I was bored and doing some thing on my (Dutch) Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, when I saw the option to share content to my wi-fi network. I turned it on, but I don't know how it works! How can I see the content shared to my network and how do you manage what you want to share?
I upgraded my phone with the newer software (available from the Sticky above) and am hating it. My "send/share" feature doesn't work on pics, the phone has been running slow, internet has been touchy, and a whole host of other dislikes. Can I DOWNGRADE my software? Or am I stuck?
whenever I want to share a youtube video, it only allows me to share it to a Whatsapp contact. This happens because I accidentally selected "always" when there's asked with which app I want to share it instead of "just once".
I can't able to share my internet from mobile to PC using Tether. When I trying to do, in my device manager it shows a yellow question mark over the SE RNDIS internet sharing service.I'm using XP SP2 and the drivers downloaded from SE developers site .
I recently bought a Z3+ and I'm very happy with it, except for this issue. When I try share photos to Google+ they never actually get there. When I look at my google+ page there's just a refresh icon.
On my phone, I don't get a confirmation that the file has been successfully uploaded like I do when I share to Facebook.
I have no problems sharing photos to any other app/service, it's just Google+. I thought it might be some sort of weird photo format issue, but if I copy the photos to my laptop and upload from there then there are no issues.
Tried to upload pics directly from phone (gallery) to my Picasa albums for the first time today. It takes me to the screen where it asks for Caption. My Google account shows on this page. However no album appears in the drop down list. When I'm done with this screen a message saying: "Failed to retreive account information" is displayed below briefly. The sharing/sync of course does not happen.I was using Picasa to upload my pics with my previous Android, with the same account. Why isn't it working with the Ray?
I just downloaded the trials of My3G and MyWi and was considering purchasing them. I have 2 iPhones and was wanting to know if I could just purchase one copy and use them on both phones or if I would need to buy one for each phone? Also if I needed to have my phone replaced, would I be able to re-download them again for free?
While living in Australia, I owned the Nokia E63 which was an amazing smart-phone in my views. Now that I am back in Canada, I am looking to get a Nokia E72 but I haven't heard much about it other than no carriers offer it. Anybody have experiences with the Nokia E72?
I can email or sms short videos, but I shot several longer videos with my 3Gs, did a sync with ITunes, and now I cannot find them. Where would those videos go? How can I edit and/or share them?
Can I have internet acess in my Nokia 5230 from my PC, where is internet DSL, via USB cabel or Bluetooth. E.g.: Bluetooth, I have read, that N5230 supports only Bluetooth DUN, not LAN.Is it possible to use Bluetooth DUN in Nokia 5230 to connect to PC via USB Bluetooth adapter with DUN capability to share PC internet in mobile? Why? I do not have any gprs, edge in my mobile, therefore I want to share internet from my PC.
My BB wont send & share pics no more. My camera wont zoom either. It used to work, i could take a pic and upload it to Facebook or by SMS, but now i can do neither. No zoom, no send & share. When i take a photo, i go to send and share - click - but nothing happens.
is it safe to share photos and important documents over bb messenger. have recently received a message claiming that all data are stored in server of rim and is not safe ?
Seems like my stock SMS Messaging is not an option in the 'share' lists from a few apps, namely the Gallary or QuickPIC application. I cannot attach a photo to a SMS message.
If I open the SMS app, THEN try to attach something, it opens up the gallary, but then crashes Sense and the SMS app.
I'm trying to get my mates GS5 and my M8 to play ball (or transfer a large file) with wifi Direct. Used to work fine when we were both using Samsung phones but not when I'm on the m8.
He's using the built in Samsung wifi direct and I'm using superbeam (as apparently the M8 doesn't transfer files without third party software. We can connect but as soon as he tries to transfer a file it fails.
We did try Bluetooth but the speed is a joke and it failed part way though anyway. How to send files from a GS5 to an M8 via wifi direct?
I occasionally email people photos, but suddenly, my G4 has stopped sending. I can't think of any settings I've changed or new apps that I've installed that could explain the sudden change. I use Outlook mail if that makes a difference. I use the Share "line and dot" link withing my photo gallery, choose the photo, then email, then size of photo, and send.
My son is getting an iPhone for his birthday. I would like to share the apps that I have purchased for him on my phone to his. The catch is that his Mom is buying the phone for him. We are divorced, so we don't share an account. Is there a way to do this using iCloud? Do his Mom and I need to use the same iCloud account on our computers for him? Can he have 2 iCloud accounts on his phone that have different billing, so he can get apps from both of us? Will home sharing do this? Does home sharing only work when you are on your individual home WiFi, or will it work when he is not at "home"?
