ive left my phone at work, and i was just wondering if i could turn off the notifications via the internet, so that my twitter messages dont come up on my home screen for people to see?

I have multiple subscribed calendars that I normally turn off in the Calendar app. But as best as I can tell, showing calendars in the Notification Center is all or nothing. I will see upcoming events on all the calendars which tends to leave the calendars I want to see in Notifications lost in the noise of too much information. Is there a way to control which celendars' upcoming events show up in Notifications and which do not?

Is there an easy way to adjust these at the same time? It's annoying to have to go into the settings to change the notification volume when I change the ringer volume. My S3 changed both with the volume button.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy is Windows Phone having version 7.5 if it still can't set different volumes for music and notifications... When I listen to radio the volume setting of 1 is often loud enough, if I then put it in my pocket I mis all calls as it is not loud enough. If I set it back at level 25 I get woken up at night for incoming mails... BTW, why can't I even define (off-)peak synchronisation intervals for my mails?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWith my old Xperia Z1c, when adaptive brightness is on and the environment light is darkest, the screen brightness may be adjusted to, let's say, 0. Even you drag the brightness control bar to leftmost, the dimmest brightness you can get is still 0. But in Xperia Z5, you can go dimmer than that with the control bar, and this dim cannot be achieved using the same control bar if you disable the adaptive brightness. If one component cannot do something in manual mode, should not be able to do that thing in automatic mode either. So I believe that this is a bug.

I have a Galaxy S5 and would like to be able to stop the notification of receiving an e-mail without stopping the notification of text messages. Is there a way to differentiate? I was able to do this on older phones.

I have been using my iPhone 4S for a few months and was working perfectly until two days ago I have been noticing battery charge issues. I use my iPhone for calls and emails - I am not a huge user and don't have too many apps on it. THis is the second day in a row when I have been charging my battery twice at night and in the morning when I wake up. I expect the battery will run out today as well before 6 p.m.

Is there a way to know what data an application accesses, and when it does so?
Is there a way to block it?
A firewall application for the iphone?
I know that you can turn off the GPS, globally, or "block" it when an application asks to access your location.
I saw an article a few days ago that said there is quite a bit of personal info that apps can access via published API.
Having been used to Voice Control on the 3GS, I used it regularly for calling people, playing music, etc and always found it very accurate. However, the VC on my new iPhone 4 is really dreadful.I realise that it may be a simple fault with my actual phone and a simple replacement may be the only answer.I have a Genius appointment booked for early next week, but the thought occurred to me - has anyone else experienced this and if so, any ideas/suggestions?It cannot recognise anything I say and gets all commands truly wrong. I have tried resetting it but it makes no difference.

So, the caller's voice is really loud and the echo is very bad. On the 3G I could use the volume buttons on the iPhone to turn down the caller's voice which made the echo mostly go away. Now, the volume buttons do nothing.
Anyone having problems with their jawbone or other headsets? I was thinking I may have to switch to one of those instead...?
