My daughter has had her 8520 since Xmas and yest we experienced our first big prob! She noticed her battery was running low when she got home from school, so put it on charge. basically my phone wont turn on or charge and the led light doesnt come on when i insert the battery, i went to carphone warehouse and they told me i might need to do a update, so i came home and connected my blackberry to the computer by usb, but i cant do a update because my phone is totally dead, it will not turn on, and the blackberry desktop manager cant detect it when its dead, ive charged it for 4 hours straight and it still will not turn on, the chargers fine and so is the charging port as i recently got it fixed?

I then went to move my phone plus charger upstairs so i could charge it overnight, plugged it in with the same charger it worked with earlier and no sign of charging. I've tried with my pc charger aswell and tried different plugs/chargers.

Charged the battery up and phone worked fine and I turned it off before going to bed.
The phone turned on fine this morning and was showing a full charge. I did turn it off when I got to work and when I went to turn it back on when I went to lunch I got nothing. The LED glows briefly and faintly when I try to power the phone on.
I tried hooking to my car charger but with the same results.
i got my blackberry curve 8520 about 4 months ago and it wont charge, i have had no problems before now and just want to use my phone but every time i plug my phone in, the clock comes up but its not charging

I got a replacement phone, but I had lost my charger, so I bought one from Tesco, it ha the red LED for around 5 seconds, then it showed up on the screen the battery with the lightning through it. I took the charger out and put it back in, and after that it just wouldn't charge. I went back to Tesco and they exchanged the charger. Still didn't work, what should I do?!

When I go to plug it in after getting home it will not charge or even lite up when plugged in. I have tried plugging it into the wall and the computer but I get the same reaction from both and that is nothing. I have tried to pull the battery and it is still the same.

Obliviously, the battery died at the end of the first day outdoor.When I came back to home I connected it to the OEM wall charger and my bb stuck there. It shows me the battery charging picture (the one with a flash in the middle), I can feel the battery becoming hot while connected but the bb don't turn on.When I disconnect the charger the picture disappear but if I can try to turn on it I see just the red led on for some seconds and then nothing.Desktop find the bb but it says that it encountered some not better specified connection error while trying to communicate with the phone. AppLoader show me the PIN but if I try to install the OS it say there are any BB Device Manager installed (but the OS is).

Once i got it to a wall charger the phone charged for a little booted and everything. It even accepted the txts i recieved while it was off. I leave the house for a couple hours i come back and the phone is off. When i plug the phone in nothing happens not even the yellow charge light. when i unplug the phone the red light comes on for a minute but the phone wont boot ive tried battery pulls and everything but the same thing happens everytime and i have no idea what to do. So I charged it for a while, and still, it wouldnt switch on. Then, i took it off charge, took out the battery put the battery back in and it rebooted. The loading bar went right to the end, and the logo of my service provider appeared. And that's when it stopped loading. All that will show is the logo, it wont turn off, unless i take the battery out again.I had downloaded an app the night before it stopped working off appworld, could that have affected it?
