i tried to download the SE but then my macbook opened it with textedit , so basically i see a bunch of weird encryptions. i could still use it this morning, play music;surf web;facebooking etc, then it just hanged.i remember i dropped it accidently last night. what should i do! there are lots of stuff in my phone that are important, it's almost as important as my macbook

Woke up at about 2:30am and it was working fine but at 7am it was dead. It will not turn on, has no lights present, nothing. We've tried to restart it using the volume, lock, and power keys. We've taken the phone apart and looked at all the parts. Verizon ran a online check of some sorts and says it's nothing in their system. We know the battery and sim card works because he is using it in my dad's S5. We wouldn't worry about the phone so much but he has pictures of his son on there. He had some left on it before he started using a sd card.

But as soon as I plugged it to charge that phone was at 48% again. I am kind of alarmed because this happend to me yesterday as well and it was at 42% then. I understand the maps don't support turn by turn voice guiding at this stage, but I thought ovi maps would at least be able to show a driving view instead of a birds eye view for navigation...Might be a bit of a lamens question, but if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it. Once in BB Maps, click on the Start GPS Navigation, then the BB button, and choose track up. I put the zoom on 2 and it makes for a pretty good voice turn by turn free GPS.

I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.

Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.
