All of a sudden my Xperia Ray with ICS build 4.1.B.0.587 does not show up on PC Companion when connected to my PC via the USB Cable. Have tried removing and reinstalling PC Companion. Also tried reinstalling the latest drivers for ICS as per thread [URL]
The USB ports and the cable are fine, as I am able to connect other devices through the USB port and able to charge the phone using the same USB cable.
However the problem continues to be the same, no phone shows up on PC Companion .
I believe a smartphone is pretty much useless if I can't connect it to the PC to transfer media.

My N8 suddenly hung up and suddenly deleted all of my homescreens. It would have been okay for me to set all three screens back to their original configuration but unfortunately, I can't edit the main homescreen. I can edit the two additional screens but NOT the main (1st) homescreen. It just says homescreen is full! Last thing I installed was the Xmas theme Rugge from the Nokia store.

I have my phone for 5 months. Never have i encountered this problem, probably few times but a little restarting fixes it. I'm not having signal at all.. It would say "No service" when you swipe down and check the status. The status symbol is a right triangle only without any bars.Im using the same sim card for 3 years. I tried inserting my sim card on different phone and it works on that other phone(nokia asha 210). Im not able to make/receive calls or text and get mobile data, not even our local emergeny number. When trying to make an outgoing call, it says "mobile network not available". Tried every possible setting changes on Settings>Mobile Networks. Chose different APN and network type. Deleted APN and recreating manually. Went to safe mode and ultra stamina mode, just to see if an app is doing this still no. Finally i master resetted the phone. Still not working.
yesterday my z2 turned off suddenly while i was using it. After that it shows Only red led when i plug the charger, no response, plugging it to the pc vía usb doesn't work either.
I had just kept my Xperia Pro in my pocket. Suddenly, after sometime I just took my cell out of pocket & noticed that it had heated up a lot suddenly & it was switched off. I was not able to switch it on. So, I'd to forcibly remove my phone's battery to restart it. This thing has happen twice & my cell is just a month old Without using the cell, whats the reason for it getting heated up?
I've several problems with my 8 mouths old z3. Today my battery was suddenly dead. And vibration doesn't work. I always use my original charger and never put it into water or washed it. It overheats without any intense usage.
Been using Xperia Z3 Compact for almost 3 months when suddenly tonight the phone's buttons started to not work and the phone couldn't be charged. Luckily my phone is still at 60-ish percent, so it can survive 'till tomorrow.

I have a three month old Z3 on Vodafone in the UK. I have travelled abroad with it 4 times in that time. The first 3 times were fine. Data worked as normal. This month I went to CZ Republic where it was fine. Flew home Saturday. Flew to Spain on the Sunday - no data roaming. I could get texts and make calls but could not get internet or even pick up a 3g or 4g signal at all - even though my 3 friends, all on vodafone right next to me had no problem. I called vodafone and took it into a shop over there. They reset all of the settings for me including setting a new APN etc.Still nothing. They are insistent it is a software fault with the phone - not a connection issue.I landed back in the UK last night and I am picking up data fine again - but I go away next week again and need to make sure it will be working.

I bought a X10 mini/pro on the 10th of December. Was working fine, and yesterday the speaker suddenly stopped working. Can't hear the ring tone while there is an incoming call. Can listen to music through the earphone but not via the speaker. The speaker is dead.
I Bought a new Xperia mini pro about 3 weeks back and it was so cool and I had no problems up till last week. The prblem of the phone is, the battery level drops to 1% suddenly from 20%. And it says battey is 1% and it'll shut down. I didn't do anything, no rooting nothing. it is same as new. It happened about 4 times during this last week. all 4 times it dropped from 20% or 17% or something to 1%. I'm really scared about that and somebody please help me what can i do regarding that. and when i connect it to the charger following that.
I purchased brand new Xperia Active before a week and it started showing battery related problem since then. When my phone shows battery level of 15%, it suddenly drops down to 1%, followed by phone shutting down. I have not rooted my phone. It is running on Gingerbread 2.3.4 and build 4.0.2.A.0.62. Managing on 1200 mA is anyway becoming tough task for me and above that this issue is really irritating now.
