Jun 21, 2014I have many notes on my iPhone that fail to show up in iCloud. I'm trying to figure out how to move all of these and save them, because they are important. I'm running the latest version of iPhone (7.1.1) and Mac(10.9.3) software. My notes from this year are in iCloud, but I have notes going back to 2009 that aren't there. Shouldn't every note currently on my iPhone be available in iCloud, and therefore accessible via my MacBook Pro? I am specifically asking about not having all notes backed up. Recent notes are in iCloud, but older notes are not, although they are still on my iPhone.

Jun 29, 2014My client accidentally deleted all of his iPhone 4S' Notes backups because he didn't want his iPhone 4S to be backing up to his Exchange account. He does not like the clouds. However, we thought it only deleted from ONLY Exchange account on iPhone 4S and not the whole device. Oops.Â
How can we restore his MacBook Pro's and its Time Machine's local backups ONLY for Notes and not everything else like Calendar. We just want Notes to be restored to his iPhone only. All software OSes are the latest versions (Mac OS X 10.8.5, iOS 7.1, iTunes v11.2.2, etc.).Â
Also, how do we view Notes in a MacBook Pro's Mac OS X?Â

Mar 21, 2012I took my phone into apple today as it was broken, I was still under warrenty so knew i would be given a new handset so ensured i backed all my pictures and contacts on itunes. I have got home and spent all night trying to put everything back onto my new phone, but my pictures and contacts don't seem to be there. Instead it added all the pictures off my laptop and not from my previous handset
I'm not bothered about my contacts but there are some pictures that i would be really upset to lose of my nephew.

Apr 13, 2012I have a new laptop. My old one, to which my iPhone was synced has been backed up using Time Machine.
On my new one I decided to check out Outlook to see if it could be usedful, I have never used it before. So I opened it up and to my suprise there are some old contacts from years ago and some old emails from an old email account also from years ago, how they got there I didn't/still don't know, so I went ahead and deleted them. Then I discovered, also to my suprise that the notes from my iPhone were there too, not knowing how they got there, I delete them. A few minutes later I open up my iPhone and what!!! all my notes are deleted! I'm guessing now that the two were syncing without me being aware of it through iCloud.
My question is how can I retrieve almost two years worth of important continuously edited notes?

Sep 3, 2010Weird problem here, my Notes application cannot find the notes I've written, it's like they were auto-deleted. The first time it happened I thought maybe I exited without pressing done, thinking maybe that saves it. But it's happened to me several times. I write a note, press done, exit out of the program. Open up the program and the note is still there, but after a day or 2 it's just completely gone. I'm not even syncing it or anything. This is on a ip4 with 4.02 and no JB.
