Xseries :: Nokia X2-00 Message Creation "send To" Field Gone?

nav key left brings up message creation dialog... until now, it used to have 2 prompts: the top one for writing your actual message and immediately under that one, the "send to" propmt where you enter the recipient's number. however, out of the blue, the "send to" prompt is gone. i have to open the "send to" menu with the main nav key, select "number or email" for the prompt to appear
have not screwed around with any settings or the like.... it just... changed
Every time I try and send a message to somebody it will send, but then ill have to delete the word 'Adam' which seems to automatically paste into the message field? (Adam being my name) yet I still don't understand why it's doing this. I just want to stop it from happening...
Everytime I send a message from my X3-00 the phone beeps as if I have recived a message. I do not have deleivery reports turned on, so I am a bit confused.
As the title suggests, this started happening from the moment i started using the "Email" feature in my phone. Even though I have successfully removed it (I don't have a fixed data plan), while writing SMS's the "To" field switches to "abc" mode, as opposed by the normal "123" mode. And no matter how much I press the arrow button to change it, the moment I close messages and open it again, it reverts back to "abc" mode.
my (fantastic) N8 shows that the software is "under Creation". What, exactly, does that mean? How long does this process normally take? Days, weeks, months? Is the carrier responsible for the creation process? I'm just trying to learn what is happening, that's all.
does anyone know how to clear the text message field in the .442 update for the 9700. It used to be alt+delete in the older firmwares, but that doesn't seem to work anymore.
"Message Send Failure" every time I send pictures on message? This is also happening on my husband's phone. I have the 5C and he has the 5S. This all started about 4-5 weeks ago. The picture do however go through.
i bought my mobile about a year ago. it was working pretty well.about 2-3 days ago, my phone stopped vibrating on an incoming message.It does vibrate during an incoming call.I have restored the factory settings,switched it on and off,took out the battery and put it back on, but nothing seems to work.Also, the normal message notification(the small envelope on the upper right corner) doesnt show up when i recieve a message. I tried to set it on general,so that it wud give the message tone on an incoming message,but it doesnt give the message tone as well.
I recentley bought a Nokia X6. Everything works just fine,except one thing. Sometimes,when I am connecting to some (free) wifi spots,although connection is well established, the browser gives error message that it cant display the website(every one).
When I'm trying to fill the field in the browser, to identify myself on my school website, there's an error message that says "complete field". I can"t put my complete email address.
Every time i go to send a message, eventually it will come up with "Unable to send message: (Contact Name)"
and so i click DETAILS and it says:"General:Memory full. Close some applications and try again" but i have no applications open.It randomly started doing this about 4 o clock (so about 6 hours ago)
I buy E52 two days ago and i have a lot questions; at the first:
I have big problem with sending emails because i can't. I have personel mail account with my hosting and i retrieve all messages from my inbox but i can't send a mail.
I tried gmail account and it's works fine..
I configured my account with pop and imap (my mail server supports both). Both configuration retrieve mails but didn't sent! Always same error "Unable to send message: Name Surname <email@account.com>"
By the way I'm from Turkey and in the Turkey smtp 25 port is closed, we're using #587 port and i configured at the email account installation.
When you click on 'contact us' it takes you to a page where there is a panel ' call or email Nokia Care'. You can put in your area but that’s it. you cant send a message to Nokia care. So why do they pretend that you can. Yours disgruntled as usual.
I have bought Nokia 5230 on 10-Jan-2010, but I am not able to send SMS from my phone, I check the settings of message center (Airtel) and it is fine, but still I am not able to send the SMS. I throws "Unable to send message to <<contact namd>>.
i want to know what would be the possible actions if my nokia e51 phone won't send sms message anymore though i have a prepaid load and the network signal.i tried to insert my sim card to another phone and then it can send sms unlike in my nokia e51.i tried also another sim card on this phone and still it can't send sms messages..what shall i do?
my phone cannot send message..but my phone can received message...outgoing and incoming call also no problem...i've try to switch my SIM card to other phone...it seems to be ok...but..when i switch back to 5320..the same problem occur....
Im getting this problem since 2 days now. When I send a text message to anyone, I get an error saying ''Messaging: Feature Not Supported". After quite a few attempts the message finally is sent but I dont receive any delivery report even though I have enabled that option. And when I check the sent items or conversations, the recipient is totally someone else! I tried soft reset and the problem solved. But now it came up again. Soft resetting my phone every day is not an option.
I was reading some where about photo's and lost it when I joined.The problem is I cannot send any via message. I was about to receive them and now it says get media content now. I read turn on data.I'm not on the net with my phone and have plugged it into my comp and cannot work out how you go on the net with it anyways. I didn't receive the phone for the net anyways. I just would like to be able to send photo's and receive them.
I'm trying to send text but its keep saying RESEND and when I check memory says messages 14kb to 26 kb even though its empty and after 2 3 times resend it says GENERAL: MEMORY FULL. CLOSE SOME APPLICATION AND TRY AGAIN.But in ma cell its 48mb space free
I currently have a NE63 - 3 phone and is currently loving it however two days ago i started getting a sending failed error message everytime I attempt to send text messages and when I click on the details it would say not enough memory please close other applications.I have enough load credits to perform such activity,and i do not have any other applications running in the background,plus the phone memory is nowhere near full capacity.I have already checked the message center number and I currently have the correct settings,I have already peformed a reset but to no avail.I am able to receive text messages,able to make and receive calls,wi - fi access is okay,the only thing I cant do is send text messages.I know there are other e63 users out there who might have experienced the same thing.
Why when I try to send a text to canada while vacationing in Greece, do I always get a message send failure message, but I can still receive messages from Canada.
