BB Curve :: Suddenly 8520 Doesnt Send / Receive Email

My carrier O2 Irl..Model BB Curve 8520, Smartphone (Edge Wi-Fi) V5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67)My BB is just over 1 year old and was working perfectly. Suddenly a week ago my email and messenger stopped working. I am connected to my home wifi and use O2 data plan otherwise.I did a battery pull to no effect.I rang the O2 helplne twice and they talked me through various operations but couldnt solve the problem. Eventually they said that as it was purchased in London (it was a gift but I have the receipt), I needed to return it to the shop as it was a BB problem. Not so easy as I live in the west of Ireland.If I go to Email settings it says "Your device had a problem connecting to the server".In Service Status - it says BB Internet Service Connection: Not connected BB Enterprise Server Connection: Not connected.Text messaging works fine. Browser works fine too and obviously I can access my email from here but that is major hassle.

Can anyone suggest anything to help me please - since a few days ago I cannot send or receive any picture messages. I havent changed any of the settings or downloaded any apps so Im struggling to understand what it could be...?

I have a 8520and my BBM was working now it will not send or receive. I have removed BBM contacts and removed the battery but will still not work.

When i get a new email from yahoo, and check it on the BB and after I read the email and delete it, it will not show up on my yahoo email when I check on my laptop. But when i check my email for yahoo on my laptop, it still shows up on my BB and doesnt delete unless I personally delete it. Is there an option that when i check my email from my laptop that it will delete on my BB??

I have had BB's before but always on BIS. I now have a 8530 for work that is BES. Is there a way for me to force a send/receive via the BB? I have looked everywhere I could think of on the phone and also searched Google.

Even before the 'big crash' my daughters BBM didn't work. I have tried all the resets there are even uninstalled it, re-installed it etc. When I first got the phone 18 months ago it worked fine. Now wont send, wont receive, can't see anyone's pictures in the menu's. Got wi-fi, got credit, on Curve 8520

Recently i've been having problems with the email that i've set up on my phone. I can send email but cannot receive it.I have a blackberry 8330 curve and am with verizon with V4.5.0.I've been reading other posts on othere forums of people having the same issue but they didn't really help at all.I did the battery pull many many times.I just don't know what wrong with it. also my world app doesn't show any application installed. i can deal with that once i get my email to work..

I got my blackberry curve 9300 and this morning received a message to let me know I am registered. I have registered my email address, (hotmail) and can send emails no problem. So far so good, except when I get a reply I get nothing on the blackberry but the replies are all in my hotmail inbox on my laptop. I have called geeks (carphone warehouse) and gurus at O2 and I have followed all their instructions. I managed to receive 1 email from my husband and then nothing since.

I just bought a Curve 9300 today. After updating my device from 5.0 to 6.0, getting all my apps up and running, i tried to send out an email and i got a red X. I went into email settings and sent the service books and that was no good. I reinstalled my O.S. and repeated the same process, and still no luck. My service providers technical support chat is closed right now and reopens tomorrow, so i'm on the support forum here to try to get some help from you guys. Can't send / receive email

My 8330 started acting up last night. Through my sprint.blackberry.net email I sent 5 to the same email address. I received the check mark stating they were sent successfully. 20 mins later or so my phone notifies me of a new email however there is not a new email, but now a red X in the email that just had the check mark. This happened multiple times. I tried resending the email and composing a new email and all scenarios were the same. Also, I was sent 4 emails last night from this same email address, none of which I received. I did 2 soft and 2 hard restarts throughout the course of the night nothing has changed. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? I had this happen one other time, and I was to the point of smashing my phone. Email through my phone is the only way I have contact with certain people so this feature is VERY important to me.

My device is : Curve 8520?Last time I have problems after I install appworld, device try to reboot, and failed to start up properly, so reboot cycle is endless. After that I brought my device to BB centre in Indonesia ,upgraded my OS and they warned me I'll lose all the data inside my device, which is okay because I have my data backed up before After that they upgraded my device to version 5.0 bundle 1728.After finish restoring my data, I try to set my email (yahoo email account), and it prompt me to input a password... which I forgot what my password is (doh!).Then after that using my laptop, I reset my yahoo email account password, and set a new password. I'm surprised that when I try to set my email again it prompts me an error message : "Invalid email address or password. Verify your email address and password. If the error persists, contact [URL]"Same problem when I try to login using yahoo messenger on my device, or my blackberry internet browser.

I have been unable to receive email on my phone now for days. I initially did a batttery pull and this was unsuccessful. I have done everything possible, that I know of, to fix it on my own. I ended up doing a security wipe and now I cannot send emails either. When I try to send an email i get this message "no message services configured. You will be directed to the setup wizard to setup your email account". However, my email is already set up and I have deleted and readded it, with no luck. I have gone to my service provider- Bell- and they were unable to help me and said that I woudl have to contact Blackberry directly. I have no landline so I would have to go somewhere else in order to call so I can look at my phone at the same time.

Hello. About three days ago, I received a refurbished 8330 from Verizon because the one before that was stopped working properly (different story). I have since then registered the phone to the internet network (Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table) and I still cannot send/receive e-mail through my Blackberry.net registered e-mail address.

i have the bb curve 8520, and does t-mobile have the OS 5.0? I really want it. I got an OS 5.0 from bb website but t-mobile then doesn't cover updates that aren't from them. Does anyone know where to get it from t-mobile?

I am having email problems. I have several email accounts. I receive email on all of them, but can't send on all of them. Not even a reply. The email accounts that work are gmail and [URL]The accounts that don't send are: 1 account hosted by GoDaddy, and a few accounts on my 2 domains [URL] and [URL] all of these accounts work fine on my laptop via outlook 2007. The place that houses my 2 domains said they don't know why I am having this problem.

Im sure its a simple issue that someone can sort for me ....I am able to receive email through my nokia n97 perfectly however I am unable to send email.
I am on orange and am trying to send emails using my virgin pop account (not virgin media-the original virgin company)My email settings go something like this

I've had my blackberry curve 8520 for quite a long time but in the last couple of days I've noticed that its getting quite hot and I'm worried about this? Also one morning I noticed my blackberry battery was on half but I left it of for most of the day and turned it on for about four hours but in that time it had died. The next day it was fully charged by 10 am and by 5 pm it was dead. I don't understand why its doing this, I've never had this problem before and I haven't made any changes. I have the same amount of apps and songs and I had before this problem and I hadn't used any apps or listened to any music this day so it just doesn't make sense.

Nokia Email Messaging has been working ok for 3 months but has just stopped working, Have done all the normal stuff - soft reset , cancelled account and made a new account but I cant recieve or send any email at all. I have Gmail accounts , Yahoo and Ovi but none of them work.I have noticed when you go into settings for one of the accounts and look at the username and password for the Nokia Email Account , in the Password box it always shows `NONE` I have tried to put in my password several times but it always reverts to NONE. Is this correct? It seems it cant save the password ?
The only thing I havent tried is a hard reset but thats a last resort.

I just got my Torch back from being repaired from the track-pad not working.I first cleared anything that might of been on the phone and restored my back-up files to get all my addresses and applications into my phone.I know I have to reopen all the accounts applications I want to work.All my apps I have reinstalled work which I use and are all much needed tools, even up to my documents apps and PDF.I thought my email accounts would of come with the back-up which I reinstalled. I have 2 of each which I need for work, Windows Live, Yahoo and Gmail, but none of them are sending any mail I compose to send and I don't know why, or I may have forgotten not having my phone for so long. or am doing something wrong.
