I was looking at pictures in my photos and next thing you know when I try to turn my volume up, it doesn't work. I switched the slider on the side and it still doesn't work. I turned my phone off and it for some reason didnt stay on. it restarted itself and came back on.what is wrong with my volume? i already tried going to general > reset all settings and it didn't do anything!

my iphone 4 is not working after updated to 5.1 i have my phone about a year and never had any problems with it. then i updated my phone to 5.1 and use it for a while then suddenly the volume dont work no more its not in mute it does not ring or nothing total silence Internet, music, etc... i restore my phone and nothing still the same i try everything and nothing.

today i tried listening to music on my iphone 4s,only to find that my volume adjuster had disappeared.and just to clarify,when i say that it disappeared,i mean that when i press the volume buttons on my phone,i see the speaker icon but the gauge bar is gone. i tried to test if this issue was only happening in one place, by checking out if i could adjust my volume through my Internet app. unforuntately, the volume slider has disappeared from the app as well.

My volume control does not work without having headphones plugged in. When I try to play music or audio from websites through my speakers, I do not have any sound or control over the volume. I have done a reset, I have done a restore, I have done all of the firmware updates. There are no blocks under the ringer volume icon. There is no volume bar when watching video or playing music, but these things are there when I have headphones plugged in. I should also add that my ringer and message tones still work.

I am pretty sure that after my up grade to 5.1, my volume + button stopped working. I think this is a software problem, because I can temporarily fix the issue by re-setting the network settings. However the fix is short lived, because as soon as I connect to a wifi network, the volume + button stops working again.

now when i am trying to watch a YouTube video for example, or typing clicks- there is no sound coming out of the phone speaker. whenever i press the volume buttons up/down, the "ringer" square comes on but no volume bars are displayed. whenever i watch a YouTube or listen to a podcast i can not raise or lower the volume on the screen either. i do hear the phone ring, and hear alarms through the speaker. The phone's volume buttons suddenly stopped working and today the phone is in a constant vibration mode even when not using. This started when a call came and ever since then the phone is constantly vibrating. Can feel the motor running at the back but not sure why it is running in such a hyper mode.
