Jun 7, 2011why does it do that, after the recent update the phone is beeping while i scroll through my contacts even if it is on soundless mode?

Apr 5, 2010i have problem with my nokia x6 that i purchased last week. whenever i try and make a call, there is a constant beeping coming from the handset, also if i try and change the volume it goes either all the way down (if i press down volume key) or all the way up (if i press up volume key).

May 26, 2015I notice sometimes a bit of stutter when i am scrolling through the contacts and log, you notice it when you try to scroll slowly, and in the app drawer there is some too, it happens when you do not open the app drawer for a bit of time, then you open it and slide between the pages and the first slide stutter a bit, after that its fine..... I am thinking of doing a factory reset..... I have my phone for about 5 weeks now....

Dec 18, 2011This problems appeared 2 weeks ago when I called my friend and he didn't answer my call - what usually happens is a loud short beep and the call is ended - but this time the phone continue beeping and I had to press "End call" to stop the beeping and that continued to happen since then. I tried to restart, remove the battery but the problem persists. I'm not ready to hard reset my phone or to reinstall the os to solve that problem.

I couldn't find an option to limit the display to the phone storage only. So i see duplicates. This is anoying. Even my 6 year old 3110 classic can do this! Nokia - where have you hidden this option?

May 26, 2010Re-viewing a planned route with manual scrolling and zooming on the phone was possible in Maps 2.0 and was taken out in Maps 3.0x. In Maps 3.03 you can only zoom to the geographical center of the route (which is useless). You may jump from turn to turn, but you cannot scroll in the zoomed route, let alone add a route point.So my question goes to the people who are already using Ovi Maps 3.04:Is it possible again to zoom/scroll in the preview of a planned route?Is it possible to "edit" a planned route on the phone by adding or removing route points from the preview?IMHO, regarding a mobile navigation application, manually scrolling, zooming and editing a planned route are exactly what make a smartphone into a smart phone.

Considering no usb / bluetooth connectivity; i guess pc suite is out of the question and as there is no internet connectivity, sync is also out. Via memory card perhaps??? The thought of manually feeding in 400 or so contacts is already hurting my fingers.

Sep 26, 2012First, I had to call Simple Mobile because the internet configuration settings they provide online we no good so they message the settings to your phone and all you have to do is save them.Then, today I was trying to access my contacts to add people and it said "Contact service provider for synchronization settings."Then, I called Simple Mobile again and the woman said enter 0000, 1111, 4444, or 1234 and none of those codes worked because she wanted me to reset it to factory settings. She said something about there being no support for that phone and to call Nokia.Then, I called Nokia and luckily the person was nice and it was pretty much the same thing except this time the code was 12345. After I reset it my contacts worked so I thought that problem was finally solved but no because then my internet didn't work so I had to call Simple Mobile again to get it working.After all of that and when I finally thought it was over with now my phone says, "Contacts not available yet. Try again later." I bought this phone thinking it would was the best for the price and on the Simple Mobile website it had it as approved phones for use but now that I have it it's being a pain. I need to view my contacts and be able to add people.I think the problem is is that this phone is supposed to be for T-Mobile and I wish there was a way to turn the synchonization off in Menu>Settings>Sync & backup>Synchronization. I feel so lied to because I thought this phone would work well with my service and I didn't have this problem before I connected it.

Nov 6, 2012I have just bought a Nokia X3-02 in the nice blue color. I really like this phone - I think I am going to like it a lot when I am going to use it. I am not a dedicated smartphone user as many other are - I only use my cellphone for sms and speaking. But I have had a Nokia Lumia 900 for the last 4 months. A very nice phone also and I liked Windows Phone. But that phone is overkill for me - too big and too heavy. But one thing I liked very much about it was that it could syncronize directly, wirelessly with Windows Live e-mail account. So I made a Windows Live e-mail account, just for phonenumbers to be used in my contacts in my phone.
Is it somehow possible to syncronize contacts in Nokia Suite with this Windows Live e-mail account?? And then to syncronize with my pretty little new cellphone? Hope to get an answer soon - would like to start using the phone...

Oct 22, 2011I have a new X3-02 which was updated via Ovi-suite v3.1.1.90I then copied contacts from sim to phone, then synced. At this point, the contacts page in Ovi just shows the little dotted circles just endlessly spinning.Any ideas anyone? I bought this phone *because* I am supposed to be able to manage my contacts via the suite! Very frustrating.
