my xperia top screen(where you see battery, service network + more) goes missing sometime, during this if i get a call, it just rings and i cannot screen anything on phone, restart gets it back.
View 1 RepliesI bought neo v on jan 14 2012.. After i bought it, the box seal was opened before me in the shop and the seal was fine. That time I dont know that neo v comes with a screen guard. When I came home and checked the contents of the box on the label there is a screen guard written on it. I went back to the shop and asked about the same. They said that the box was opened right before and we cant help it if it does not come inside the box. Is this the fault of sony ericsson or the shop keeper is cheating me?

Put my phone onto charge last night with phone turned off. Don't normally do that but kept getting FB notifications. Turned phone on this morning and noticed several widgets missing from my home screen. There are gaps where widgets were but now they are missing. They are still on the phone as they're visible on the other screen where all my apps are.
I just upgraded to lollipop and now im missing the lock screen effect with the particles animation following you finger when swiping.
Facelock option has dissapered from lock/unlock options..
hit power button , home screen appears , but the unlock slider is missing and screen is open .
View 6 Replies View RelatedFirst off when I take my phone out of lock or wake up it from sleeping the icons are missing till i wipe my finger across the screen.. its weird to explain but its kinda like i have to swipe the whole screen for the icons to be visable the same thing happens when my phone goes to sleep and the keyboard is open.. any ideas?
and another thing is sometimes ill be writting a msg and my phone will make 3 beeping prompting type of noise any idea what this is?
I replaced a Torch, 9800, with a replacement unit. All seems to work except the icons on the bottom of the bbm screen. They are normally "send", view contact info" etc. However, I just show a single star in the middle bottom where the icons should be.

I Turned off my phone during a twitter update at first it said the app was waiting to download but then completely disappeared from my home screen when I went to go re download it the app store kept saying I already has it when I clicked on open it didn't doing anything but freeze I have restarted my phone 3 times and logged out and in back to my account.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just "upgraded" from my 9700 to a 9900 with OS7 (remains to be seen if it feels like an upgrade when I get everything finally sorted). Mostly it seems fine after some difficult first days.A small but weird thing. On OS6, in the top bar of the home screen I would get alert symbols for Mail, SMS, BBW upgrades, BBM upgrades, Twitter, etc. If I clicked on the top bar, a page would open where I could see the top of my email box, the top of my SMS box, etc etc.
The same thing happens on OS7, BUT for some reason now my email inboxes do not appear (the "new message" symbol appears, but the inbox is not on the detail page that opens); same for BB, same for SMS. When I click that bar, the only content which appears on the more detailed page is my calendar and Twitter.I thought maybe there might be a setting which determines which content appears on that detail page and which does not, but the only manageable element of the home screen now appears to be the panels ticklist.
After i have upgraded to ICS, i don't see 'Never' when setting screen timeout option in SmartActions.

I've tried the search but can't find my solution.Until yesterday my home screen used to show upcoming appointments on the lower half of the screen. It now shows no appointments. I've tried all the obvious things but guess I either have a real problem or am missing something.1. There are loads of current appointments in my calendar. Many on each day and the reminders for those still alarm.2. Home screen is set to shortcut 3. I don't have any apps loaded that replace the home screen 4. settings/ personal/ home screen/ home screen gives me a list of options but calendar is no longer one of them . All I now have are shortcuts, search, music player and radio.
I'm reluctant to perform a hard reset or re-flash it as it took me ages to get the internet connection working correctly and I expect a reset will mess all that up again.
My Nokia X6 has stopped displaying the music control keys (ffd, play, rew) in the home screen.The radio controls are missing as well. Anyone has an idea how to fix?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a new iPhone 4S and it seems that it misses the FaceTime functionality. I googled alot and all the solutions didn't fit my scenario, it doesn't appear anywhere, not in settings, not in Settings -> Phone, not in Settings -> General -> Restrictions and not in the contacts.I even checked in which country this phone should be in to make sure it's not for countries that doens't allow FaceTime at all and I saw that it was intended to be used in North America so this is not the case.

My iPhone 4S keeps crashing or looping on the screen when I have a missed call. If I try to get out of it pressing the back arrow on the top left corner or I press cancel or ok buttons it just goes back to the missed call screen and I have to reset the phone for it to be able to anything at all. View 8 Replies View Relatedi was navigating with my phone the other day and i think the battery was low. Everything was running very slowely and somehow i accidentally deleted the first mail folder on the start screen. I can't remember what that folder was called but it included all the email addresses that i have plus messages as far as phone messages...it was a sort of summary folder i think. So is there a way to restore it? I didn't see that i was deleting or moving. Just saw the results of the folder not being present anymore.
The other problem that has existed since i have had this phone is that two of the email addresses never show the emails. If i go into the folder it says simply *no messages* and yet there is at the bottom of the screen what you see in the attached image....that there is a message. Plus at the top there is a little notification icon saying the number of unread messages.
Is there a way to find out what apps were recently deleted ?Reason I ask is 2 apps are missing form my 1 of my home screen and have no idea what apps that are missing.

I thought that was a stock part of gingerbread. Has anyone else noticed or is it somehow missing from my phone? I have full animation on.
