I am at my wits end. I have a $9.99 unlimited internet plan with T-Mobile. I have gone through several websites trying to find the APN settings to use with the Blackberry Curve. I have found several of them, but none of them seem to be working. Can anyone out there tell how can I go about this? Honestly, I do not want to pay T-Mobile the $30.00 a month they are asking for access.
I just got lumia 920 5days ago and now I can't access to my phone settings. Can't even go into settings to open wifi or other things.Tried soft reset also can't.Tried My Window Phone to remote erase phone also can't.Here is the link
When i'm using the browser the Blackberry Logo Button doesn't seem to work. If I hold it I can switch programs but it wont open the menu where the options are. The button works fine with other applications! I tried wiping the blackberry but it's just not making any difference! I'm so frustrated, I only got the phone the other day!
I have recently bought a 1520 (a HK variant with GBIE firmware) and on inserting a giffgaff sim I can only access 3g/4g (there is no 4g in my area so it shifts to 2g then back to 3g, 3g signal isn't great).
Any way to enable access to 2g in the settings, if this is going to be changed in denim or if it is best to change the firmware version?
Currently set to RM-937_eu_euro1_231 OS 8.10.14192.280 Firmware 02061.00066.14253.40002
Today I plugged my headphones in and waited for smart connect to disable clear audio plus since it hurts my ears with headphones... It didn't do that, I tried disabling it manually but I couldn't access audio settings in music app... It just wouldn't do anything when I clicked on it, then it said this: [URL] .... and when I did go to settings, sound, audio settings it again said the same thing... I've restarted my phone like 5 times to no avail... And I've checked running apps and there's nothing that could do this.
I have a Blackberry 9300, on Vodaphone, I set up my email sometime ago, but i wanted to add another email address but i can not access my email settings on my phone, does anyone know how I can do this, also after updating my phone my email icon has disappeared how can i get this back?
Somehow i'm not able to access my settings anymore. It gives the following error code (translated from dutch) 'The application 'Settings' (proces com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again'.I haven't downloaded any new apps recently, no new SIM or SD. I've already tried removing battery, SIM card etc. and putting them back in.
