Aug 8, 2010I have a few issues with my W595. I have taken a back up of all my phone contents using PC Suite but being a belt and braces sort of chap, I really want a hard copy of all of my contacts. I have been able to do this easily with other phone versions of PC Suite but I can't see how to do it with the W595 version. It is very important that I do this because the issues I am having with my phone, (it keeps losing all of the contacts and call history as well as stored text messages).

Feb 23, 2010My company is requiring me to migrate to Outlook which requires a reset for my BB where I have to wipe the Storm and start all over. I've done this in the past with no trouble, but this time we're transitioning to Outlook, and I'm hearing from numerous colleagues that it DOES empty my Contacts and replaces them with what Contacts I have within Outlook - which is about 5% of what I have in my BB Contact List. I need to do this today. Can anyone help me in understanding how to access and at least print the list so that I know how to keep it? Also, I backed up my BB on Desktop Manager last night, just in case, but when I try to search for the Contact info I couldn't find anything.

Sep 30, 2012When I add specific contacs to a group, I do not see that contact listed under the main contacts list. They are available only under the groups. It looks like a bug with the xperia neo v. Nov 24, 2011Love the phone - just got a really irritating problem. I've synced my phone with my gmail account - the My Contacts list has my key contact email addresses. Then I have multiple groups within gmail account relating to work emails etc, nearly 500 odd.
On the phone, when I click my 'Contacts' button, initially it showed all my phone number contacts, as well all google email contacts mixed with them. I corrected this by going to 'display options' to select 'display only contacts with phone numbers', so that I didn't have to trawl through random email addresses mixed with my proper phone contacts. Great, sorted.
But, when I go to compose a text message - if it is to one or two specific contacts it is fine...I just type their name and it comes up. If I want to scroll through all my phone contacts to send the same message to multiple contacts, big problem - I press that envelope button in the top right corner next to 'enter recipient', and it takes me to the Contacts list, but here it still shows ALL 600 odd contacts with phone contacts still mixed with google email contacts, which is impossible to scroll through and select multiple people to send a text message to....Does anyone know how to sort this out?!??!

Jul 7, 2011I pressed the contacts icon and the screen turned blue, as if to load my contacts then it turned back to the basic screen. I also I can't add any new contacts (if someone calls for example). It's just happened for no reason! Xseries :: Transfer Contacts To It?
Sep 24, 2011Is there any way i can transfer contacts to this phone. Considering no usb / bluetooth connectivity; i guess pc suite is out of the question and as there is no internet connectivity, sync is also out. Via memory card perhaps??? The thought of manually feeding in 400 or so contacts is already hurting my fingers.

Sep 26, 2012First, I had to call Simple Mobile because the internet configuration settings they provide online we no good so they message the settings to your phone and all you have to do is save them.Then, today I was trying to access my contacts to add people and it said "Contact service provider for synchronization settings."Then, I called Simple Mobile again and the woman said enter 0000, 1111, 4444, or 1234 and none of those codes worked because she wanted me to reset it to factory settings. She said something about there being no support for that phone and to call Nokia.Then, I called Nokia and luckily the person was nice and it was pretty much the same thing except this time the code was 12345. After I reset it my contacts worked so I thought that problem was finally solved but no because then my internet didn't work so I had to call Simple Mobile again to get it working.After all of that and when I finally thought it was over with now my phone says, "Contacts not available yet. Try again later." I bought this phone thinking it would was the best for the price and on the Simple Mobile website it had it as approved phones for use but now that I have it it's being a pain. I need to view my contacts and be able to add people.I think the problem is is that this phone is supposed to be for T-Mobile and I wish there was a way to turn the synchonization off in Menu>Settings>Sync & backup>Synchronization. I feel so lied to because I thought this phone would work well with my service and I didn't have this problem before I connected it.
