IPhone 4 :: IOS 7 / Control Notifications On It Via Internet?
Jun 5, 2014
ive left my phone at work, and i was just wondering if i could turn off the notifications via the internet, so that my twitter messages dont come up on my home screen for people to see?
I have multiple subscribed calendars that I normally turn off in the Calendar app. But as best as I can tell, showing calendars in the Notification Center is all or nothing. I will see upcoming events on all the calendars which tends to leave the calendars I want to see in Notifications lost in the noise of too much information. Is there a way to control which celendars' upcoming events show up in Notifications and which do not?
Is there an easy way to adjust these at the same time? It's annoying to have to go into the settings to change the notification volume when I change the ringer volume. My S3 changed both with the volume button.
Why is Windows Phone having version 7.5 if it still can't set different volumes for music and notifications... When I listen to radio the volume setting of 1 is often loud enough, if I then put it in my pocket I mis all calls as it is not loud enough. If I set it back at level 25 I get woken up at night for incoming mails... BTW, why can't I even define (off-)peak synchronisation intervals for my mails?
In anticipation of the imminent arrival of my new phone, I'd like to know if it's easy to control this (especially via 3G). As soon as I use the 3G for internet, on my contract I will get charged £1 (as soon as connection is made). Obviously I'd like to avoid this (unless I decide to do some surfing / emails etc.).
I have Motorola Defy (running android 2.1), i want to prevent it from going online unless there is a Wi-Fi connection (don't use my 3G connection/serves provider internet)
With my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.
I have a Galaxy S5 and would like to be able to stop the notification of receiving an e-mail without stopping the notification of text messages. Is there a way to differentiate? I was able to do this on older phones.
I have certain apps "i.e. quick change keyboards", I like to have the notifications for it shown on my notification screen, but I do not want to see it on my lock screen. Other apps I DO want to see on the lock screen.
is there an APP to control my Panasonic PVR with my iPhone?
I have the Panasonic DMR-BW850 linked by Ethernet Cable to my Thomson TG7823T Modem, as well as another LAN Cable to my Western Digital My Book World Edition II, and I want to control these products with my iPhone 4S eg; I want to be out and about, and be able to set my Panasonic PVR to record from 20 miles away, or 2000 miles away.
Is there anything like VLC (or logmein.com, etc) for an iPhone which will let me control the iPhone remotely, either from a computer or another iPhone?Recently my wife's phone went missing. We can see it in Find iPhone. But, we would like to get a sense of what is going on with it. Whoever found has it on and is not responding to messages we are sending to it
Having been used to Voice Control on the 3GS, I used it regularly for calling people, playing music, etc and always found it very accurate. However, the VC on my new iPhone 4 is really dreadful.I realise that it may be a simple fault with my actual phone and a simple replacement may be the only answer.I have a Genius appointment booked for early next week, but the thought occurred to me - has anyone else experienced this and if so, any ideas/suggestions?It cannot recognise anything I say and gets all commands truly wrong. I have tried resetting it but it makes no difference.
I have a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 Navigation DVD in my car and the bluetooth with my new iPhone 4 does not allow the volume to be adjusted, like I could do with the 3G iPhone.
So, the caller's voice is really loud and the echo is very bad. On the 3G I could use the volume buttons on the iPhone to turn down the caller's voice which made the echo mostly go away. Now, the volume buttons do nothing.
Anyone having problems with their jawbone or other headsets? I was thinking I may have to switch to one of those instead...?
all of a sudden I cant hear music or video audio on my iphone 4s - the slider bar for the volume control has disappeared and the +- buttons on the side dont work. Ive tried a basic reset and also backup and restore of software thru an itunes sync but it hasnt solved it
My iPhone 4 has been glitchy. Sometimes voice control goes on every few seconds. Sometimes touch screen doesn't respond and a box appears around every character I touch. It stops when I reboot but it has begun to happen a lot
Is there anyway to mirror my Iphone on on Ipad? Preferably with touchscreen ability. Idealy I would like to be able to control my phone from an Ipad.Â
