I would like to ask Sony Xperia Support.Someone in this forum suggested to see the SI number by pressing *#*#7378423#*#* > service info > software info > customization version.Is this process correct and customization version is SI number. If yes as described in SI list my Xperia Ray's backside SI number doesn't match with customization version.But IMEI number is same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday I bought a brand new Xperia X10 mobile with android 2.1 packed on November 2010 at a SONY Gallery in chennai. After unboxing the mobile, and initial settings, I could not either make a call or receive a call. The showroom guys made a call to Sony support and said, I need to wait for two days as the IMEI numbers are not unlocked yet. I was terribly disappointed since I cannot use the mobile for another two days. But today I just wanted to make a try and inserted my SIM and checked if i can make a call. To my surprise the call was working. I was happy that the phone is activated.
But after 45 minutes, now again I am facing the same problem. The calls are not working. Neither I am able to receive the call nor I can make a call.

View 10 Replies View Related I've just bought a Xperia Z3 but the LTE Frequency does not seem to work.I registered the phone on Sonymobile.com, but the software versión changes everytime I enter the site.For example, yesterday the version of software asociated to my phone was 23.2.A.1.62, today, earlier was 23.1.A.0.726, now the version I see is 23.0.A.2.93.
A friend told me that knowing the version of software asociated to my IMEI I can check if the model is the D6603 or the D6653.I bought the model D6603 because that is supposed to be the model that works with LTE frecuencies on my country.The D6653 does not work with LTE on my country.
I am using this experia8 in India. Since, after buying I have never been able to see my phone number in the phone status menu. Is this feature not enabled for use in India? I have to tap on their name on the top of the screen, then I have to wait, then I am taken to their contact information, where I have to select a number to call.
