I forgot the passcode for my iPhone, and sent it to a shop for it to reset. Now as I open it, I have to log in with an Apple-ID I don't know of. Is there some way I can reset the whole phone and disconnect it to the Apple-ID?
I restored my iPhone 4S recently and used iCloud backup that was about a half hour old. After the restore I got a popup on my phone that was asking for my Apple ID and password, the weird thing is there was already an email in the Apple ID field, the email that was there I have never seen in my life, and I don't know anyone by the name that was in the email.
After I replaced display on my iPhone 5s I tried to restore it from iCloud. But during restore it asks me to enter password for unknown apple ID rabbitde@hotmail.com. I have restored my iPhone few times before but it's first time I get this kind of message.
I bought it in Apple Store and the device was never jalbroken. Here is the screen shot: [URL] ...
I keep receiving iMessages from an unknown number. Because I am receiving iMessages, I know the user must have an Apple ID. I have reason to believe this is a secondary number/secondary SIM card of someone I have blocked, so I am curious: is there any way to determine the person's Apple ID if all I have is their number and the random iMessages they have sent me?
I have an iphone I would really like to use. It has been sitting for about a year. The previous user did not give us her icloud password and her account was not removed from the phone before she left the organization. I would really love to reset the phone and reuse it, but I do not know the password.
When I try to connect my iphone to Itunes a legend says tha apple mobile device is not connected and I canīt get them work. I have try many things and dosenīt work.
When I try to update an app I type my apple ID password and a box pops up with "Unknown error." but I can still log into my Apple ID elsewhere, so I know the password is right.
My iPhone 4s won't connect to my car head unit it comes up connected and then half way thought it comes up as not connected and when I try to connect again it come up as device is out of range even when the phone is right next to it?
My iPhone is on the Bell network, along with 3 other iPhones in my household. We have WiFi and the phone indicate that they are connected to the WiFi when we are in the house. However, my bill from Bell indicates several instances where the phones (all 4 at different times) are connected to the 3G network for 24+ hours at a time. Additionally, it shows the phone connected twice during that time period (as though there were 2 different sessions at exactly the same time, but with differing amount of data connected)
The explaination that Bell gives me is that there are 'minimized' applications still working on 3G even though the phone says it is on WiFi, and that each of these opens its own 'connection'My understanding of cell technology is that the phone can only access one method of Internet connectivity at a time, and that it can be explained as a 'pipe' or 'straw' carrying connectivity and all of the data. I have never heard of a phone that can access two different types at the same time, nor one that uses separate 'sessions' at the same time of either type of connectivity.
I would assume that I turn on my phone in the morning and I am in my house, it indicates WiFi, so I can browse the web, collect my email and update my Facebook on that 'session' that lasts 4 hours until I leave the house. Now my 3G kicks in and the email that I still have open now collects through the opened 3G session, as well as the page I left open downloading something. When I get to work and enter my WiFi area there, the session would then collect my email through WiFi again, and my download as well.
The story so far: I bought an accessory in Nov 2011 at an Apple Retail Store. (Philips dual-dock speaker) It started malfunctioning in Mar 2012. (Dock not charging anymore) I brought it to an Apple Store (closer to my place), they were happy to replace it on the spot, except that there was none in stock. So I was advised to go to an other Store (the original one), where they had stock. So far, so good for service. I went to the other store, but there I was told that they could not replace it because I had bought it more than 14 days before, so I had to contact the manufacturer directly! So my questions are:
- What is, if any, the actual policy on non-Apple product repair & replacement?
- Why don't all store follow the same policy?
- Should I just try my luck again with another person, until I strike gold and get it replaced?
I made a purchase for a black bumper and paid $31.60 but when I go to the Apple.com website to check the status of my refund its shows "There is no record of a refund for the receipt number you entered." I tried entering my receipt number plus last 4 of card and I also tried just entering the full CC number as well and get that response for both.
Just wanting to know if anyone has possibly experienced before, wanted to to see if any Macforum members have had this issue and what was the resolution to your issue? Should I just call Apple? Are they giving refunds in store if you take in your receipt?
I currently have a curve 9300, and my service provider is Telus Mobility. I am connected to wifi and up till about 3 days ago everything was working fine, now it shows I am connected, but I can only get on internet for about 5 mins, I have to shut off all my connections then reconnect them for it to work again.
Having problems with my Xperia Ray connecting to my Jawbone. It shows it connected, and the jawbone even beeps when calls are ended. The problem is all of the phone audio is routed through the phone and not the Bluetooth.
I have tried to back up my iPhone and re-sync to remove data that I don't understand on my iPhone. There are over 5GB of "other" storage on my phone and I can't load my music because of this unknown stuff. How do I get rid of the "other" storage?
Everytime I try todo anything that involves backing up my iPhone 4, this message comes up: 'iTunes could not backup the iPhone "Titch's iPhone" because an unknown error occurred (-20)'I have tried uninstalling iTunes and downloading it again, and I have refreshed my iPhone a bunch of times but still no luck! and I am a newbie to any sort of Apple product!
I have an iPhone 3GS on Tmobile (unlocked and jailbroken, of course), and it's logging all of my calls except the incoming Private/Blocked/Unknown calls. Is there a setting somewhere that will let me log those calls as well? All of my other phones have logged all calls.
