My black berry 8520 suddenly turn off after upgrading my App world i restart it but while i was waiting for it to open, it doesn't show any single red blink or anything that will determine what happen.
View 7 RepliesI've had my blackberry curve 8520 for quite a long time but in the last couple of days I've noticed that its getting quite hot and I'm worried about this? Also one morning I noticed my blackberry battery was on half but I left it of for most of the day and turned it on for about four hours but in that time it had died. The next day it was fully charged by 10 am and by 5 pm it was dead. I don't understand why its doing this, I've never had this problem before and I haven't made any changes. I have the same amount of apps and songs and I had before this problem and I hadn't used any apps or listened to any music this day so it just doesn't make sense.

I know its not sim as sim works fine in other handsets and no prob with handset and service provider say its a blackberry problem so won't help. Iv looked under manage connections and doesn't appear to be option for changing to 3g as service provider suggested.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy carrier O2 Irl..Model BB Curve 8520, Smartphone (Edge Wi-Fi) V5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67)My BB is just over 1 year old and was working perfectly. Suddenly a week ago my email and messenger stopped working. I am connected to my home wifi and use O2 data plan otherwise.I did a battery pull to no effect.I rang the O2 helplne twice and they talked me through various operations but couldnt solve the problem. Eventually they said that as it was purchased in London (it was a gift but I have the receipt), I needed to return it to the shop as it was a BB problem. Not so easy as I live in the west of Ireland.If I go to Email settings it says "Your device had a problem connecting to the server".In Service Status - it says BB Internet Service Connection: Not connected BB Enterprise Server Connection: Not connected.Text messaging works fine. Browser works fine too and obviously I can access my email from here but that is major hassle.

When ever I try and access the Internet or click a link, the Browser opens up says "requesting" and then "loading" - the Blue Bar starts to slowly load up at the bottom of the screen - and thats it, nothing else happensthe screen remains blank, the Blue bar loads up and ... nothing.
My Mobile plan allows me Internet 2G acess and I also have Wi-Fi - all of which has been working perfectly for 8 months until now.
Wi-Fi and 2G internet appears to work perfectly for my Twitter app and my Emails come thru fine too.
My 8520 was working fine last night but the battery was down to 10% charge.
Charged the battery up and phone worked fine and I turned it off before going to bed.
The phone turned on fine this morning and was showing a full charge. I did turn it off when I got to work and when I went to turn it back on when I went to lunch I got nothing. The LED glows briefly and faintly when I try to power the phone on.
I tried hooking to my car charger but with the same results.
while my iphone in charging,suddenly turn off and start to turn on and turn off Automatically.After that i restore to ios 5.0.1 i see no wi-fi no besband and just work 5 minuts and will turn off.please help me.my iphone 3 Gs locked

View 1 Replies View RelatedYesterday my BB8520 froze and I pulled out battery and pull in again after i pull in the phone doesn't wont to start it just blink my led red 1 long and after series of 4 short blinks.I read a lot of forums and I tried everything like loader and etc. but the main problem is that my pc doesn't recognize my bb. I already try with different cables and other pc but steel same story. I put on wall charger to be charged all night but nothing change as well I pull out my battery more than 4 hours nothing change again it's any possibility this phone to be putted in some kind of flash mode which will help to be recognized by my pc. And steel I don't know does it charge my phone when is in this mode because I think that I have only 3 stripes when I pull out my battery.

Everytime I take out the battery and put it back the red light on the right hand corner comes on for a couple of seconds then turns off again. I have kept the phone plugged into the charger but even then no change.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a blackberry curve 8520, i bought it last month sometime.I woke up yesterday morning and the balckberry was off, and would not switch on after i pushed down the ON button. So I charged it for a while, and still, it wouldnt switch on. Then, i took it off charge, took out the battery put the battery back in and it rebooted. The loading bar went right to the end, and the logo of my service provider appeared. And that's when it stopped loading. All that will show is the logo, it wont turn off, unless i take the battery out again.I had downloaded an app the night before it stopped working off appworld, could that have affected it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recenty cleared my phonne with the alt+lglg and cleared some other history stuff, and i seen a thing for memory cleaner and i enabled it and i figured that might save me some time, it prompted me before i closed it that memory cleaner would run when the phone had been rebooted and something else. but now my phone has been rebooted and it wont turn on it just keeps restarting over and over and over again. i left it over nihgt hoping it would be working in the morning and it still rebooted all night.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy charger has a blue light on it so I know when it is working as the light flashes (so I know its not the charger) but when I charge my phone the red light comes on and it goes to the reboot screen or a few seconds and then goes back to a black screen, then might repeat this a few times before not coming on again. It has also shown the battery with a lightening bolt and a red cross through it... I have used blackberry desktop software and have tried clearing my phone, re adding the OS but it just doesn't do anything yet it hasn't died completely as the reboot image comes up before dying again!
